Frostine Finnisson |

After about forty-five minutes, Frostine comes down the stairs rubbing her red eyes, and climbs into Thorgr's lap, laying her head against his chest. Looking around she asks, "Where is she?"

Frostine Finnisson |

Seeing the look on Dagmarr's face she says, "Don't worry, I'm not mad, but I do need to explain some things to her. Like the fact that I'm a grown ass woman who can decide for herself what my body needs, and no one needs to be trying to play care taker and tell me what to do, or....spank me when I don't do what they want me to do." She sighs, "She's new here, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and a pass this ONE time, since I have no idea what kind of life she came from. It must have been a pretty crappy one for her to think that it was okay to do that to me." The petite sorceress explains from the safety of her husband's lap as he holds her. Her bottom was still a little tender, but she wasn't gonna hit Rosa back. That just wouldn't solve anything.

Frostine Finnisson |

She tilts her head to the side slightly, "Fine, for the most part. Come to the kitchen with me, we need to have a chat." Giving her husband's cheek a kiss, she climbs down and heads into the kitchen.

Frostine Finnisson |

Rosa finds Frostine in the kitchen with a chair pulled out from the table, "Have a seat, you'll forgive me if I remain standing for this meeting."
After Rosa sits, Frostine leans against the sink and regards the dhampir for a moment. Finally she speaks after giving Rosa adequate time to squirm in her seat, "So, I'm going to start this conversation by telling you that I'm sorry for whatever kind of life you had before that made you think what you did to me was okay. Nothing about what happened earlier was okay. I am not a child, I am not your child, you have no right to spank me." Frostine takes a breath, "My parents never even did to me what you did. Ignoring me wasn't much better....but I'm better off now, so I'll just let that be. I know I may be young, but I'm not stupid. I can decide for myself when I need rest, when I need water, and when and how much I need to eat. I haved done very well without a nanny, and I don't need one now. You're new here so I'll give you a pass this ONE time, but don't you ever do that to me again. Let me see if I can make this very clear to you." Going to where Rosa had put away the groceries she takes an egg and puts it in her hand.
Walking back over to Rosa she stands in front of her with the egg in her hand, "This is your hand." As she holds the egg, ice forms until it's clear that thed egg is frozen. Frostine closes her fingers around the egg and crushes it, "That's your hand if you ever use it to hit me like that again. Any questions?"

Frostine Finnisson |

She nods, "Good, then this concludes our chat. Rosa, no more hitting. I don't believe in hitting. It's the only thing saving your ass from a paddling. You may be excused, get back out to Dagmarr before she worries
that I am beating your ass. I'm from thed North, but I'm no barbarian."

Frostine Finnisson |

Moving forward she gives Rosa a hug, "Then I forgive you, and we shall speak of it no more. Now get back out to your girl, and thank you for cleaning stuff up and putting it away."

Rosalina Luri |

She nods again and walks back to Dagmarr in the other room, her cheeks flushed from thed scolding she got. She only escaped further punishment out of the goodness of Frostine's heart. Going to Dagmarr, she crawls up into her lap and puts her arms around her while sniffling a little.

Frostine Finnisson |

Frostine cleans up the mess crushing the frozen egg made, then goes back out to Thorgr and gets back into his lap to snuggle with him while they waited to be summoned to Arista's house.

Frostine Finnisson |

Frostine looks into his face, "What are you talking about love? I'm not tense. I thought everything was fine. Aren't we just waiting to haved dinner with Arista?" She says, not noticing anything out of thed ordinary, "We'll haved dinner with them, figure out what's going on, and just go from there. I'm sure everything will be okay, why are you guys feeling all tense and stuff?"

Dagmarr |

Holding Rosa, Dagmaar exchanges a look with Thorg, clearly of the same opinion. The fact was that despite going about it the wrong way, none of Rosa's points were wrong, and as a cleric she knew enough to know that if Frostine kept going the way she was, her and Thorg's child wouldn't be born very healthy, if at all.

Frostine Finnisson |

Hey, it's not like I never rest. I just don't feel like laying down when I don't feel tired...and I eat when I feel hungry. I just don't like being told what to do and we've been dealing with a lot of changes recently. We need to be allowed azn adjustment period. I don't transition well. And we don't know anything about what we're supposed to be doing here yet.
Frostine's stomach growls loudly, "I hope dinner is soon. I'm sure it's gonna be okay if I have a piece of fruit before we eat." Getting up from the couch she walks into the kitchen and gets a piece of fruit to snack on before they had dinner. She didn't want her tummy grumbling in front of her.

Sigrdrífa Helmsdottir |

Giving Jerrica a quick peck on the cheek, Sig follows, glad to move on from the somewhat awkward silence.

Frostine Finnisson |

Frostine kind of sheugs, "At least there's a way to heat it up here. It's really not that much different from what we had back home really. I think we've gotten a little spoiled lately, but it's okay. We can rough it, some things will just take a little longer...but we'll be alright. Right?" She asks, looking from Thorgr to her friends as they follow Temperance to Arista's house.

Rosalina Luri |

Rosa gives Dagmarr's hand a kiss as they head off to their hostesses house, "Yeah, sure we're gonna be fine. Right love?" She looks up at Dagmarr and gives her love a smile. She could deal with anything life threw at them, as long as Dagmarr was with her.

Rosalina Luri |

Rosa looks up at the northerners with a curious glance, "So..that stuff in Valwick...you're used to that? This is all....kinda new to me. Where I was...the place I came from, was nothing but desert. Cities were always way overcrowded, and people would just as soon kill ya and take your stuff, than look at ya. It was just...not good." She says looking away a little and off into the distance.

Frostine Finnisson |

Frostine could tell by the tone in Rosa's voice, that there was probably more to that story than what she was saying...but she didn't want to pry and figured that after some time and when she was more comfortable with them, she'd share what she wanted to. Smiling, she looks from Rosa to Dagmarr. The Damphir's presence had definitely done a world of good for their friend, and judging how close they were she was sure that Rosa had been able to open up to at least Dagmarr, so at least she wasn't holding it all inside. She knew that from her own experience it sometimes took a little time to be able to trust people enough to be open with them.
Shaking the thoughts from her head she just says, "Well, it's good that you're not there anymore then. We can never really know the "why" of everything, but we all end up where we're supposed to be, when we're supposed to be there. Know what I mean?"

Dagmarr |

Rosa gives Dagmarr's hand a kiss as they head off to their hostesses house, "Yeah, sure we're gonna be fine. Right love?" She looks up at Dagmarr and gives her love a smile. She could deal with anything life threw at them, as long as Dagmarr was with her.
Smiling back down at her love, Dagmarr nods. "We'll definitely be alright love" she answers.
"Yes, it's called snow. At least in some worlds, there are regions in the north and south that have mostly cold weather. In places like that, there's snow everywhere."
As Rosa talks about where she is from, the cleric squeezes her hand in support, leaning over to kiss her forehead as she slips an arm around her love, offering in comfort.

GM Henry Fortuna |

Temperance opens the door to Arista's and waits for everyone to enter before following. Arista's home is fairly sparse, though a great oak table occupies the dining room. You see a sullen youth sitting near the head of the table, while the winged woman puts food out on the table. There are boiled potatoes, cabbage and some small portions of chicken set out on the table.
Arista looks to the group. "Please, seat yourselves."
