OK, can Rish, Ujarak and Cyriphrain please roll initiative, please. Any damage they might have incurred from combat hitherto is negated by a swep of the DM's healing wand. Ujarak and Cyriphrain still took the damage they incurred getting from the ship to the shore, and have had their gear taken away in the same manner as before (i.e. if you don't wear it, you don't have it). Rish has incurred no damage at all, and has his full gear.
The situation of Urarak and Cyriphrain is quite similar to the one they were in before, except that they woke up with Delmar as well, and Blythe was hauled in later with a nasty head wound. Blythe also let slip to Ujarak and Cyriphrain that:

These might be useful, ignore if they are unnecessary.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28

I am unclear as to my status at this time. Ujarak and Cyriphrain should probably plan their actions because I may not really be in the fight yet.

OK, so the disposition of the new PCs is as follows:
Rish is on the map now. He's been hiking through the woods on his inscrutable elven business when he's heard the sounds of combat. He's sneaked down the stream and now he's got to where he is now, ready for action. He hasn't been spotted by anyone.
Ujarak and Cyriphrain are in Hut 5. The exit opens out to U7 or V7, and in order to get out you must crawl. Inside the hut are Cedric and a few other sailors (much like your previous situation). Blythe and Delmar have both made a break for it - the two warriors (now one warrior) were guarding the hut but were distracted by the arrival of Lheorvine, Ishmex and Grulorg.
A note on the map (a reprise for those who did not get the detailes earlier, spoilered so as not to intrude, not because of secrecy):
The light blue is the sea. About 5' in it is difficult terrain, further than that you have to swim. The dark blue is the stream, which counts as difficult terrain.
The brown blobs are the huts, and the black squares marked 'C' are coracles. The tunnel mouth is also marked.
Rish, then Ujarak, then Cyriphrain.

Interesting.
Unsure of the situation he's stumbled upon, the lone elf waits and observes.

Cyriphrain takes an AoO from V3
1d20 ⇒ 10 to hit, damage 1d6 ⇒ 1
We'll asssume Ujarak is delaying.
The villagers gabble in their incomprehensible tongue as they attack.
V1 attacks Blythe, V2 and V3 attack Cyriphrain
V1 1d20 ⇒ 1 to hit, damage 1d6 ⇒ 1
V2 1d20 ⇒ 20 to hit, damage 1d6 ⇒ 6
V3 1d20 ⇒ 2 to hit, damage 1d6 ⇒ 5
Potential crit from V2
1d20 ⇒ 2 to confirm, extra damage 1d6 ⇒ 5
Blythe, Grulorg, Lheorvine
Blythe Merovingian |
Swatting the villagers attack aside, Blythe looses a kick at the knee of her assailant, before stepping between Delmar and Cyriphrain, giving him a look. "We've got this, stay in the tent!"
Grulorg Titian |
Initially Grulorg was wary of starting a battle with an entire village full of people, after all, if they were friendly why slay those who can assist you? It is clear though that these people are warlike, well Grulorg was warlike too if only his earthbreaker had not been lost at sea...
The half-orc draws back on his bow and fires at the villager attacking BM, he trusted Lheo and Ish to take down the last of their present fighters.
Compound Longbow 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 - Damage 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
.....
Kaerishidlon Greenbriar |
Curious. These are obviously outlanders fighting locals, but they seem to be coming out of the tents. If they are hostile, how did they get into the tents? What's the story here?
Lheorvine Ukris |
"What the hell? Did you just bite me?"
No move. I'm attacking W2 using Power Attack.
Perception on the cave opening: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Attack: 1d20 + 10 - 1 ⇒ (19) + 10 - 1 = 28, Damage: 1d8 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 2 = 12
EDIT: Oooooh, potential critical! The last +3 damage is from my Killer trait.
Attack: 1d20 + 10 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 10 - 1 = 29, Extra damage: 2d8 + 14 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 1) + 14 + 4 + 3 = 26
EDITEDIT: Noice! As the falcata is a x3 crit weapon, the total damage is 38. If she goes down I take a 5' step to AH 8.

Blythe kicks the villager in the leg and he cries out in pain. Grulorg's shot thuds into the turf roof of the hut nearby. But Lheorvine's blow connects with the warrior's neck and both he and his head, separately, thud on to the shingle.
W2 down in emphatic fashion. Your Perception check doesn't reveal much at the moment.
Delmar, Ishmex.
Delmar Ruth |
Delmar ignores Blythe, and decides to try and split things up a bit.
move action to stand, another move action to move to W12

** spoiler omitted **
You don't have to spoiler your moves and dice rolls. In fact, I prefer it if you don't, as I might miss something if it is hidden.
Anyway, thanks, map updated.
Kaerishidlon Greenbriar |
This won't affect anything Ishmex might do, so I'll post out of order. Kaerishidlon will study the scene, trying to determine what's going on (other than the obvious conflict, of course). He also wants to know if there are any signs of villagers in the huts on the west side of the settlement.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Depending on what he sees, he may also move.
Blythe Merovingian |
Duly noted on the spoiler. I tend to like hiding ooc and dice, as it keeps the narrative up front, and the mechanics underneath, allowing players to focus on story and characters, not rules and rolls. But I'll keep them unspoilered from now on.

Kaerishidlon Greenbriar |
If they aren’t out fighting, perhaps they are non-combatants.
Kaerishidlon carefully crosses the stream and moves up behind one of the huts where he can see better. To K5, please. He doesn’t have a weapon ready yet as he doesn’t want to appear a threat when he doesn’t know who’s who.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed |
Cyriphrain swings at the nearest villager but his opponent ducks back just in time. However, rather than return the blow, the villagers see the second warrior fall and look at each other uncertainly. One of them gabbles in his language at Blythe and Cyriphrain.
Initiatives:
Ujarak 17+
Cyriphrain 17
Villagers 16
Blythe 12
Grulorg 11
Lheorvine 10
Warriors 9
Delmar 7
Ishmex 5
Rish 4
Blythe, Grulorg, Lheorvine, Delmar.
Blythe Merovingian |
"STOP!" Blythe yells to all her companions, seeing the villagers hesitation. She holds her hands up in front of her, palms forward. "I think they don't want to fight."
Blythe will ready an action if she is attacked to strike her attacker.
Delmar Ruth |
Delmar pauses, a brand readied to throw, but waits at Blythe's command.
Hold until Blythe is attacked/starts fighting for now.
Blythe Merovingian |
Blythe shakes her head at the villager. "I'm fair certain he's trying to sell me a puppy. Does anyone understand what he's trying to say?"
Sense motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12.
Kaerishidlon Greenbriar |
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Ah! Here's something! I hope I can get away with breaking into the action since this group's combat is on hold...
Rish steps out of hiding, in view of the outlanders, hands raised to show they are empty. Moving toward the paused skirmish, he offers, "He's asking for help. Unfortunately, I don't know the local language, either, but I believe that's what he's trying to say."
Blythe & Co. Stepping from behind one of the huts is an elf in simple traveling clothes and no apparent armor. He carries a longbow and wears a dagger at his belt, but looks less like a warrior than a scholar though he does seem physically fit enough. He has the slender build common to the elven people, but being relatively short makes him look very young, even for a race that ages so slowly. His voice carries a confidence, however, that leads you to believe him to be much older than he appears.
Long hair flows down past his shoulders and does nothing to disguise his prominent ears. The hair is an earthy brown in color, but seems to have a slight tint of green to it. His skin appears to be very tan.
Not presuming more than a 5' step to get into view, but he will walk toward the skirmishers if allowed.
Kaerishidlon Greenbriar |
Rish, hands still raised, shrugs apologetically. "If I told you the name of the island, it would do you little good, warrior."
"My name is Kaerishidlon Greenbriar. If you wish, call me Rish."
Delmar Ruth |
I should really have taken some languages....
"Blythe, play nicely. We are going to be lucky to get out of this alive as it is. Perhaps this elf can help us? Nice to meet you Rish, but ahh, this is a bit of a stressful situation at the moment." Delmar calls across the beach.
Kaerishidlon Greenbriar |
"Aye, I noticed." He approaches slowly, still maintaining a nonthreatening posture. Keeping his expression as friendly as he can and focused on the natives, he speaks to the outlanders, "If you don't know where you are, how did you come to be fighting in this village? You don't appear to be locals."
Grulorg Titian |
Grulorg slings Lheo's bow over his should and stops by the body of the fallen warriors to retrieve one of their clubs for use, Not my earthbreaker but it will have to do.
He then begins to pluck the arrows that he shot that missed from the ground, Why waste em and tries to look generally imposing to the remaining villagers.
He lets the rest of the group do the talking at this point.
"Damn Lheo, I need more bow practice, I was lucky I hit the ground with some of these shots..."
Delmar Ruth |

"We were shipwrecked, and woke up captives. It makes you a little fractious."
