Goliath knows they are easy to kills as he makes the knowledge check. And they'd be weak against fire, but, heroes take out all six in no time flat. The traveler speaks to you. So far we haven't had any trouble. The children in the background cheer and clap.

Halros |

Halros takes a deep breathe and relaxes for a brief moment. A few seconds of calm pass over him before he answers the Goliath.
"I am fine. Such pesky creatures! I am always surprised to see them in such arduous climates"

Tulgram Coldforge |

- Ha ha! Look, boys! Learn! That's how strong men should act. White snow became red snow as soon as someone dared to threaten us!
Tulgram noisily and greedily inhales the air through his nose, as if enjoying the combination of the smell of blood and snow in the wildness.
- I like our company so far! Ye're as ferocious as grizzlies! Father Frost, bless 'ese warriors!

DoubleGold |

The party then rests for the night and she asks her boy to get firewood for the night as it is really cold. Mind if my boy gets firewood for the night?

Perception: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (15) + 0 = 15
Uthred nods, "Tis true that every man must plough his own furrow. Only idlers wait till evening. However, many hands make light work."
Uthred motions to Tulgram to follow him, the beast, and the boy.
"Come help me and the boy, Wood Dwarf. No lamb for the lazy wolf."

Tulgram Coldforge |

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
- Aye, dwarves don't know laziness. I’ll go with ye!

Halros |

Seeing the boy head off, Tulgram and Saber with him- Halros looks around at the rest of the camp.
He finds a rock or other somewhat elevated position and takes a meditative watch over the area.
Taking 10 on perception: 23

DoubleGold |

The edge of the trees are 35 feet away and as you all know this and Tulgram goes with him, the person or creature runs away. He was at least 10 feet back from the edge. You all then hear howling wolves about 70 feet away or so circling the camp. The person is still running away the sounds getting more faint as he moves away. Those of you at the camp can't hear the sounds anymore, those of you going with the child are just close enough to hear the bristling of leaves and branches as he runs. what now?

Tulgram Coldforge |

- No chance of me catching up with him. A werewolf? White direwolf? Damn, let's go to camp, boy.
He's going to go to the camp with the boy

Halros |

Halros steps forward, flanking the group of civilians gathered by Goliath, and draws his blade. He looks quickly over the assembled people- taking a mental account of everyone who has been traveling with the group he calls out to no one in particular.
"Is everyone accounted for? Who are we missing?"
Just to make sure I am clear- we are hearing noises from around the camp. Tulgram and Saber are with the boy while Goliath and Halros are with the assembled others inside the camp. Is there anyone (or thing) that we are missing?

Uthred son of Uthred |

Uthred whips out a wand and taps his mouth with it. He then whistles for his falcon, Wingtip, to follow the intruder at an altitude of 300 feet, circling into the skies if the intruder stops, while shrieking at the top of its small bird lungs.

Uthred son of Uthred |

I'll take a falconry gauntlet and a potion of CLW! :) Uthred will also teach the falcon to land on the two other PCs who take the other two gauntlets, for messages, deliveries, and stuff.

DoubleGold |

You all get a good nights sleep. Long rest The next day you continue to head out and the tracks are still someone fresh, as it hasn't snowed on top of the tracks.

Uthred son of Uthred |

Uthred casts raiment of command at the beginning of the day.

Goliath Maul |

Once the camp has been broken down Goliath says, "Let's get moving. In this snow we will be easy to track so we should watch are back. Ulthred if you could motivate us with an Ulfen song we may be able to cover more ground in a day than anyone following us."

Uthred son of Uthred |

Ah yes, I forgot I had this power! :P
Uthred begins to sing a song of marching.
Will maintain the song the whole day i.e. 8 hours which will count as two travel days total... neat!
Song of Marching (Su) At 3rd level, a skald can use raging song to inspire his allies to move faster without suffering from fatigue. By expending 1 round of raging song, the skald invigorates allies within 60 feet, who may hustle for the next hour; this movement counts as a walk (not a hustle) for the purpose of accruing nonlethal damage and fatigue. The skald must continue to perform the song for the remainder of the hour, otherwise its effects end, but only 1 round of raging song is expended for that hour.

Halros |

"Rightful observation, Goliath. I will hold the position of rear guard, if you are amenable. Perhaps Saber would make a good forward scout"
Woah. That IS a nice power!

Tulgram Coldforge |

Tulgram walks with the children, telling them different stories about mighty heroes and ferocious northern beasts, who bows thear heads before the mighty Deathless Frost in the end of each story. It sounds instructive, praising the courage and superiority of male warriors over everyone else, but still a little creepy.

DoubleGold |

Who is going to make the survival to follow the tracks? They are only fresh for so long. Or are you just going to continue on the trail and ignore the tracks. How are you approaching? Obviously you are able to get there faster.

Goliath Maul |

I thought the tracks we saw were ours. I miss understood. If the group wants we can check the track before we leave.

Uthred son of Uthred |

My PC has zero tracking skills - all he can do is speed us up.

Halros |

I, too, have little in the way of tracking skills. Character oversight, perhaps.

DoubleGold |

Goliath tracks them through the woods and at the end of the tracks after moving on three miles is a bandit though much stronger than the other three you fought, a winter wolf much stronger, 2 worgs, and four falcon feathered companions. You are all at the edge of the clearing and the campsite is 20 feet away.

He speaks some arcane words- and taps himself with the wand just after Uthred starts to speak. Shield
