New rules have some pretty significant changes ... rebuilt the Keg in the new Hero Lab. Warning, the playtest one will disappear once you purchase the live one.

Its going to take a little time to read through the whole rulebook, or at least the most pertinent chapters to run the game. I made a bit of a mistake -- I ordered the physical books thinking the PDF would be included (its not). The PRD is up and available here for everyone.
I'd like to switch to the PF2 rules ASAP, mainly so that we're not lurching across essentially 2 editions. We can hold up the game a little until we're all up to speed.
I know everyone is scattered at the moment at GenCon or summer vacations, so no pressure or hurry, but when you get a chance, please read through your character chapters and make any updates to the current edition. Hopefully a significant rebuild isn't required, but its understandable if you feel its needed.
For everyone's education, please post what's changed here so we can get up to speed on the new stuff.

Resolve is gone. Looks like touch AC is gone as well.
Clerics track to warpriest or clergy. Warpriest gets shield and armor profs, and clergy gets domains.
Heal spell is better. 1 action touch stays the same. 2 action does 1d8+8+Wis to individual. 3 actions does 1 action to all. Keg has ability to make those 1d10s now.
Channels are 1+Chan so Keg will move to get 12 Cha, reducing wisdom and dex.
Dwarves have some more racial traits and feats so I swapped those a bit.
Enabled a warhammer to replace the club.
Looks like backgrounds now add a skill feat. I dont recall that from playtest.
My saves are higher now but I havent identified what the change was (even with the reduced ability scores).
Skipping the other classes and starting to read the remaining chapters.

Magic item investiture which has been changed to a limit of 10 investiture required magic items per character.

Looks like backgrounds now add a skill feat. I dont recall that from playtest.
My saves are higher now but I havent identified what the change was (even with the reduced ability scores).
Expert is now L+4 instead of L+3 which prob raised your save. I did have a skill feat from my background previously, but don't recall if that was special for that background. Anyway, switched my background and a fighter feat since there are more choices now, but that's really it.

Aid is more difficult and more ambiguous. You describe how you want to aid, the DM sets a DC (nominally 20 and skill/attack.roll.reqd) and the other guy gains a +1 on a success or scaling critical.success based on proficiency.

Oooh, here is a change. Wands are 1/day usage now. Can use a second time with a flat (no modifiers) DC10 roll. Failure means it's destroyed.
Also, added the spell vital beacon. Which turns the caster into a "touch me and you get healed a lot" for 3 rounds.

Fair enough in the initiative actions. It looks PF2 has dropped the surprise round and that makes things a little awkward for ambush encounters. In PF1, PCs roll for perception and initiative and only those that make the perception check could go on their initiative in the surprise round. PF2 melds those rolls so it's slightly different.
In this case, I'd prob have made the higher perception rollers aware of the spider as it began to act so they could resolve their action before it went e.g. spotting the hatch in the side of the pit pop open and long, pale arachnid legs dart out. my 2 sp.

As I read the rules, you probably shouldve used its stealth as its initiative then it wouldve gone first and all wouldve made sense.

Hey, I've been running a little slow because the 'official' PF2 PRD (the Archives of Nethys one) is nigh un-usable. Navigating it is a huge chore, and half the time I can't find the rule I'm actually looking for. Creatures are only half-statted out in some cases. The bizarre layout has bothered me since Paizo dropped the PRD from their own site.
So I've had to check my physical books, which I'm not used to (and I won't be taking them on the road for work).
Anyway, THIS SITE seems to be a lot more user-friendly in layout and content.

I dont understand why the Archives of Nethys changed the order from the books. That part makes no sense. It took me 30 minutes to find the action list because of that.
On a positive note; for PF1 whenever I needed a stat for a magic item it was always on the AoN site. So eventually once they get everything in, it should be a robust database.

Might explain why some of my bonuses seem low? IDK.
Got Bravery for a will save boost to Expert.
Took Expert in Athletics.
Feat: maybe Intimidating glare? nothing is really calling me.

Fast Healer (or maybe fast recovery?)
It allows me to heal double from rest and reduce condition effectiveness. Personal only though.

I'm still figuring out the magic weapon runes. Sounds like one rune gives a bonus to hit (maybe that's where masterwork went), another rune gives an extra damage die, and other runes give special abilities like flaming. So the dagger is just +1 to hit?
Rodi is welcome to it though Mikos is eying the rune for his Aldori sword should it ever be found.

Passive is carrying bulk. And actively to ignore 8 bulk object for 1 round and can even "break it loose" forcefully.
