What is discouraging me is that they are posting updates so fast. I understand they want feedback on different ideas, but it pretty much makes pbp useless for playtesting.

Sorry! I was totally waiting for someone else to chip in but seems like no one did so no updates. I totally understand the sentiments on the updates, and am impartial to if we continue or stop here. I totally understand the discouragement of continuing when the party is not there.
GM, your post were great! I would certainly join you again for playtest if you're going to continue as a GM. My general experience is that PBP games after a certain timeframe (>6 weeks) lose momentum. How I manage it, whether players like it or not, by hook or crook I provide daily updates to keep to try to keep games within a 6 week timeframe and treat no post as standing idly/not participating, which can sometimes result in punishment. I have resulted in kicking players out if they don't comply to posting requirements, but that's on the rare side. It might not be great on the player experience side sometimes, but I feel it's a necessary sacrifice to ensure the game runs. Not everyone likes my style, but those who do will come back as they like the consistency. So it's a give and take..
To be honest, I'm hoping to jump into a lvl 5 game and trying higher levels out!!

I'm going through all my checklists of things to pack, and affairs to get in order - and I've almost forgotten my PbP games!
I'll be away from the 4th to the 12th, and I will be in the bush for five of those days - if I get a cell signal, I might be able to check in, but for the most part, I will be off-grid.
I'll be on cell only, and data will be sparse, so my role as GM will certainly be diminished. But if I can get online, I will certainly endeavour to update my games.
I apologize to everyone for the somewhat last-minute ball-drop.

Sorry everyone. The end of year is a very busy time of year for me. First it was making sure the gameday games were pushing to a close, then it was Thanksgiving, now it is getting ready for Christmas and the end of the year at work. I haven't had the time to participate in this game and likely won't have time until after the new year, so I probably should just withdraw from this game.
GM zebeev has done a great job with this, but I'm also not really feeling PF2 right now.

Thanks again for running. Sorry I lost interest near the end. If there is anything to report for me my number is 2608-1501
