Rosie steps around the pillar and punches the blue goblin in the face, then kicks him in the privates!

Moving up to stand next to Toban, Jastrokan launches a paintbrush at one of the goblins, but it clatters against the wall as it misses.

Rosie leaps out from behind the pillar and strikes the Blue Goblin in the chin and then with a painful kick, she drops it out of the fight.

Burnt by Toban's acid, growls and swings her long pole-arm around in a dazzling display of weaponcraft that tends to demoralize those who can see her.

Intimidate, dazzling display to demoralize: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16

The DC for demoralizing is 10+HD+Wis mod with the number to beat 16 or greater. I think that affects everyone who can see Inoklar, and is within 30' which looks like everyone but Narissiel and Sekell. Tell me if you beat a 16...If you are demoralized, you are shaken for one round, or more if you fail the DC by 5 or more.

Toban moves forward and attacks the leader with his glaive.

Toban leans forward, getting ready to step up and make an attack on Inoklar. Just before he does, he notices something odd about the stonework ahead, seeing that it is a large pressure plate. Thinking twice, the gnome holds his position.

Sekell opens fire on the bugbear once again, stepping forward to get a little better shot. He lines it up well and Inoklar soon has a feathery shaft sticking out between her ribs.

Narissiel tries to follow suit, but her shot is wide of the mark.

Despite being shaken by the elite combat performance of the Marauder's capo, Rosie does a series of tumbling moves to end up behind the remaining goblin without drawing an attack.

Flanking now, Jastrokan stabs at the goblin with one of his brushes, but the gnome's demoralization causes him to hesitate just enough for a miss.

Despite her injury, Inoklar still comes on, circling around the trap and dodging the attack by Toban. She brings her own reach weapon to bear, slashing at the sorceror. The powerful muscles of the over-sized bugbear really put some force behind this attack, and in one blow, Toban is cut down, dropping unconscious to the stone floor.

Toban takes 15 dmg on 9 (or 10) hp. Either way, he is unconscious and bleeding.

"Eeek!" Jastrokan shrieks as his eyes widen. "Not the future I had in mind!" He grabs onto Toban's hand and drags him off to safety!

I want to grab onto Toban and drag him across the room. I don't know how far I can go, though. Maybe to the question mark I put on the map? If I happen to have an extra action, which I don't think I do, then I will pull out Toban's healing wand.

And yes, I had a great Christmas! But Toban did not have good luck!

Seeing Toban fall, Narissiel frowns. It's a rare thing, for the normally calm and happy elf to frown. She believed that with patience, most things would work themselves out in the end. She could outlast. But this? Some of the gnome siblings falling in front of the others...? That was... She was...

She was angry.

She moves into the way, placing herself between the Tangletops and the enemy -- but careful to stay out of the reach of the bugbear's polearm -- and fires her bow at the bugbear.

Toban's natural healing closes the great wounds left on him by Inoklar's polearm, and while still unconscious, at least he is stable.

Sekell takes aim at the bugbear leader, firing an arrow at point-blank distance. He grins as another white-feathered shaft drives deep into the hip of the Marauders' evil leader.

Narissiel follows suit, moving in close and firing at Inoklar, hitting her once again to good effect.

Rosie's fisticuffs with the remaining goblin are entertaining to watch, but she fails to land a single telling blow.

Jastrokan gathers up his fallen brother and begins dragging him out of harm's way, pulling him back across the floor as far as he can.

I will let you drag Toban half your move speed. So one move action to grab him, and another to move him half distance. No actions left to grab the wand right now.

Roaring with pain and frustration, Inoklar grabs a potion from her belt pouch and consumes it, healing some of her various wounds. She takes a small step towards Narissiel, bringing her in range of the long horsechopper.

Sekell continues to fire at the big goblinoid leader, hitting her again and elicting a satisfying grunt of pain.

Narissiel follows the human archer with her own bow, adding another feathered shaft to the several already sticking from the bugbear's thick hide.

Rosie's flurry of punches finally lands one on the point of the goblin's head, wounding it a bit, but not driving it from the fight.

Jastrokan taps Toban with a healing wand, and the gnome cook's eyes flutter open, as he slowly wakes from a dream of baking...

Wounded, but determined, Inoklar closes the distance between herself and Narissiel and slashes at the elf with her long horsechopper. A long ugly well of blood opens up down the side of the elf's torso as the steel blade bites down hard.

Narissiel takes 8 but could've been much worse.

"Thanks, brother," Toban says as he bends down to pick up his weapon. Then he takes a five-foot step forward and slashes his glaive at the red goblin. (or if red is defeated by Rosie he doesn't move forward and attacks the leader instead)

Moving around the pillars, Sekell lines up a little better shot on the bugbear chief. The shot pierces her through the neck , and she staggers ready to die.

Narissiel's stab with the leaf blade also scores a serious hit on the failing Inoklar and she falls dead at your feet.

Rosie's face punch on the last goblin, who looks stricken as his chief goes down in a heap, scores a hit and with a bony crunch, he also falls endign the fight.

With Inolkar's defeat, any remaining goblins in the compound scurry for the hills, leaving you free to explore a bit more. In the next room behidn the audience chamber you find Inoklar's bedchamber .

In a chest in her chambers, you find much of the loot stolen by the Nightsoil Maruaders including emblems and tokens of other rival crime organizations like a black onyx miniature scale stolen from the Night Scales, several Varisian scarves and knives taken from the Sczarni thugs, an ornamental fist of Desna flich from the Gallowed, a broken klar that belonged to a Shoanti gang leader and, most importantly, a golden Aspis Consortium badge.

You also find detailed plans on how she planned to use these incriminating trinkets to start a gang war between the rivals, including the Pathfinder Society and the Aspis, and sit back and watch strengthening her position as her foes were bled white fighting each other.

With its leadership disrupted the Nightsoil Marauders quickly disband back into small tribal groups that basically act like the chaotic nincompoops you would expect. Returning the gangs trinkets to the Society allow them to improve relations with various underworld factions but the Aspis badge is reserved for a future Pathfinder operation.

Jastrokan spends his time after the mission painting the many beautiful sights in Magnimar. He especially likes to paint things that are hard to get to, but beautiful. Eventually, when his family leaves, he goes with them. But maybe they'll stick around in Magnimar for a while first. He's not sure.

But, he sure did have fun on his first mission!

After the fight Toban takes care of everybody's wounds. He gives his siblings a big hug and invites everybody back to their Pathfinder house for a celebratory feast!
