No AoO...I was not threatening due to slow spell...still too far away, and I threw both hand axes I had.

Dasim's eyes flutter open as he recovers consciousness. Pain still lances through several parts of his body, but he senses the most lethal damage is healed or at least under control for the moment. Stifling a pain-filled moan, he gets to his feet and sees the wizard is still trying to flee. Unable to run after the man for the moment, he grabs one of the small darts stashed in his belt and flings it toward the running caster.

Seeing their enemy trying to escape, Magmoria moves forward to stand beside Dasim. As he throws his dart, she throws her final enchanted stone.

The fire burns the man's feet as he runs away. He flinches as Dasim's dart pings off the wall next to him but is felled by Magmoira's magic stone.

Mags moves forward to search the body of the fallen mage, but also to look down his escape tunnel for any 'nasty' surprises.
Ziyad inspects what must be the "Delvers" looking for clues...
Investigation: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

Down the "escape tunnel", you don't find anything of interest. It seems to end about 60 feet into the tunnel at a cave in. The man carries four, foot long spindles of iron like two long four sided pyramids joined at the base. If struck, they make a specific tone.
Remind me, is anyone from the area? The area being north sword coast ish?
Inspecting the skeletons, you find that none of them are intact. Each has a crushed limb or rib cage. All injuries that would be consistent with mining accidents.

Rrath is, but from the hills as a barbarian, then caravan guard up and down the trade way.

Moving gently so as not to reopen any wounds, Dasim looks around the room with the odd floating stones to what might be causing such an odd phenomenon, but finds little of use.
Investigation: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Dasim is from the south, so not a local.

Magmoria is from the area, but more the rural lands and not the cities, if that matters.
Ziyad is from Thay of course, just recently arrived in the west...maybe a month or 3.
Noticing the sticks, Ziyad draws one forth listening to the resonance. "Song magic, perhaps..."
From his sleeve comes an owl feather and Ziyad seems to gently dust the surface before applying an expensive pearl to his eye, like a magnifying glass, to examine deeper into the object.Identify, ritual cast

Rrath, from your time spent with the caravans you recognize the iron spindle on the man as a trade bar from Mirabar. Each is worth 5 gp.
Also on the man is a glaive and splint armor.
| SA
In case it wasn't clear, the metal spindle isn't magical.
Hanging around down here? Exploring the tunnel? Going back to the sink hole? So many options!
Male Half-Orc Barbarian (Outlander)(CN)/2, HP 23/30; , AC: 14 , Saves: STR +6 CON +5, Initiative: +0, Passive Perception: 12; Rage Remaining 1/2
This iron spindle here is a trade bar from Mirabar.
Rrath takes the bar.
Anyone need the armor afore we move on? I think we need to check out the tunnel, right?

Magmoria looks at the odd iron object, then shrugs her shoulders.
"Yes, we should examine the tunnel."
Male Human (Rashimi) Monk 2 | HP:15/15 | AC:15 | Init: +3 | Per: 12 | PB: +2
"Agreed. Let's see if there's any other surprises lurking under this peaceful hamlet." Dasim says, following Rrath and Magmoira.

You explore further down the escape tunnel and come across what looks like a caved in area of rubble. Upon closer inspection you notice that you can pick your way through it easy enough without causing a full collapse though you could cause one on purpose by pulling out any of the supporting timbers. Following the tunnel to its end, you find yourselves in a wooden shed attached to the wagon works.

As in the Wagon Works, above-ground, in the town?
| SA
That is correct. The tunnel has a slight rise in elevation all along it and a trap door in the ceiling I forgot to describe.
Ziyad checked back for the old man before moving up out of the tunnel...
If he is still there I want to take him with us
| SA
He is still there and follows behind you. He is a bit timid around the standing stones and is careful to avoid the bones around the room. At the secret door he takes some prodding to go through but follows dutifully.

Magmoria takes charge of the old man as they walk.
"So did you know that fellow we fought? Any idea where this passage will take us?"
She will keep quietly questioning the fellow as they progress.
| SA
He is surprised at the body of the man and looks at the group with a renewed sense of awe (and a little extra fear). "That man is called Larrakh. He was the one that interpreted the movement of the stones for us. I had no idea this tunnel was even here."
Male Human (Rashimi) Monk 2 | HP:15/15 | AC:15 | Init: +3 | Per: 12 | PB: +2
"And who is us?" Dasim asks the man. "It's clear some of the other people in town are involved. My guess is if you help, the sheriff, and others who were injured by your work down here, might be a bit more lenient." Dasim suggests without really knowing how anyone will really react when they learn of the hidden group's activities.

Truth simply growls deeply as he advances, listening to Dasim's words and the odd response.
| SA
"Fine! Fine, just dont hurt me! We call ourselves the Believers. There are a few others in town involved I can point out."
Male Human (Rashimi) Monk 2 | HP:15/15 | AC:15 | Init: +3 | Per: 12 | PB: +2
Dasim nods grimly at the man's confession. "So be it then. Let's get out of this pit and see who else is involved in this trouble." He lightly pushes the man out the door and toward the sheriff's office.
| SA
Assuming you are leaving through the "secret" tunnel.
You make your way back to the surface bringing along your cooperative prisoner. When you finally encounter Harburk ,"So what's all this now? I thought we saw some people in the shadows of that hole that opened up but we couldn't be sure. And what are you all doing with Baragustas?"
Basically hit the high points of what you want to tell him if you dont feel like rp'ing the whole exchange.
