Dasim Dakat |

As soon as the fog drops Dasim steps up and strikes out with his spear and follows that up with a swift kick toward the big humanoids gut.
Spear Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Spear Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Martial Arts Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

GM Natloz |

I'm going to have to be this guy. Because the spell was a readied action it goes off before Dasim ravages the thing.
Tarandil's spell washes over the half-ogre. Is eyelids start to droop but it roars as it shakes off the magic. Dasim on the other hand takes the opportunity to bring the giant to its final sleep with both the spear and the kick landing telling blows.
Round 2:
Ziyad, Crab, Tarandil
Rrath, Magmoira
Big guy
Goblins
Dasim,
Top of round 3 can go too

Ziyad |
Ziyad smirks nervously, suspicious of the goblins absence. He decides quickly felling the leader is best. When bodies were prepared for the Corpsarium in Thay, certain fluids, most notably the fat were siphoned away to a special pocket dimension rather then being burned. It was from this realm Ziyad now conjured forth a field of greasiness, directly underneath the leader. Advance to within 60 ft and cast Grease, brown box on slides.
"Rrath, quickly! Surround him, pen him within the spoiled grass!"

GM Natloz |

Mags stikes squarely in the gut but the force behind it wasn't enough for him to even react (A miss).
dex vs grease: 1d20 ⇒ 15
He begins to laugh at the puny creatures when he's cut off by the grease appearing at his feat. He starts to slip and slide but catches himself before falling over.
anyone heard from Rrath's player lately?

Rrath |

Round 2, Rage 1/10
Rrath steps up with a roar as he flies into a rage and lays into the big fella with a mighty swing of his axe.
GA Att: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
GA Crit Dam: 3d12 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 11, 7) + 4 + 4 = 29

GM Natloz |

And he comes back with a dramatic flare! Crits only double the dice, not the static modifiers though.
Bursting from the crypt doorway, Rrath cuts down the half-ogre before he can recover from slipping in the grease. There is a scream of terror as the goblins flee from their hiding spots nearby into the wilderness as their boss is slain.
So much for the dramatic reappearance of the goblins... 60xp each.

Rrath |

Savage Attacks ads a third due on a crit. I did not double static +4, but I thought additional +2 rage damage also doubled?

Dasim Dakat |

Caught in the center of the spray zone of Rrath's furious attack, Dasim simply blinks for a few seconds as blood drips from his face. Hearing the terror filled screams of the fleeing goblins, he lowers his spear and begins trying to wipe the gore from his face only to realize his clothes are just as soaked.
"Well that appears to be that." He says with a shrug and grin toward Rrath. "Since it seems I am now in serious need of a bath, what say we head back into town?"

GM Natloz |

Apparently this half ogre hasn't had much success in robbing people. Ziyad finds a small bag with five gold pieces in it but little else. The adventures head back down the road to town. The surrounding peacefulness is a stark contrast to their recent experiences at the tomb.
Thought I had posted this earlier. My bad.

Tarandil Moonbrook |

Tarandil casts a prestidigitation spell on Dasim to clean up the blood.
"My friend, part of being a bard is all about style and presentation, even on a moment's notice."
He pauses, a bit concerned. "Shouldn't we pursue those goblins? We thought they had infested the tomb but they had been casing it to ambush us. It seems very suspicious that goblins would be watching abandoned tombs in hopes of waylaying travelers unlike our friendly bandits watching the roads."

Ziyad |
Ziyad nods, engaged with Tarandil's reasoning "Yes...the bones don't quite fit together. What kind of monster, even an exceedingly dull one like these, would choose an abandoned and forgotten tomb as his ambush site...? There must be something further of interest in the area. Can we track them? They are swift but small..."

Dasim Dakat |

"Thank you my friend. That is much better." Dasim says to Tarandil. "Now I won't have to worry about frightening the village children when we get back."
When the bard mentions the goblins, Dasim shrugs. "Now that I'm not covered in half-ogre gore, I'm willing to try and track the little critters. But I might suggest we wait until morning. They've already a good start on us, and they do know how to use darkness to hide or set ambushes."

Magmoira |

Mags looks over the tracks of the little creatures as she speaks.
"Could they have been following us? Or maybe there is more to this tomb than we first suspected?"
Survival (Track): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Dasim Dakat |

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Nodding in understanding, Dasim gathers himself to charge into the glade and strike the goblins down. Unfortunately he suddenly remembers his master preaching something about not using his skills against the weak or harmless. The time it takes to shake off the memory and remember that those goblins have probably earned their doom many times over causes him to be just a few steps behind the others as they rush the unsuspecting creatures.
Spear Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Spear Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Secondary Martial Arts Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
MA Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Ziyad, so sorry to hear about your wife. Hope she starts feeling better soon.

Rrath |

Init: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Surprise Round
Rrath moves in 30 feet and throws a hand axe at the goblin not on fire.
HA Att: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
HA Dam: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Ziyad |
Initiative, Z: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Initiative, Crab: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (16) + 0 = 16
Ziyad drops his light stone into his fiendish crab familiar's pincer, sending it into melee to light the way. Meanwhile Ziyad traces into the Weave the familiar pattern of conjuring forth a deep black pitch, just at the goblin's feet, setting it ablaze with a violent plasma.
Bonfire: 1d8 ⇒ 5 or dex save 14 none, damage repeats at end of turn if still in space

GM Natloz |

Gob A: dex vs Ziyad: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Gob A: wis vs Tarandil: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
Both goblins are quick to react to their pursuers but the one is easy to goad into anger. As he hops away from the fire conjured from Ziyad he is hit full force by the magic from Tarandil.
The other manages to dodge all the attacks from Rrath and Dasim.
Gob init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Mags has a go in surprise round then regular Init.
Ziyad/crab
Goblins 8
Tarandil, Dasim, Rrath
Magmoira?

Magmoira |

oops, sorry thought I had already posted...
Mags, seeing the goblins sprinting away from the confrontation, conjures up a powerful blast of thunder and hurls it at the fleeing creature. (will move so she is within 15' of the creature)
Attack: (CON Save vs. DC-15)
Damage: 2d8 ⇒ (4, 7) = 11

GM Natloz |

dex vs Ziyad: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Once again, the goblin dances out of the fire. This time he lunges at Dasim before scurrying away.
goblin attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Bonus action disengage. He's still within move and attack range.
Tarandil, Dasim, Rrath, Magmoira

GM Natloz |

wis save vs Tarandil: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (18) - 1 = 17
Seeing his partner die let's the goblin ignore Tarandil's insults. The goblin jumps aside as Rrath's axe cleaves the air where the goblin once stood. Unfortunately for him this leaves him directly in the path of Dasim's spear which slices a huge gash along its side.
no bonus unarmed attack? He's still standing at the moment.

Magmoira |

Seeing the creature getting away, Mags surges forward with her enchanted staff and strikes at the fleeing beast.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
