I just had the same problem, and I know the card is valid and has money on it.

Had the same problem last night...

Sent an email to customer service and the message got bounced back to me undelivered. Something is wrong on their end to be sure...

... and i did check my card. No flags on their side. Definitely Paizo.

In case this matters, this was a purchase of a pathfinder society module, using Ubuntu 10.10 and firefox 3.6.16 with flash and java enable (might be the open source java).

*sighs* Glad to see I'm not the only one having this problem. Just for the record, I was trying to buy a PDF with a prepaid Visa money card. I double-checked to make sure I had enough money on to buy what I was looking for and I do.

Here's hoping the problem gets settled soon.

Just tried to buy the PDF for the Inner Sea guide...and BOTH Cards I tried to use failed.

And both have PLENTY of money on them >.>

I don't know if it's useful in terms of tracking down the problem, but I placed an order fine last night using VISA. (Though that was from Australia - maybe you've been caught in the US anti-online gambling net ;)).

I tried last night, from Australia, in fact I just tried again now, still declined. Just an uninformed guess, but I suspect it might have something to do with PDF purchases being handled differently. Was your order print product or PDF only?

Print products charge your card when they ship. PDF purchases charge your card immediately. Of the few customers who have mentioned their purchase type, they've all been PDF only, so far. That's where I suspect there might be a difference in the checkout process, but as I said, just a guess.

Paizo.com has missed out on a LOT of sales.
