"Using children to do your dirty work? Leave now Killian before I crush your mind like a grape. I can see my future Killian. I know I will not die here, do you know yours?"

Mihai will ready an action to cast Mind Thrust 2 if Killian or one of his men approach. I will roll the effects now to get it done.

Mind Thrust: 5d8 ⇒ (3, 7, 7, 1, 2) = 20
Save DC Will 18 half. I am also using Defensive Prognostication to increase my AC by 4 for 2 rounds when I cast it. Spending 2 points of my phrenic pool.

Lambri fires off an arrow at an approaching knight (GraveScratches' choice on a knight other than Killian himself), taking care not to fire into the path of the charging Champion of Balance and his faithful Metara mount.

Firing an arrow, fatigued: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 9 - 2 = 13.

If hit, does Arrow damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8. 19 out of 20 arrows left in quiver.

both the smite and the arrow will miss.
Killian growls and the gauntlet of his armor flash with white hot energy. A glowing Aegis emits from his body almost too bright to look at directly.

For a fraction of a second her focus shrank to her inner self once more and there, amid the shadows, the elf stepped forward once more, the charred hole in his chest still smoking. "Let me out, girrrl, LET ME OUT! I wanna rrrip theirrr corrrpses and drrrink frrrom theirrr warrrm blood! HAAAAAAAAAAAA" The elf's evil and hysterical laugh suddenly stopped as another shadowy figure stepped forward.

Mila had never seen her before but she knew she could trust her. The woman appeared to be an angel with pristine armor, radiating golden light, and above that a white scabbard bearing the holy symbol of Sarat. Her eyes were covered in white linen, soaked in blood, and from her back erupted a pair of feathered wings, both broken in many places. "This man... he claims to hear Sarat... so I shall bring her words directly to him... Let me out, girl, now." Her voice wasn't threatening but the order behind it left no room for doubt or discussion. Mila let her out.

Mila opened her eyes and, in front of her, an ethereal figure formed. It was the woman from her mind... no, from Zephora's core, and now everyone could see and hear her. Differently from her vision in her mind, this time the woman had an ethereal copy of Zephora in her hands.

"Come, heretical... come and get cleansed by the ninth angel of Our Glorious Sarat. Elthariel is my name and the only thing that makes me sad is not being able to lead you myself to Sarat's presence, where you'll be judged by your monstrous sins." Her voice was clear and resembled the chant of a thousand birds and, despite beautiful, was also powerful and compelling. Not a voice to be forgotten. She then attacks Killian.

[dice=Attack (spiritual ally), flanking]1d20+6+2[/dice]
Damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

With her own sword in hand, Mila moves forward, getting close to Killian.

Standard to use Spirit Warrior and then moving forward. The spirit warrior can flank so she will 'summon' it in a position opposed to Radin. Will we be using combat maps?

"This fight has evolved my typical scope already, within just a few seconds it seems...!" He says, an almost amused sense of surprise within his words. He moves up towards Killian with speed, his body twisting and turning with fluidity as he tries to grasp the man.

Seeing that all his companions have moved forward to engage the knights Mihai will release his spell at Killian.

Please see earlier post.

sorry not that familiar with combat maps. I will try to figure something out so that it will enable better tactical combat.
The spiritual ally attack will strike true causing Killian to grunt in pain and lurch forward, out of the range of Shiruba's grab. Just as he is straightening up to prepare to counteract, the full power of Mihai's mind will come crashing into his weary psyche.

Three of the men behind Killian will charge foward to attack with their swords. One will slice the air a split-second too late to catch Mila's shoulder, and the other will thrust his sword only to find no purchase on Mila's armor.
The third of the group underestimates Shiruba's speed and is left fencing with shadows,
Of the three remaining Knights; two will drop swords, draw bows and take aim at Radin and the last will begin chanting.
one of the arrows will strike true inflicting 4 points of damage.
The chant is one that Mihai knows well; it is known among the Calivan as the benediction of bones, a way of absolving a Sarat inquisitor from the blood he is about to spill as it serves the will of the purifier. Sometime the ill spirits must be purged by the cleansing flow of blood so that the faithful may swim in purity.

Apologies about the Easter weekend delays here. Will presume that Killian's bright-shines will be descriptive rather than part of the combat sequence, unless you wish to have us roll our saves.

Squinting her eyes against the bright light emanating from Killian, Lambri keeps her bow upraised in such a position so that she could shade her field of vision against the bright shine. By the Spirits of the Tonah, I can only hope that accursed brightness will hamper our foes as much as it does to us....

When Mila unleashes her blade-born angel against Killian, in addition to the elderly Shiruba rushing towards Killian in very much a non-elderly, physically solid but measured steps of movement, the Wolf-Blooded grimly notes how organized that Killian's minions seemed to have capitalized upon the chaos of battle by splitting their numbers in half with almost a calculated approach although Killian himself seems to have been caught slightly off-guard by the young knight's angel.

Lambri will hastily slide her bow forward against her shoulder, the string of the bow acting as a fastening strap against her armor as a move action, so that it will not interfere against the use of her wolf-fanged falchion as she unsheathes it and starts to move purposefully towards the three knights that have closed in upon Mila and the empty space where Shiruba once stood.

Lambri will move towards the knight that attempted to catch Shiruba so that he won't try to either join in on the attacks towards Mila or seek another target like Mihai.

So in case it wasn't made clear in the earlier post, Lambri will take two move actions in this present round; hopefully she will reach the third unoccupied knight that is on her, Mihai's, and Mila's side.

Noting that the other three knights are opting to target both Radin and Mystery with their arrows, Lambri hopes that Shiruba and the mounted duo will be able to deal with Killian before the trio of knights make their next shots.

"Your arrogance will be your downfall, Killian."

Mihai will look at the 2 knights trying to shoot arrows at Radin.

"You attempt to shoot a knight in the back. For your cowardice you shall FALL."

Miahai will cast the command spell with the 'Fall' command at 1 of the knights. Will save dc is 17. If he fails then he goes prone and cannot stand for 1 round.
