Penith will back away and try to crush it with something or another.

With Atajay's arrow and Domeric's knife the creature falls.
Inside the library are several items of note.
Many of the books relate to matters within Ustalav. There are several printed copies of publications Lowls has written himself such as:
A History of the History of Versex
The Stars are Not Among Us: An Undeniable Refutation of the Works of the Doomsaying Psuedo-Scholar Dr Henri Meirtmane.
There are a number of research books regarding dreams and how to manipulate them. These books discuss methods by which an individual can choose to appear in someone else' dream. Notes and marked pages indicate that Lowls was using dreams as a method of research, wherein he would project his consciousness into a realm known as the Dreamlands to meet with people and creatures there. One such figure is someone he refers to as the Mad Poet, who offered to show him the way to a forgotten city in return for sacrificing his assistants minds.
On top of some crates is a letter signed by someone called Miacknian Mun which says, "It seems that the Mad Poet you met in your dream journey was right. The book you seek, the Necronomicon, is located in a special collection called the Mysterium in the Qadiran city of Katheer, though it is written in Necril. If you can find a way to retrieve it and bring it to me I can certainly help you translate and research it. I look forward to seeing you again, my old friend."
A rug near the southeastern wall conceals a locked hatch in the floor.
Lowls' journals contain full details of a ritual to enter the Dreamlands.

Atajay |

”This Lawls is truly insane. A ritual to enter someone’s dreams? Miacknian Mun? We need to keep following this thread to its end.”

Penith SomethingAnother |

Penith nods, "And yet we worked for him." she sighs, still frustrated that she has no idea why. "Miacknian Mun was mentioned in some of his other documents, if I remember correctly. Guess that means he's important. Are we going down that hatch?"
Penith will listen at it first, to make sure there isn't a huge mouth beast breathing right under it, look for traps, and then back away to pick it from a distance, or at least try to.

Senn Nal |

"The more we know the worse this all seems. Trevor is in bad shape though I think we need to take the night and come back in the morning. Once we are done with this place we can burn the house and try to heal this madness that has infected us."

Penith SomethingAnother |

"But I just..." Penith protests and then sighs, locking the trapdoor back, and then shuffling off 'home' with the others.

Senn Nal |

"I'm sorry Penith we appreciate your work but Trevor does not seem like himself. He seems like he lacks his normally vital constitution. We may also be able to pop into town get some stuff. Let's grab what we can from the fancy guest house on the way out."
I have all the stuff on the loot sheet already.

Atajay |

Yep, Let’s carry all our treasure back to the cave and come back tomorrow. There can’t be much left of the ‘dungeon,’ I wouldn’t think.

Domeric |

”Well, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results...” Domeric said, ”Might be that healing our broken minds as best we can and equipping ourselves better before heading back in would be a good idea. Our enemies have likely prepared for our return as well now.”

Senn Nal |

"I can scout it mansion to see if reinforcements have arrived. It seems like the people there have taken the barricade themselves in rather than the call for help approach. It is possible they are as insane as we are."
There is a brief pause as she considers, "I do not seem a lot of people acting rationally right now. If we assault day after day they may be too afraid to leave assuming an ambush. If we give them a break they may get brave and try to go for help."
"I think we need to gear up for one final assault on the mansion. We have gained valuable information about Lows but I believe there is more to be found."

Senn Nal |

So we go to town, gear up in a dramatic montages. Before heading back to the mansion.
Senn will send the eagle again to check that things are as they left then.
If they are Senn will put a patinum ring on Trevor's finger and cast shield other.
"I will be taking half the damage that come to you from now on."

Atajay |

Lesser Restoration 1d2 ⇒ 1
Lesser Restoration 1d2 ⇒ 1
Atajay tries to calm Trevor’s erratic behavior.
I think Trevor had the most damage, didn’t he? If not, substitute the next most damaged.

Penith SomethingAnother |

Penith stays watchful as the others shop, not sure who is going to jump out and try and kill them next. She suspects the old person behind the counter in the shop. SHE IS WATCHING HIM.
Other than that she's good today, and is ready to attack that mansion until every last bad thing in it is rooted out and taught a lesson.

Senn Nal |

Senn has her familiar scout the mansion. To her surprise, the bird comes back talking (just to her) and does not communicate in hops and dances.
If there are no notable new developments they had back to the room and check out the trap door Penith deftly unlocked.
"See your hard work did not go to waste."

Penith SomethingAnother |

"Unless they noticed I had unlocked it, and filled the otherwise empty space below with unspeakable horrors." Penith mutters at Senn's optimism. Then gives a tired, sorry, smile and gets down to listen, ear on the wooden door, to see if anything has changed.

Silver sickle will cost 26 gold pieces, can it be taken out of the group founds as Penith's purchase?

You head up the stairs. Nothing disturbs you on the way. You get up to the second floor and the door opens into the attic. This large attic area has a slanted ceiling supported by wooden trusses, beams and rafters. The ceiling slopes down from the highest beams in the middle to the lowest on the perimeter, where several ugly, fibrous plants sprout from clay pots, barely illuminated by a few dormer windows. The air smells of dust, mould and decay.
In the room are 2 cultists, a blonde woman wearing a chain shirt, a creature that appears to be a pale face framed by glossy black hair hangs in the air, trailing viscera from the ragged stump of its neck like a grisly tail and an elderly woman wearing a black dress.

Cant get to the map this morning. If I can fire without moving, Atajay will take another shot with Rapid Shot, please.

Penith SomethingAnother |

While Penith would like nothing more than to obliterate the eldery woman from the face of the planet, someone attacking the cute and cuddly Bitey is just wrong.
So she attempts to crush her with a clay pot.
