Coincidently, I'm going to have to watch how I describe the results of Notice and Investigate checks for your character, as well.

Yes, after he translates the info into a mental picture, it would be like watching a black and white tv show with all windows and reflective surfaces replaced by featureless walls.

She is my most favorite, favorite character to play, but with 2 other people basically doing her shtick, that's just not gonna happen.

I TOTALLY call the option to bring her in if one of those two upstarts dies!

Okay, new thing. I'll play a...a guy. With me so far? And he uses minions. Like an evil mastermind, right? Except he uses the Summon power, and his minions, get this, this'll be awesome, see his minions are specially trained eagles! Huh? huh? Awesome, right? I know ya I---what? Huh? It's...it's been done before? Ah-huh. Mm-hmm. Right. Something something "tired schtick". Something about "too old and overdone" huh?

Alright I guess I'll just make a butt-kicker then. =) Maybe someone with awe-inspiring power...of guns!

Are there still Toughness saves? How does Toughness work now with hitpoints?


Sorry about that. I really wanted to give the mental powerset a try, and with telekinesis on the table already, I went with someone who was more manipulative than damaging.

No, toughness saves are replaced by a combination of DR and HP. You get HP based on your Con (with some bonus at the start). Basically anything that would give you a bonus to your Toughness Save (aside from Con) now gives DR. Protection can be purchased as Impervious, raising the cost but giving you DR 3 instead of DR 2. Max DR is either 10 (normal) or 15 (Impervious) for our starting PL.


Not to rush anyone with character creation, but I'm going to try to get the first post on sometime this week. The way I'm doing the story I'll be able to add people to scene as their characters get created.

Hi there! Oh wait! I've got an alias and everything! Today was just...kinda nuts.... Still is, actually. I've got...60-odd...of his 75 points spent and I just need to do skills...so I'll...I'll get on...on that....
