Still holding action for light confirmation...

Yes there is now light from Germon's bullseye lantern. They still have 20% concealment because his lantern doesnt go 360 and is more of a flashlight. You will definitely be able to attack one of them though if you wish.

Male Human Gunslinger, 1

Well, I guess I will take a shot...

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

Damage IF hit...

1d8 ⇒ 4

I pull out a weapon from under my coat, level it, and fire; aiming for the nearest of these foul creatures that I can see.

The explosion in tight quarters and in stone tunnels is near deafening... I take a five foot step to get back behind the wall for full cover and start to reload as fast as possible. This is now a Move Action for me with rapid reload, so I should be ready to go soon.

Male to kill the six fingered man Duelist/20 years

You cant take a 5 foot step and a move action. You can only do one or the other.

Concealment if under 20 attack misses 1d100 ⇒ 100

Your shot hits the one that Barrett attacked and he goes down in a heap, dead. You hit him in the face and blow part of his lower jaw and throat away.

Hmm... bad job explaining there. Yes, I am taking the five foot step, but I am re-loading on next round. As I understand it, once the weapon is loaded you can take a five foot step and fire.. though I may have to wait another round (that is, I may have to skip round 2) as part of that time is spent reloading...

My plan is; load and fire, with the 5 foot step for cover. Can I have the weapon reloaded for next round to do that, or will I have to wait to do this once every OTHER round... sorry, just a little confused is all.

If that plan WON'T work, I will reload around the corner, without the five-foot step, and continue to load and fire with using the corner of the wall as partial cover, as I did last round.

Basically the way it will work is you cant load fire and move in the same round. You can do two of the three but not all three. So if you want to reload and fire in one round you cant move at all your whole action is taken up by loading and firing. You can load and move up to your speed thats fine but not load move and fire. I hope that makes more sense.

Indeed! Then I shall move the five foot step for full cover.

Next round reload, and I'll keep my eyes open to see if we're not getting moved on from the tunnel with the tracks.

Nex round (round 3?) I shall use my fully loaded weapon, take the five foot step forward, examine the terrain, then fire again. Presuming any of them are still alive...

Male Half-Orc Monk level 1

For round 2 Logarth will attempt to finish off the hobgoblin that he hit in round one.
Flurry of Blows:
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
If hit:
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
He will hit and open palm strike to the chest and follow up with a roundhouse to the head.

Male Human Cavalier level 1

Germon will attempt to attack the goblin that Logarth is attacking to finish it off. Barrett will attack a fresh foe Assuming the goblins do kill us before our turns

Germon's attack:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 For:1d10 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Barrett's attack:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 For:1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Male Elf Cleric 2

Ah! round 2!

Darnail will finish moving down, his medallion glowing brightly and finally getting within sight of...Lance, reloading his crossbow. Beyond that he will hear Logarth, Germon and Barret fighting things around the corner and out of sight...Sighing in exasperation he will continue moving forward, coming to a stop near where Lance is standing but not yet able to get around the corner.

"How bad is the wound?"

based on the map and elapsed time, with folks moving around the corner and advancing to engage, i think i move up...and then move up again. joy.

Male Human Barbarian 1/Oracle 1

Cael will have moved towards the battle at the first sounds. When he get there he will fire the longbow that he found on the other hobgoblin
Long bow shot 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
ammo used 1/17
Damage1d8 ⇒ 4 plus any strength modifier if applicable.

Cael will then look at the bow with disdain and say Stupid Childs toy as he throws it on the ground and readies the Earth breaker. The look of disgust and anger growing in his face.

Let me know if that was for round 2 or 3. And I am having trouble viewing the map from my phone. I am close enough for a charge in the upcoming round?

Male to kill the six fingered man Duelist/20 years

Good job so far guys!

The Hobgoblins get their turn to go last. Two are dropping their bows and attacking Germon, two are attacking Logarth, and the last one is attacking Barrett.

Hobgoblin 1 on Germon 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 41d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Hobgoblin 2 on Germon 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 101d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Hobgoblin 3 on Logarth 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 91d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Hobgoblin 4 on Logarth 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 61d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Hobgoblin 5 on Barrett 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 41d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Wow you guys lucked out on those rolls lol.

Ok next round. When you post give me your initiative please again.

"Seen better... why, you laying down a bit of healing?"I ask with a bit of a grin. The blood is forming near my hand where the arrow had entered me. It looks bad, healing would be good...

I get hit for 5 points

I continue to reload while talking. I will reroll ini at this time...

I am guessing since there are now only 5 hobgoblins left that I finished off one of them in 2nd round

Male Half-Orc Monk level 1

Getting upset at being attacked by two hobgoblins Logarth gets in the face of the nearest hobgoblin.
Flurry of Blows:
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
If hit:

1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Trying to stagger the hobgoblin Logarth leads with a leg kick to their lead leg followed by a roundhouse to the ribs.
Logarths iniative was a 10.

You miss the first one as the hobgoblin pulls his leg back then he blocks your roundhouse with the outside of his arm.

Two misses

Male Elf Cleric 2

Darnails initiative is a 13.

Round 3 action:

"Indeed, that can be arranged." He will step past Lance enough to see down the hallway.

"Brith's Light warm thy heart and make thee whole again."

Casting CLW on Lance as i'm assuming the other injured are far enough down the hallway and fighting gobbies that i wouldn't have them in the burst of a channel so will save that for post battle patch-up.

1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Just waiting on Cael and Lance then the hobgoblins go.

Male Human Gunslinger, 1

I had placed my post up earlier, specifically at 8:28 AM.

To recap: I am looking for healing from those who offered it (out of characer I mentioned I was hit for 5 points).

Round 2 I am reloading my weapon so that round 3 I can fire.

But you asked for a new Initiative roll, which I made (for an 11).

If it is now round three, and I have been healed for three points, I am not clear where my new Initiative lays me. If it gives me the chance to turn and fire, I shall. If not, I shall wait to next round. Just let me know... the redone Initiative has got me a bit lost :)

Just let me know when I can shoot the little sods!

You can shoot but know that all of the hobs left are in melee of one form or another and your friends are providing cover. So since you dont have precise shot you are suffering a net -8 to your attack to shoot at them. You can move a little bit and shoot if you like and negate the cover but you will still be suffering the penalty for shooting into melee of -4.

Apologies, I didn't know they were beyond the first range increment... in which case I will naturally use a Grit point! Begging the question: does that hit? And the next question (if the first is yes) does it put the nasty down? I didn't declare who I was aiming at, but it would have been one that was already wounded. Just let me know what happens....

With what looks to be an amazing shot, Lance sends a bullet wizzing by Germon's head, nicking his hair, before it explodes through the chest of the hobgoblin you are fighting. There are only two left now!

Male Human Barbarian 1/Oracle 1

Cael bellows a war cry and charges into the fray. Swinging his massive hammer down he obliterates the hobgoblins head and leaves a huge hammer wear his head should be.

For a moment Cael looks winded but regains composure quickly. Upon hearing about the missing children he will say It makes since now but Germon and Lance you need to slow down. You are likely to get yourselves and the children killed. More importantly you might deprive my tribe of their future leader. Slow down or I'll have to give ye a wallop too as he shakes his hammer.

Male to kill the six fingered man Duelist/20 years

I am going to be traveling out of town but I will be able to post at least once or more tonight. Just wanted to let you guys know.

Male Human Gunslinger, 1

Bah! Womanly folk, all of them. There's only one reason to be in this piss-poor hole in the ground, and not out there looking for a safe berth back to my homeland. And why? Because they came running to me telling me that children were missing and they needed help. Well, if the other knew nothing of the objective then that a fool's errand for them to wander in an old mineshaft in the rain. But for myself? I'm here, and there's much to do... like getting home and off this gods's foresaken rock!

I look grimly down to where they are all gathered around by the hobgoblins and wait a moment; but it occurs to me... After the screams and slaughter, being in these caves, it is likely the noise would have carried. If the children heard it, and are alive and un-gaurded they may even now be calling for help. Therefore, I shall listen for their calls.
