Quinray watches Milo begin to drown and grabs the rope and pulls Milo back to the shore. They wrapped the rope around his ankle. How stupid are these companions. Why not the waist.
I wonder if there is an anchor on the other side we can reach. Maybe within bow shot? Oh well. I will be quiet. I know my role here.
Guys that did not seem to work. Any other ideas?

Finally done spitting up river water Milo looks savagely at Tirnel-Maybe the pointy eared bastard can magic us across by sprinkling pixie dust on us or something. I say we just march along the river until we find a better way across. Hells, I say we go back to Oleg's and rest and enjoy some good food.

Looking chastened (at long last)-I'm sincerely sorry Milo. I had no idea you swam like a lead swan. I will take the rope and risk the river waters.
He holds one end of the rope and attempts to swim across.

Quinray savagely grabs the rope and rips Tirnel back to the shore. He looks at the full elf in disgust. Do not have us lose our lives over your pride and vanity. We work together or not at all.
Quinray steps back awkwardly realizing the anger in his words. He looks around to see if he was heard. A confident proud look crosses his countenance, then shame is in the forefront.

"I think we're doing pretty good getting to know each other." Ibram gives a goofy grin and continues, "My guess is our strongest swimmer is either Milo or Quinray. Tie the rope around one of your waists and give it another try. Erastil will provide."

I just thought that's what everyone wanted, Quinray, after Milo almost killed himself taking a dip. 'Lead from the front' some wise person once said, yes? I swear, I'll never understand what people truly desire. Tirnel lays back ready to support whatever action the party takes next.

Milo smiles at Ibram; clearly he appreciates the young man's positive energy, attitude, and shared faith. If Erastil will provide, I will brave the waters once more. Quinray, you speak wisely and I'll take any help you can give me. What do you propose?

Maybe I can fire an arrow across the river. Tie it on to Milo and he can carry another rope we keep on this side and he can fasten it solidly on the other side and pull us across.

The strong current starts to drag Milo under once again and the group hauls him back out.
Are you guys messing with me on purpose??? Maybe one of you dumbasses can use the ring with the water walk spell that you just got in your last encounter!!!
BRAHAHAHAHAHA! I sir, am a dumbass, and had totally forgotten about the ring.
Quinray, maybe you can use that ring to get across....

Quinray knew the whole time he just wanted to show his long bow prowess. Quinray is not the smart one, but he is forgetful.
Milo, get the water walking ring from Tirnel and walk across with the rope.

The night passes quietly and the party rise early to make their way through D2 which they previously explored. They arrive at Oleg's in the late afternoon after a long day of travel. Tirnel's discerning nose catches the delectable scents of Svetlana's cooking, smells like turkey will be served tonight.
Jhod catches sight of the party and hurries over to question Ibram, "Did you find the temple or any sign of it?"

            What was in C2?
Milo answers Jhod-We did not. We will continue to search and clear unless you have any specific direction for us.
He then looks for Oleg to see if he needs help with anything.

Once the sale of accumulated loot is settled/determined Tirnel proposes the party sets out to explore F/G 1-2 and E2.
If we are in good shape at that point we can swing through C-A 3/4 and come back to Oleg's to sell off new loot.

Oleg to Milo and Ibram: "I noticed you both use falchions so I inquired and was able to get a good deal on a magical falchion if one of you have the coin for it."

Perfect Tirnel; you have my thanks. I will begin crafting when our group takes a longer break from our rounds of clearing the countryside. If there is a market for them, I can make you additional bows to sell as time permits.
So far we haven't found anything really significant outside of the bandit camp that we cleared earlier. I suppose we will see what our next round of searching brings.

You are a good man Oleg; thank you for thinking of us. Ibram and I have been discussing what would be best to invest with as far as blades go. I think if you could find a pair of keen falchions we would probably be interested in acquiring them. Also, no luck on your wife's ring, but I will continue to look for it.
Has there been any other bandit sightings or word of my fried Yegalash?
