Viscount Inspector Nigel |

After you meet with Viscount Inspector Nigel, you learn that you are chosen for a security detail for the launching of a new warship the R.N.S Coaltongue You are sworn to secrecy and are allowed to canvas the area and the ship one day prior to the event. You will be tasked with a security checkpoint to ensure the safety of the King during the event.
Everyone gets to make one skill roll and tell me what and where they are canvasing for. Once you are done you are each given a Gentleman's Outfit or Lady's Outfit (whichever you choose) and a pocket watch. These items are found in the extended players guide on starting onpage 15. Each of you also has a pair of gold laced handcuffs. All of these items are considered requisitioned for the mission in addition to your starting gear.
"Report back to me if you discover anything significant. Make sure to get a good rest this evening." The Viscount says before you depart for the day. He gives you a rare smile with a glimmer of pride in his eye.

The young Elven man cut a dashing figure in his white suit, black shirt and shoes, a matching white tie, and a jaunty hat to complete the ensemble.
Scanning the ship itself, he spent his time looking for traces of arcane rituals or preparations both beneficial and dire.

Declan Thorne |

Declan gathered his gear and made sure his powder was dry before settling off to examine the Navy vessel with his new team. The willowy detective offered, ”I’l check things dockside. Someone might want to ask the locals if they’ve noticed anything out of the ordinary”. He spends his time looking for places to conceal an ambush.

Hizlari turns up her nose when offered a 'Ladies Outfit'. "You have no idea how impractical these garments are do you sir?" She asks the official distributing the garments. "While fashionable ladies may want to narrow their waists and conform to fashion as much as possible, it is not sensible for a woman who is expecting any activity more strenuous than a light stroll. I will take these instead." Giving the quartermaster no chance to object she returns the dress, dropping the heavy corset on the desk with a pointed *thud*. Instead she takes a heavy and sensible skirt, a gentleman's vest and coat, and tops it with the offered hat. "This will serve much better, thank you."
Once dressed for duty Hizlari merely strolls around the dock, meticulously inspecting the surroundings, the people and (when possible) her new companions.

Dressed impeccably in a fine Gentleman's outfit provided by the RHC, Kiedoli will take Declan's suggestion. Wandering around the general vicinity, he will be asking the locals if they have seen anything suspicious happen recently.

Hugo Sterling |

The burly half-orc looks extremely uncomfortable and out of place at the meeting with the Viscount Inspector. He almost seems as though he expects to be told that there was some mistake and they meant to send the invitation to someone else entirely. Though he appears fairly well-kept and relatively well-groomed, he is obviously far from wealthy. His clothes are patched and repaired in more places than they are whole, it seems and his shoes appear to be tied with a twisted piece of wiring instead of your typical laces. The remarkable thing about him and perhaps his only redeeming quality at first glance might be the abundance of strange little mechanical devices hooked to his belt and piled up in his pack. Made from mismatched and awkward-fitting parts, it's unclear how they might work at all, except for the tiny little fire-gems intended to power them. Someone with a keen eye might notice that one of the devices features some kind of pulley or belt fashioned from the very shoe-laces that should be attached to his feet. Despite his poor clothing and equipment, it's clear that he takes what care he can with his appearance. He's not dirty, just poor. Or, more likely, he spends his extra coin on gadgets instead of new clothing.
On the street, Hugo falls into his comfort zone and inspects the area for any technological threats.

Viscount Inspector Nigel |

Some of you have more do to with your mini encounters, you can add a spoiler for me. I am going to skip to the end of the day to keep things moving for the rest of the team.
You give your report to the Viscount and he nods. "Very good. You will report to the head of the Flint R.H.C tomorrow. Her name is Lady Inspectress Margaret Saxby. She is a stickler for discipline and protocol so get some rest and do not be late. " It is early evening when you get back. You have time to do a few more things before bed in preparation for tomorrow.

Lysander spends the evening reading a book on the history of airships. Though he is deaf, that does not prevent him from enjoying a good book....or being able to read lips.
After turning in early, Lysander is up early and makes his way towards the meeting point with Inspectress Saxby.

Hizlari returns home and records the day in her journal - a daily practise for her. Her library is filled with diaries, going back over a hundred years and three full lifetimes. After this she pulls out Hanson's Directory of Nobility, and looks up Lady Inspectress Saxby.

Viscount Inspector Nigel |

Kiedoli has not posted in 24 hours. Like I said instead of botting I will just narrate something appropriate to keep things moving.
Kiedoli was successful in his investigation. He learned that three dockers are planning on disrupting the event Coulton, Mercliffe, and Iscalio Kiedoli's source did not know how they planed on doing this, but pleaded that they be taken in peacefully because they are just kids causing mischief. With the heads up the DC to Perception to spot these three individuals will be reduced to 10
The next day two carriages come to pick you all up early in the morning and take you to the Flint Office. This will be your duty station until further notice. When you arrive Lady Inspectress Saxby is giving orders to a group of agents outside. She greets you as you step out of the carriage.
Good. My request for more agents did not fall on deaf ears I see. Go quickly and pick a bunk inside then fall into formation. This is not normally how I like to introduce new agents, but we have no time for pleasantries."

Álainn the Fey |

Hizlari, who has bought only a small bag, finds the quietest bunk. She places her bag neatly on the bed, refolds the cover to make her occupation clear and then returns outside, nodding politely to the Lady Inspectress as she does so.
She must be capable, to have been knighted for services to the state. This could be a valuable learning experience.

Kiedoli |

Kiedoli will place his gear on one of the bunks, attempting to get one that has a nearby window. Taking note of precisely which bunk he has selected as his, he will head out to join the formation.

Lady Inspectress Margaret Saxby |

The Lady Inspectress Margaret Saxby is getting impatient as some of the others seem to be taking their time. She calls out to those not yet in formation."Lay your bags down and get in formation already! I may not know your names yet, but I know your faces! I counted six of you come off those carriages I expect to see six agents added to my formation by the time I count to ten!" Her face becomes very stern as she counts aloud. "1"

Hugo Sterling |

Hugo looks more than a little bit uncomfortable as he arrives in his vest and top-hat. Miraculously, they fit the large half-orc rather well. It's really quite the turn-around when compared to his previous day's appearance. The only real remnants are the various springs and gadgets sticking partway out of his pockets as well as the ragged pack that jingles and clanks as he walks.
It's hard to miss the burly man as he walks, somewhat awkwardly in the new clothing, up to meet the others. His deep voice rumbles out in an embarrased mumble. "Sorry I'm late... I.. had some issues with... um... dressing."
The half-orc tosses his pack at the nearest open bunk, which sails over it entirely and clatters to the ground with a crash that causes him to wince.
He takes formation without going to pick it up.

Lady Inspectress Margaret Saxby |

"3,4,5,678910!Where is that blasted Eladrin!?" Lady Margaret stomps into the barracks and drags Lysander out into the formation.
"Today is not a day to test me recruits. This is one of the biggest assignments I have ever had to oversee and I will not have it ruined by amateurs! Now fall in and listen up!" Her face is red with anger as she shoves Lysander into the ranks.
"Today the King will be in Flint. We will do our duty with pride and competence. Sir Vorag you and your team have the crowds. Make sure none of those damned dockers start anything. " A half-ork nods and salutes and breaks out of formation with his team.
"Lady Selina you and your team has the Coaltongue upper deck. Check and double check personnel." A tiefling woman salutes and also breaks formation and heads out with her team.
"Lastly, you new arrivals. You should have been able to canvass the area yesterday. You are to assist the local police at the security check point and help screen for any undesirables. Go now and do not disappoint me further." She says that last part with snarl as she stares at Lysander.
It takes you about twenty minutes to arrive at the security check point. A crowd of hundreds wait at a security checkpoint. In half an hour they’ll line up along streets to cheer the king’s arrival, and you must make sure no one dangerous gets through.
Those of you that earned a circumstance bonus from your previous tasks get to apply them now.

Kiedoli |

Kiedoli will stand at the checkpoint, inwardly sighing at getting such a routine assignment. He will be looking each individual over, as they pass through, but is somewhat distracted trying to keep an eye out for the three individuals that were pointed out to him.

Lady Inspectress Margaret Saxby |

Hugo funnels people into an even tighter formation with his menacing attitude.
Jacob and Declan both confiscate some minor weapons, boot knives and pocket pistols. Its beginning to become a long day.

Álainn the Fey |

Stepping forward Hizlari speaks quietly into Hugo's ear. "Those men are going to cause trouble - search them thoroughly. Detain if needed."
She steps across to repeat the same message to Jacob and Declan, before falling back again to keep her view clear and - if need be, form a last line of defence.

Earlier:
Lysander picks a bunk, drops his pack, and then returns. He will move into position with the others and then as he is deaf he fails to respond to Inspectress Saxby's query.
Now:
Lysander picks a spot where he can watch the crowd and react if needed.

Mercliffe |

The dockers look a little beat up. One with a black eye speaks up.
"Hey! Just because you lot are all gussied up doesn't mean you have the right to detain us. What's this all about?"

Hizlari's sharp eyes easily catch the quiet man and understand the danger in his demeanour. Luckily David also seems to be aware and steps in before Hizlari has to. She fingers the sap in her belt, ready to step in if needed.
