Diabolito Stormbeard |

The dwarf grins, the wound sucking shut on his chest as takes a step back, his arms flexing and dripping ephemeral water that foams up at his fingertips. He touches the fingers to his chest, and the bruising and cuts from the wind grow less noticeable.
"Aye, Lass! Gozreh ain't ready for my hide yet!"

Cassius rushes forward to cover for Diabolito and seeing the opportunity, he begins slashing at the cables.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
1d6 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
And with that sound strike, the cord looks about to snap.
Looking panicked, hearing the gunfire, the woman hurls torrents of forced air at Cassius and then takes off further into the ship, clearly feeling outmatched.
1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 1 = 11
3d6 + 3 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2, 4, 1) + 3 + 3 + 1 = 14
But in her rush, she fails to hit him with any sort of concentrated effort.
The group can hear quite a lot of ruckus coming from deeper in the ship. It is clearly alerted to them.
Heroes up
Staying in combat rounds.

Aramis Steele |

"Oh, no. I ain't gettin' back on tha' thing without ye, lad." Aramis squeezes Amos' shoulder firmly. "So ye'd best be gettin' after me real quick." With that, she turns and heads topside, her plundered coat flapping behind her in her haste.
"Rawwwk! Follow me!" Rotgut squawks from above.
Just getting back to the ledge.

Amos Anders |

Thus Amos finds himself standing shoulder to shoulder with the other active captain on the mission and waiting for the others to jump. He would make sure she made it off first, of course, even if he had to push her. Loosing captains was bad for morale. Loosing Master Gunners... not so much.
roll to push her off if needed: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Maera |

I assume that was meant for me. CMD's 15, though. :D
Maera dodges Amos's gesture nimbly, and shoots him a cool look. "If it's man-handlin' I wanted, I would have asked for it," she upbraids him with a brusque click of her tongue, and begins to swing her legs over the rail.

Maera |

"And I be tryin' to make sure you all do. 'Captain goes down with the ship,' eh?" she replies, with the idiom that ultimately the ship and its crew were a captain's responsibility, though with considerably less rancor. He wasn't with them for the Wormwood, after all. He's hardly aware of the scope of her abilities, or that she's tougher than her delicate appearance would belie. She adds, more gently, "I know what I can and can't handle, and I know my own mind. Nobility's a fine gesture an' all, and has its place, but we may not always have the luxury of its dance - Sometimes you may have to let the lady lead."
She nods slightly to where Bullet, and Aramis, should be waiting for him to make their escape, but doesn't elaborate on it. Next chance she gets she'll dive overboard.

Amos Anders |

Amos sighs. Several retorts spring to mind, but now was not the time.
He will also jump at the first opportunity and holster his guns on the way down. Before he jumps, be Will clear the mechanisms in his pistols by firing them. If no foes are about he will fire into something symbolic like the wheel or the ship's name plate. This is more flavor than mechanics.

Aramis Steele |

"Amos, lad, she's fine. It's me an' this horse ye gotta worry 'bout!" Aramis calls from below, desperately trying not to fall off Bullet.
Sorry. Couldn't resist. Just had to go with the "Aramis is scared of horses" thing.

The crew of The Dominator were ill-prepared to see the boarders leap off the side of the ship, and by the time they got a chance to react...it was too late. Fury was out to sea and the large ship which could have easily overtaken them could not quite handle it. Cassius managed to snag a hold of Diabolito's fin, while Amos took care of getting Aramis to safety after shooting a pair of rungs out of the wheel of the Chelish ship. Maera and Indrana took care of themselves and it wasn't long before they were being hauled up by Sandara and the rest of the crew.

SC Sandara |

Sandara gave a wry smile upon the wet cry being pulled on board and chuckled, "It seems we had her smiling on us this day. I was worried for a bit..."

Aramis Steele |

Whistling tunelessly, Aramis tries on the hat, and holds one of the epaulets up to the shoulder of her coat. "Well, what d'ye think?" she asks, grinning broadly at Maera, then Amos. "Did ye see tha way 'is 'ead blew out?" she chuckles weakly, her grin shrinking by a molar or two. "Man, reminds me a' tha day we took Fury," she sighs, leaning against the wheel and staring out to sea. "'Ow long's it been, anyway? All tha days seem ta run together."

Maera |

"Perfect," she replies. "One day we shall have to take and keep a Chellish ship to match it."
Maera watches the progress of their escape, comforted that the Man o' War is growing rapidly in the distance. "If I had to guess I'd say we'd been at sea for roughly a fortnight now."

Indrana |

Having made it back to the ship and on board once more Indrana spoke a few words and gestured, the water streaming from her fur and onto the deck near the rail so it would quickly drain away. She looked around at everyone and said, "Well, that's better, I'm glad we got out of there in one piece." When Maura comes up and bats her head against Indrana's leg the tiefling quickly knelt and picked her up, stroking the creature's fur gently.
Whoops, fixed it...other ship?

GM Hills |

On The Dominator. He went below decks to wait for you. He is sad because you never showed up
A few nights pass. One filled with celebration thanks to Maera's quick use of her spells and music.
A ship suddenly comes into view, sailing across the setting sun. The glaring light behind it makes the details of the ship difficult to make out, but its lines suggest a whaler riding low in the water. As the last light of day disappears below the horizon, the distant ship also drops from sight in the gloom of twilight.

Aramis Steele |

"Only two weeks?" Aramis sighs wistfully. "Two weeks, an' look 'ow far we've come, lass." The mention of taking a Chelish ship draws a short, barking laugh from her; her usual broad grin returns, and she claps her fellow captains hardily on the shoulders. "Aye, now there's a plan!" she laughs. "An' Whiskers, ye done good, but try ta not chew 'em up so much next time, eh?" she winks.
At Amos' suggestion, she sighs. "Ye're right, lad. If'n any spark gets ta tha' powder, the 'ole damn ship's like ta go up in flame." Shaking her head, she crosses to him, squeezes his shoulder once, and heads belowdecks. "Let's see what we can do about tha', then..."
Assuming we can work on some kind of method for that elsewhere. I'm just not terribly creative...
"We're bein' followed," Aramis mutters, pulling apart a hard biscuit and passing half up to Rotgut, currently perched on her bicorne. "Tha', or this is a particularly good spot fer whalin'."

Indrana |

Yeah, never entirely understood why he did that, Indrana meant to just amuse him right there on deck for a bit. What I meant about the new plaything was I thought Diabolito brought a captive back to out ship to question.
Indrana looked at the wailer as Aramis mentioned it, "That is odd, I wouldn't think this area would be good for wailing, I'd think the water was too shallow." She notices how quickly the ship disappears and says, "That was fast, oh well, maybe it was further off than it looked."

Maera |

"You think it be sahaugin again? We've tangled with them twice already. They could be tryin' to keep tabs on us. See if we're weak enough for a revenge strike." she asks, frowning heavily in thought.

Diabolito Stormbeard |

He brought back a body so it'd be easier than stripping gear off it. Much easier to move a body. Also, if they can't find the body, it's better for us.
"I can't imagine those uglies pilotin' a ship. They've just been hiding on them. Never looking more than jus' a dead fish."

Diabolito Stormbeard |

The dwarf stays quiet, looking out over the railing. The first thing that genuinely has him stumped. Such a strange thing.
The dwarf leans on the railing, it now about eye level as he speaks again.
"We should double up the watch. For all we know, it could even be a Devil's trap." Diabolito shakes his head in disgust.

Indrana |

Ah, I see, just got confused.
Indrana finds herself nodding, "I agree, doubling up the watch is wise, at least for now."
