Maera |

"If these fine gentlemen see something like that, I can't guarantee they won't find it displeasing, and lose focus on us." Maera quickly voices her thoughts, before continuing to keep the men ensnared. "But should someone new come across us, they, too, will have to try and resist this magic..."

Maera |

"He might," Maera indicates to the one that Indrana has occupied. "But my admirers won't."
Seems like below deck is the best choice. If there's trouble, I get 1d3 rounds of them being spellbound if I leave, and Indrana can probably suggest that hers' go wait in his bunk.

Amos Anders |

Amos waits but moment for the cat lady's responce, but doesn't linger. He motions for everyone not occupied to follow.
Keep them busy as long as you can, but don't get cut off. I'll meet you two below decks. He says, then he heads below to the room where the rope would be strung and the pulleys maintained. (the name is escaping me at the moment).

Aramis Steele |

"A'right, lad. Let's go make some trouble." Clapping Amos on the shoulder, Aramis follows, keeping her eyes peeled, sweeping the surrounds.

Diabolito Stormbeard |

"Aye, give us as much time as possible." He looks to the one Captain and Indrana, and then to Aramis and Amos.
"I'm assumin' as a war ship that they'd have some a' that powder you pair use? I'd expect that some fire below deck, once we were ready to run, might give us a bit a time?"
The dwarf speaks quietly, as his lips pull back into a fierce grin.

GM Hills |

Indrana asks the pirate to meet her in the cabins below and he smiles and nods, dashing off excitedly.
Maera has to make the difficult decision to leave the performance or to let the group go down without her, but in the meantime, they enter an area below deck. The room is a storage room. Food and the like, simple supplies, though a door, that their sailing skill says should be near where the tiller leads is in the back of the room.
I update the map, I had to make my own again, so you will have to use your imagination a little. Maera must choose what she is going to do. Indrana will have the option to stay with Maera or follow the group below. (Or go with Maera if she joins them below)

GM Hills |

So after a whirlwind trip to Vegas that had more lows than highs (and no, we didn't gamble), we needed time to recover and deal with a pair of sick little girls (not very sick, but that was what we came home to). That said. BACK!
The group that goes below is interrupted as they begin to move forward as the door on the far side of the room opens and a man and woman step out. The man is clearly an officer of some sort, his hat very indicative, but the more apparent things to notice are the angry flush to his cheeks and the battleaxe he is carrying. Behind him is a woman dressed in loose clothing who looks odd for the Chelish ship, though the colors do indicate she is supposed to be there...she just isn't in a proper uniform. There is a flush to her cheeks as well. He snarls, "Seems we have some bilge rats that seek to infest our ship...that won't do..."
"We will just have to blow them down, Commander Kain." The woman says very matter-of-fact.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Aramis: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Maera: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Diabolito: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Amos: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Indrana: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Cassius: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Despite their sudden appearance, the ship's invaders were expecting something and were not caught unaware. As such...they were not surprised...and even beat the Commander to the punch.
Invader's up!

Diabolito Stormbeard |

The dwarf grins and chuckles low at the Captains, his teeth growing jagged as his already muscular jaws distend into a maw worthy of his moniker.
"Cap'n's...Believe me duty calls for this situation? Permission to engage?" The little Devilfish snaps his teeth, as he hefts his battle axe with both hands, the morningstar glistening red for just a moment before disappearing from view.
Draw battleaxe and activating Totemic Transformation.

Aramis Steele |

"Permission granted, ye feisty li'l bugger," Aramis growls, holding her fire for now.
I'll delay my initiative - if Cassius and Diabolito can take them down quickly (and relatively quietly), there's no point in me drawing attention with gunfire.
Sorry to hear about your bad weekend. And I hope your girls are doing better!

Diabolito Stormbeard |

Bite: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Damage: 1d6 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 2 = 7
The dwarf growls and makes his way over to the small lady and bites at her, but his motion is pushed to the side, the red glowing teeth digging into the wood of the door frame, frustrated at missing his target.

Aramis Steele |

Gripping her musket firmly, Aramis flips it in her hands, steps up, and swings the stock across the man's face.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
damage: 1d10 ⇒ 7
CMB: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Spending one grit point to pistolmusket-whip. If the attack hits, I get that free combat maneuver check to knock him prone.

GM Hills |

The heavily armored man winks when the musket clangs off his armor. "Not today."
Looking at how the group had waited for Aramis's command, he smiles to her. "I suppose you run this honor-less assault...Well then, time to teach you a lesson," with that he raises his axe and seems to connect to Ararmis's eyes in a silent challenge.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25
1d8 + 5 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 5 + 6 = 18
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
1d8 + 5 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 6 = 16
His axe swings down onto Aramis, ripping into her flesh, while his upward return arc narrowly misses her.
The female takes a step back and seems to draw the air in around herself before lashing out at Diabolito with a torrent of forceful air.
1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 1 = 18
3d6 + 3 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (4, 2, 1) + 3 + 3 + 1 = 14
The force of the air seems to bruise the shark shaman's very flesh.
Heroes up

Diabolito Stormbeard |

The dwarf grimaces at the bruising, coughing up a glob of blood. Wiping the bit of blood away, the dwarf grits his teeth and then launches an assault with both axe and teeth, preparing to dig into the woman as he steps forward to follow her.
Axe Attack: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (17) + 6 - 4 = 19
Bite Attack: 1d20 + 8 - 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 - 8 = 17
Axe Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Bite Damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 2 = 8
Battle rage

Aramis Steele |

The axe bites deep into Aramis' shoulder, and she nearly bites through her tongue, desperate to deny the man the satisfaction of hearing her cry in pain. Thankful for her loaded musket, she steps back, raises it shakily in her hand, and fires. She then draws the evocation-engraved bullet from her pouch, loading it with trembling fingers.
Musket: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 point-blank shot, deadly aim; vs. touch
damage: 1d12 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

Amos Anders |

challenge, PBS, Precise: 1d20 + 12 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 12 + 1 = 23
damage: 1d8 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 1 = 11
Amos is shocked to see his captain take such... Risk. Then again he's not sure he wouldn't have done the same in her situation. So he steps back, levels his own firearm and shouts, Time to die, Commander. We officially have no time for your B***s***. Before he fires.

Diabolito Stormbeard |

Axe: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 6 - 4 = 8
Bite: 1d20 + 8 - 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 - 8 = 18
Bite Damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 2 = 8
The dwarf growls, spitting out a chunk of flesh. His axe swings around for another blow, but it is pushed away. The movement, though, leaves the woman open as his teeth tear another deep furrow into flesh.
"No time for your crap, lass. We have business to attend to."

Maera |

Maera visibly winces at the sound of the muffled gunshot, but thankfully her audience is too enthralled with her to be disturbed. She shoots Indrana a significant look, and begins edging towards the aft-castle.
"I believe that's our cue to exit, stage right... Gentlemen," she says, and withdraws completely to where the rest of their crew should be.
They'll remain enthralled for 1d3 rounds. Let me know please when I am with the others or can see the opponents.

Indrana |

With her unwitting paramour having gone below decks to wait for her, a place she never intended to go, Indrana nodded and moved along with Maera.
I thought they went below decks and Maera and I stayed above. Are you intending for us to go below decks or should we stay up here to guard our escape route?

Maera |

The 3 sailors enthralled don't move, they are fascinated. The one you charmed could, and took instruction to go below deck to his bunk. I figured at this point, we shouldn't have the party split if we can help it.

GM Hills |

Cassius continues his assault.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
1d6 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
But fails to find the same luck he found previously.
The commander begins to yell, "INTRUDERS!! INTRUDERS!!! as he steps up and slashes at Aramis once more.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
1d8 + 5 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 6 = 19
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
1d8 + 5 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 6 = 12
But fails twice to weave his axe into her defenses.
1d20 ⇒ 15
1d20 ⇒ 18
1d20 ⇒ 9
The woman steps away from Diabolito once more which allows his eyes to fall upon something that might, in fact, catch his attention. The very cable that needs to be cut But whether it does or not, she pumps her power into him with a torrent of air.
1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 1 = 18
3d6 + 3 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (3, 4, 5) + 3 + 3 + 1 = 19
Striking him like a hurricane, nearly forcing him back.

Aramis Steele |

"Whiskers, fall back!" Aramis calls as Diabolito seems to sway on his feet. Taking another nimble step back from the commander, she growls, "Enough a' yer yappin!" as she lets him eat lead.
Musket: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 evocation bullet; point-black shot, deadly aim; vs touch
OMG crit?!: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
damage: 1d12 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Just in case...: 3d12 + 15 ⇒ (8, 8, 12) + 15 = 43

Maera |

Seeing how badly wounded their Striker is, Maera draws up behind him to give him a hit with their wand of cure light wounds. 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
"No dyin' on us, now," she chides gently. "We've come this far together with your salty hide."
Don't forget that we have potions, both light and moderate, from Sandara. :)
