Verim Pharae |

Verim deflects the many blows laughing almost at their attempts to pierce his defense. Until an arrow from Wendaug seems to head right for his head but stopping mid-air and drop. He swats it away in that moment and smirks, It must have been his lucky day.
" So what I'm hearing is that Dinner is on if I take out the head here? I'll hold you to that! Time to get rid of the riff raff RAGAAAAGGGHH! "
His eyes glow bright and the blood of battle flows through him. He swings mercilessly on the Mongrel North of him.

DM Nightbringer |

Verim connects a solid blow to the mongrelman, who manages to stay on his feet.
Seeing additional people climbing down the tunnel, Hosilla examines everyone more closely (spellcraft if you have line-of-sight to her).
The floating Glaive continues to attack Verim.
Glaive: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 - 4 = 19
With Verim obscured behind attackers, Wendaug fires an arrow a Luciana, missing badly and the hectic melee. Somehow, I don't think I'm going to be taking you up on that, Lover.
Arrow: 1d20 + 9 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 9 - 4 = 7

If from the top of the hole Laris can see well enough to target a Sleep targeting the area with the dotted line, she'll do so, otherwise she'll start to ragesong again.

Tallina Kapok |

Finish summoning Stirge in space next to sword and board tiefling, attack sword and board tiefling. After this post I'm on vacation wee!
Tallina finishes chanting her strange words and nearby down the hole appears a Stirge that attacks the heavily armored tiefling.
Stirge Attach: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 This ones from mobile so it isn't too descriptive

DM Nightbringer |

If from the top of the hole Laris can see well enough to target a Sleep targeting the area with the dotted line, she'll do so, otherwise she'll start to ragesong again.
Looking down through the hole, you can only see the intersections around Verim. Ragesong is active for everyone who wants it.
Popping into existence above Uziel, the stirge quickly attaches itself to the tiefling.
Uziel takes 1 point of Con Damage. Tallina, you still have your action for this turn.

Tallina Kapok |

Ah sorry, I can see Maxwell right? Then guidance on him, I have a free hand for casting then free action regrip the scythe
After summoning the Stirge, Tallina peers down the hole and casts a guidance spell on the grim guardian.
"A little more reassurance couldn't hurt Maxwell. Swing hard and make some room for some of us."

DM Nightbringer |

Encouraged by their success at injuring Maxwell, the mongrelmen begin hooting in excitement.
Two on Maxwell, one on Verim, one on Luciana. Maxwell and Verim are currently warded.

Damnit, we're getting boxed in. Luci thought to herself, swinging at the nearest mongrelman to at least give them a little breathing space.
Attacking mongrelman to Luci's west.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Just to check, was that the first blow to hit Luci this fight? If so, then she's down to 11HP.

Verim Pharae |

Verim gleefully rebuffs the measly Mongrelman as the creature slams up against his armor only to flail wildly, " An eager one aren't you!? Wait your turn I have to make a trail to Sugarscales over there, you'll have to wait your turn! " Verim laying into his previous target with renewed vigor and the hymn of mighty warriors crushing their foes beneath a weighted hammer on the battlefield flows through him. His strength bolstered and furious.
Twin Raging Shield Bash: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 51d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Twin Raging Morningstar Smash: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 171d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Verim then looks over to Wendaug again after the exchange of blows, noting the fact she did not launch an arrow at him. " Hey, you never know until the time comes! Maybe you'll get some free time after I speak to your superior, I'm sure you'll have all the time you need to get to know each other better! Oh and whats this with you arrows of affection? Someone else in your eyes at the moment? Am I not good enough HrrHar! " He gives a playful Tirade.
I'll take the song

Mia Rumsfield |

Verim, too bad it isn't like the following huh: this
Especially since these are mongrel folk

Maxwell Lionheart |

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
1d10 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
1d10 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Figuring the situation as dire as it is, Maxwell makes it a point to continue bashing the brains of the nearest mongrelmen inside as per habit. He is oddly quiet, however, as there doesn't seem to be much reasoning with the entire group, and they don't even have the numbers to really force them to surrender.
Seeing an opening, he lunges forward a mere 5 feet and places his mace firmly in the ribs of the tiefling.

DM Nightbringer |

Eyes flashing with unholy fury, Hosilla points at Luciana and yells, Kill the tiefling first!
Momentarily confused, Uziel starts to answer, But mistress.....
Cutting Uziel off abruptly, Hosilla continues, Not you, idiot, the female tiefling. This dominion belongs to Baphomet and the servants of the gods shall feel his wrath.

Wendaug winks at Verim as she launches an arrow at Maxwell. I'm not done with you yet lover, but your friends are getting in the way. I'll dance with you again in a minute.

Tallina Kapok |

Tallina delays for Tobongo, Tobongo is jumping down down and will eat attacks of opportunity from the tiefling near Maxwell and will get 1 slam. Tallina will go down and heal Luci, Then the stirge will drain one more point of con and vanish.
"Tobongo, get down there and help me out."
This is just the heal that will be going off, since it is a melee touch could fight defensively while trying to heal? If not disregard the d20 roll
CLW: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (13) + 0 = 131d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Laris D'Vagne |

Dropping down there may well be suicide, but... the feisty Paladin is in trouble, and she can't get decent aim to shoot anyone.
Laris will wait until Tobango has dropped down to soak up the AOO then head down the hole, drawing her Glaive (unless she has it readied already, can't remember...)
If she has time she'll attack whoever she lands near (also maintaining ragesong as free action).
Nothing seems to expressly forbid using Expertise while raging/ragesong, so will use it unless DM would prefer otherwise
Attack(rage, expertise): 1d20 + 3 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 1 - 1 = 12 dmg: 1d10 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 1 = 13
Potentially flanking depending on where's available to drop down to.

Uziel deflects Tobongo's attack with his shield. Laris follow down behind Tobongo and moves to position to threaten both Hosilla and Wendaug, but her swing at Hosilla goes wide.
Hosilla will take her AoO vs Larisa.

Mia looks down.
Rash adults..
Making a gesture, Mia throws a heal hex on Laris.
Healing received: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Verim Pharae |

There is an issue, Heal Hex works like CLW and CLW is touch, you dont have the scar hex yet.. so it would require you to come down and touch Laris.. and there is no room. Also the mongrelman attacking Tallina doesnt get flanking not that it mattered. Im not sure if this will change turns just a note.
Verim sees his allies falling around him and roars, his fervor more fierce than ever. " I guess its time I danced with both of you more personally. I wonder how your mistress can deal with someone who is actually a threat to her. Arquero's judgement upon you! "
Verim rushes forward around the bumbling tiefling now that the way is open and almost hugs Wendaug and Hosilla with his presence before swinging at Hosilla with a might arch toward her inner right thigh. In an attempt to ground her.
Happy Birthday to the GROUND CMB: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

Verim Pharae |

Retcon then
Mia casts ward on Laris instead.
I think all the Hexes require LoS which Laris is far outside if you stay atop.

Verim Pharae |

If you scroll up before Laris tried a spell and the GM pretty much told her what she could see which n general was the people right under the hole in that 9 square area

Mia Rumsfield |

Retcon take 2 X)
Ward hex on Maxwell. Our moody guy can use all the buffs he can get.

DM Nightbringer |

Putting Maxwell on delay
Cursing, Hosilla stands up and backs away from Verim. Pointing her finger she orders, Kill him.
Verim gets an AoO
Wendaug takes a 5' step back, loosing a arrow at Verim. Now you've done it, the b~%&@ does not like being touched.
Longbow: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15
Looking confused at his new orders, Uziel steps forward and attacks Maxwell.
Longsword: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
The floating glaive continues to attack Verim.
Glaive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Verim Pharae |

I think Laris would get an AoO as well because she has a reach weapon though I would thing there would be cover on it..
Verim slams his Morningstar with a roar into Hosilla's Solar plexus as she stands up laughing as he found her weakness.
+4 from her being prone or -4 AC whichever you want, just adjust
AoO Raging Morningstar Smash: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 281d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
After lunging forward, Verim uses the Momentum to swat the arrow from the air smashing it to pieces upon impact while simultaneously bringing his shield to bear to deflect the spectral Glaive. He grits his teeth moving back into battle-ready position after the onslaught.
" Ohh~? She's the type to command but gets a little flustered if she's the one getting commanded? Seems like the closet-case here is going to learn some humility! And you my dear, better get ready for some fine ale after all of this is over. " he smiles at Wendaug " Mother always told me, the ones with the hardest shell on the outside, were keepers in the end...
He turns his head to Hosilla " You should know when your beat.. You should have targeted me first the whole time, HA! "

DM Nightbringer |

Hosilla still has a swift action to respond to Verim's AoO. As she steps away from Verim, she is bathed in a dull ember red aura.
Hosilla: You'll be the last one to die, as you watch me gut your friends and sacrifice their hearts to Baphomet.

Verim Pharae |

Just a note I noticed Hosilla didnt attack was that intended or did you forget, also did she seemed defensive as she got up or still battle ready with her Glaive. Another question on if Laris got an AoO as well.. because she has reach. Ohh and those barricades I assume we cannot 5ft across them?

Laris D'Vagne |

Laris' voice resonates around the room, the sound of rage and fury transcending mere words.
She pushes towards the enemy and strikes at the cultist.

Hosilla used a double move: one to stand up, one to move away. I had forgotten Laris was using a reach weapon. The AoO hit. You notice her wounds are starting to heal.

Mia Rumsfield |

And it's the kids/teens that patch up the adults.....
Mia renews her wad hex on Maxwell.

Verim Pharae |

Verim's smirk couldnt get any wider as he stares at the retreating woman with eyes of Determination. He advances upon her, his presence becoming larger as wisps of a white light ebb from his body. " You see, that's where you are wrong, you wont be winning this battle. Even more so, I won't be the last to die, for I am a protector and as long as I live, I'll make sure I, Verim Pharae, am the first one into battle and the First to die before my allies. So let me give you trip back to the reality of your situation, I hope you have enough cushion back there to survive the ride down! "
Verim lunges, feinting with his morningstar while she is still recovering from the last blow only to twist and attempt to take her legs out with a powerful Shield slam; Immediately following up with a morningstar to the face.

Add +4 to the 2nd attack if she did get knocked prone in the first also, she gets an AoO if she has some way of threatening adjacent, Verim 5fted up to Hosilla

Maxwell Lionheart |

Twisting to Swing his flail at the horned individual to his right, but takes a step forward before doing so. Unfortunately, he misses entirely, but hopes against hope that his position aids Tallina in attacking him while the others fight the rest of them.
