The only thing I'm really excited about is the 5e dmg and Guardians of the Galaxy on blu ray. Well and the Star Wars the Old Republic expansion Shadow of Revan.

I've been playing Beyond Earth in my downtime.
And I finally managed to beat Civ 5 on Immortal.
Other than that, most of my time is spent either on work or getting everything prepared for my Christmas vacation. I'll be spending a full week in Maine with my wife and daughters.
On a related note. I won't have any internet from Dec 20 until December 29. I disconnect while on vacation and devote all my time to family.

I'll stick to non-alcoholic beverages.
In my last class several years ago, some were amazed i'd never been drunk or even tipsy.
If jaws could drop extendingly, they would have then.
I dont actually drink, but because of an incident when I was 8 and mistakenly got real drunk. Anything with alcohol taste like.. straight alcohol. Even worse.. my tolerance is so high.. I dont get drunk.. and the physician pretty much told me the amount I would need to BECOME drunk.. would kill me.
For Verim He might just want.. Sex on the Beach..
My grandparents got my dad and aunt sort of drunk, pretty tipsy at the least.
Imagine: family vacation in the car.
It's warm outside and the car's been on the road for quite some time.
They had a plastic...cilinder, for lack of the word...filled with grape juice. It went rolling along so much it became alcoholic, so eventually two kids were feeling very merry.
I don't go more than one or two hard ciders or one mixed drink. Alcoholism runs in the family and I'd rather not test the waters.

@Talli I only drink at events and even then its like.. one drink, normally some crappy beer. Or if someone is feeling adventurous, Vodka or Everclear. Sake when the Japanese kids are here.
I can't actually stand most alcohol - a bit like what Verim said; all I can really taste is the alcohol itself, it overpowers everything else. Red wine I seem to be fine with, but even then I can only have a couple glasses before I think I'm done. Not done as in drunk, done as in "Nah; I don't feel like any more."
And while you could make jokes about Verim's libido, I think Luci just beat him on that front. :P

I know how that taste thing goes. That was until my family introduced me to krupnikas. A Lithuanian honey liquor made from everclear with a tea of honey and herbs. In a warmed glass it is perfect to sit next to a fire with and go over old gaming books.
Dmg for 5e came out and I'm working on converting the old Sword of the Dales series to 5e.

I went out drinking a few times when I was younger. There are just times where it is appropriate (pulling into port for a 3 day R&R while in the navy). But I've never been able to drink beer and have not touched anything the past 20 years.
Even when I was younger, going out drinking was a special occasion, not something I did very often. Hell, ( was even known to take a book to the local strip club. Surprisingly, that actually got me a date once. The girls actually came over to talk to the guy not busy drinking and ogling them.
I'm kind of a slightly big drinker, actually. Not too bad that you could call it a problem, but for the last 2 years I don't think I've went 2 weeks without being tipsy, but that's the general flow of things.
Juice drinks are usually my favorite. Screwdrivers made with Sunny D are my bane.

Been a tad quiet as of late I guess Verim has to stir the pot a bit more. I was waiting on other to respond to Talli and the GM to d stuff But I'll gladly stir until a fine puree.
I'm was giving people time to roleplay while waiting for a party decision on where to proceed. I don't know which location people are moving towards.
I think its decided we were going to the closest one the Tower we were jut deciding HOW we go about doing that.

Well this is just taunting now. Big update for War Thunder yesterday, "Steel Generals". Big updates to the ground forces side of the game including the big one; the American tech tree finally being added to the game. Finally; I will own a Sherman that is not just one captured by the Germans... hang on; why hasn't tier 2 unlocked? I own enough tier 1 vehicles to start researching one of the numerous Shermans in tier 2, what's going on?
*clicks research button on the M4(105), a Sherman with a 105mm howitzer*
"Vehicle isn't available for research at the moment. American Ground Forces are now in closed beta test. Each vehicle will become available as it is fully tested and tuned. We expect to unlock 2-3 tanks every 3-5 days. Until then, they are available only for testers."
It then goes on to say that you can become a tester by completing certain in-game tasks (with no indication what those tasks are), fill out a form to become a closed beta tester (with no link to the form) or buy a suitable premium package with a 25% discount (which they do link).
Damn you; Gaijin! Fine then; I'll just putter about in my M2A4, my M3 Stuart and the other tier 1 tanks.
EDIT: Almost forgot; the Germans got a new tier 4 premium tank - the Tiger(P)! For just over 6,000 Golden Eagles (just over $30 US), you too can drive this prototype Tiger designed by Ferdinand Porsche.

It's a holiday week, it's going to be rough for everybody. In the meantime merry Christmas to those who celebrate it. I've got a rough day tomorrow and Friday but have a surprisingly light schedule next week although I will be out on Monday due to a buddies birthday where I'm going to the zoo.
