The steep tunnel opens up on the side of the mountain in a narrow valley between rugged foothills. The sun is nearly spent for the day. It's trailing beams painting the heights leaving the valley in near twilight. Still the light is better than the blue-green of the caves below.

Ahead lies a stream whose water is hastened by runoff from a recent storm further up the mountains. A ledge to the south rises up to the nearby forest canopy. Just beyond the stream a winded Janira wearily dodges a giant, frothing beast-man's axe!

Janira seems to be reciting something through gulps of air, but just the sight of the little halfling battling the huge war-painted minotaur is inspiration enough.

When she notes the party's arrival, her eyes grow wide and she shouts "GUYS!"

Using it as a distraction Janira lobs a big wobbly sack of something at the minotaur. "Ugh!"

Note the lightly forested areas (all the green bits of the map) provide concealment (20% miss chance if you are ranged attacking through it), as well as being difficult terrain.

Condition - Inspire Courage +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects, and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls.

As the magic finishes flowing through Mr. Monty into Nina, she begins to grow, larger and larger, until she stands as tall as the minotaur! Continuing her run, she wades through the water, Mr. Monty in hand. Once she gets across the river, she steps in front of Janira and growls at the minotaur.

Come on you oversized hamburger, Let's see how you handle someone your own size!

Assuming difficult terrain instead of fording because she's large? So it'll take her move action to get to position and she'll ready a action to attack when he gets within range.

I make a run action (4X normal speed) as far as I can on the line indicated. Given my crappy speed, diagonal movement, and the imprecisely-demarcated difficult terrain, I'm not sure just how far that takes me, so please move me as far as I can go in the direction indicated (assuming it doesn't take me over the stream, which I'm fairly sure is not the case).
