Would it be possible to default to Wrathe will never block the melees from being in a position to layeth the smackdown on evil?
Heck, if it comes down to him losing his turn, I'll gladly let someone effective take the spot. With your leave I'll check later on in the day and post twice that day (if time permits), if I find out my chosen action was nullified by positional chokepoints (much more likely to transpire if you fire me a quick e-mail).

I'm fine with that. Each case will vary, but I'll try to let you know in advance how many can attack at once in situations where room is at a premium.
In the current case, you could fit three against him now that Daxniss is 'behind'. One behind to the left (Daxniss), one in the doorway (Wrathe, but 5' back), and one to the right (Argon, but on his knees and prone).

Jebus could I get a roll past single digits :). Maybe I should just bite him, or I'll take the two handed fighting penalties at this point ;)
Wrathe Sepai |
Work beckons, and a meeting after it....so not sure if/when I could post later. Please ignore the actions, not the verbal explosions, so it could take effect after the eventual tag.

Ssilax is the only one damaging the guy so far. Go Ssilax!
(please don't forget to apply -4 for firing into melee. There's no cover this time, but if there is I'll apply that. Anyways, with the -4 you hit him anyways.)
So order wise, Daxniss missed again, and it's the dude's turn but he can do nothing anyhow. So you then go, good Wrathe, good Ssilax, you've both posted. Now Dax can go again, and Argon.

I'd like to assume you've decided how to split up all the goods. Please write them on your character sheets.
I figure Argon and Dax could split up the armor and long bow, if she can use the bow. There's the other equipment, and Dorian's wealth, and I will post that Ry indicates you will have a chance to get resupplied at the keep.

Trying to remember what we have:
To be returned to Master Dainoth:
To be returned to Dorian:
Creepy Stuff:
What did I miss?

Now that I have power, I'll update the sheet. As for using the longbow it was more of boosting. I added this to my character sheet:
Rogues are proficient with all simple weapons, plus the hand crossbow, rapier, sap, shortbow, and short sword. They are proficient with light armor, but not with shields.
I thought I did use the +1hp at first level and skill points at second I'll do a quick audit and I think I should have 26 HP. * Hp for rogue, + 2 HP for Con modifier, and + 3 HP for Toughness at first level. Second level 8 HP for Class, + 2 for Con, and + 3 for Toughness. Both favored class went into skill points as I have 24 skill points used.
I would say I'll take the armor but I'll leave it up to the others since I don't have an armor check penlity but if Argon needs it more, he can take it :)
Michael New |
Argon will take the bow and you take the armor.
As for hit points, some (all) of us got a boon wherein we could get FC bonuses both for skill points and hit points at the same time. That's what I was asking about. You don't get the +3 for toughness at second level, only 1st. Then +1/level starting at 4th.

Me'lar can keep the continual light torch, unless someone wants it. She can always sell it and use the proceeds.
Screw the NPC!
Let them eat cake!

(Please stock up on mundane items you need, maximum value of 100gp for any item. The store room has most equipment listed in the Core Rulebook: here.)
This is from our wealth/sold items? Or is there an allotment just from the stores for us to add to our sheets?
Wondering how much we have to split coin-wise, since Me'lar got much of Wrathe's wealth.
If we sell the stuff below, what's the exchange rate?
Could the Ring of Mind Shielding be sold here?
Anyone want any of this stuff?
Ssilax
Daxniss
Argon
Wrathe

There's no offer to buy or sell here. You can leave things here (which they will appreciate) and you can just pick and choose what you like, within the limit I said. So if you want 100 alchemists' fire bottles, fine (but good luck with that!).
Argon will take (or share with others):
100' silk rope
Rations, 2 days
Alchemists' fire x3
And he suggested Me'lar can keep the Continual Light Torch. She can always sell if if she need the money.
For the ring, it belongs to Dainoth, but I was going to mention it (along with his staff and hand) in the next post...
In terms of money, you have Dorian's diamonds plus some other coin you found. It would be great if you could specify who has what. Maybe split it evenly, plus some for Me'lar?
Wrathe Sepai |
To be clear, the limit is 100gp per item, not total. If you had a bag of holding, I would be adding additional restrictions... :-)
Would a light horse, and/or some ponies and wagon/carriage, be acceptable?
I see spellcasting services are shown in that link you provided. Would we be able to purchase 4 first level spells to copy into our spellbooks?
p.s. I'll remove the Ring of Mind Shielding and Staff of Illumination from Wrathe's sheet, assuming that Rygear has them. Has he taken Dainoth's hand and Dorian's eyeballs to keep safe?

No not really, I'd like to think that they might have a potential to have the GM throw something in there for flavor text. Tentacledone did something with the Harrow card result at the start of the game, I can throw the flavor text up in my next post.
It is a profession and would allow Daxniss to make some coin in cities as per the rules. It was never discussed that the Harrow cards predicted the future, the cards are a heirloom item from character creation. If we want to make them have a one in twenty chance of prediction of the possible future we can but I would feel that they would be ambiguous in the results.
Daxniss has the trait of Harrow born which, allowed Daxniss to have the resilient trait.

Okay after doing some searching I stumbled on a few wikis for the Harrow card and Harrow, I'll try to post a link via my phone.
Needless to say I'll get a post up when I get home, I need a keyboard and my phone will make it slightly difficult to get a n decent post.
