Interesting, that means that the sleeves can be used to combat body odor... I wonder if they can be used to throw off a tracker using its sense of smell?

It would appear the game designers agree with you.
It's exactly the same as glamered. Even if someone slashes you with a longsword glamered to look like a bouquet of flowers, you don't get to disbelieve. But you still know you got slashed. Similarly the swarm on the suit knows its biting and drawing blood, but it still thinks you have a suit. Probably some suit-beast with skin like a suit. Yum!

Ok guys, if any of you are holding out last minute submissions now is the time. I will be closing recruitment when I wake up tomorrow morning. Which will probably be between 8:30-10:00 PM EST 11/18 (but I live in Asia so its the 19th for me). With less than half the applicants getting in, this is going to be a brutal choice. I might not announce until a couple of days after recruitment closes. We'll see how busy I am IRL.

After much hemming an hawing, I have made my decision. In the end I went for a relatively "balanced" party that seemed to unite around the theme of Air/Wind/Storms/Electricity and neutral alignments for the most part. Any of the submitted characters would have been excellent, and I'm very grateful to all of you for putting in the time to apply for my game. I wish I had no real life responsibilities whatsoever, and could run two tables :(
