Uuranx's massive frame pulls the door open and in the process pulls if free from the frame; it collapses into several large chunks of rotting wood. A stale smell emenates from the tower and a crumbling stair way leads up to the curtain wall above.

The stairs, mostly stone, look like they would easily support the load of a well equipped halfling. You are a little more doubtful about a large half-Orc.

With sturdy Uuranx guarding the entrance, Vraxel flits into the stairwell and up to the top of tower without incident. From the top of the curtain wall you get an impressive view of the ruins, especially the sweeping balconies on each side of the once infamous prison.

The party cautiously approaches the infested tower-Uuranx and Alamin up front with Vraxel, bow at the ready and Randtam preparing a spell.
As you get closer you can smell the stench of rat filth and see a scattering of bones-lizard, bird, rabbit, even a small dog or coyote. The squeaking of the beasts get louder and you can see yellow eyes glinting out from cracks in the tower structure...watching you.
Randtam releases mystic energy and a large splash can be heard from within the tower. A squirming, roiling mass of squeaking rats swarms out of the tower, teeth flashing and claws scratching everything in its path.
Initiative!
