Folks, I've gotta hit the sack. You all know the Zirul plan of action, with buffing, and you know how he fights, if it comes to that. If we happen to get to that ship before I get back (or you want to NPC me to move things along), just know that Zirul will do his best to make sure everyone in the group has an appropriate protect/resist energy that's not fire, and once he's on the boat, in the middle of folks, he'll use the Detonate extract. Woohoo nastiness! I've got a doctor's visit tomorrow, again, so I'm not sure how long it all will take.

Air-Kal's many particles begin to condense as he shrinks and shortens, whirling like a dervish. When it's hard to tell whether it's actually Kal or a natural whirlwind, he zooms around the guards and into the room in an attempt to scoop up the flautist, after which he flies rapidly out of the building to harass the guards. The plan is to go in (as a 5' x 10' whirlwind [my minimum size]), get the bard, dump him (from 40' up) next to Luthor and Bjorkus, pick up both guards, and drop both guards from 40' up in the NE corner of the room. He then flies through the door into the building and through the east door the bard just used. Not sure what's there, so will probably need to edit a bit.

Zirul growls low, attempting to roll and weave out of the way, not able to see but still trying to keep himself alive and out of harm's way. Knowing that he must focus more on staying alive than swinging wildly, he takes a formerly unused stance.Fighting defensively, so my AC bumps to 30 for this turn, and I take -4 to attack until my next turn.

As Luthor turns his back to tend to Opal’s wounds, the sharkmen swipe at him with their weapons.

AoO: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (10) + 21 = 31

Opal wakes with a gasp as the potion does its work.

The bard moans in pain from the pummeling he’s receiving and cautiously climbs to his feet to move away.

Total defense and stand up.

From down the hallway a beautiful woman with long dark hair in a gossamer gown moves toward the Kal with a frustrated expression on her features. On her heels a pair of massively built dwarves follows.

”Flee. Now. Or you will pay the consequences" she warns.

Kal, Zirul and Opal are up.

Kal calls forth the storm, then moves back toward his companions. It's an ice storm; SE corner of AO34 should do it, I believe. No AoO since he's in total defense. Move to AA31.
