Fort: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

GM Baerlie |
Mogmurch finally frees himself and climbs out of the pie, second after Poog. Chuffy attacks Eagle 2 but did not hit hard enough to deal damage. Greta did that better, she hit Eagle 3 and cut a deep wound in his chest.
The eagles attack the two remaining goblins in the pie. But did not harm the goblins.

Eagles
Eagle 1 (killed by Chuffy)
Eagle 2
Eagle 3 -4 HP
Eagle 4 (killed by Greta)
Two goblins remain in the pie, the next who climbs out earns 3 points, but killing the two remaining eagles grants 4 points. The goblins of the tribe are excited, they start cheering for Chuffy and Greta, because they risk their lifes to kill birds. That's what they like. That's what chieftains should be made of.
GM Baerlie |
Greta kills another eagle with a single slice with her horsechopper. Chuffy swings at the eagle which attacked him, but not hard enough to kill it.
E2: 1d2 ⇒ 1
The remaining eagle attacks Greta with his beak but takes only a gulp of pie dough.
Bite Greta: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 3 - 4 = 6Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Eagle 1 (killed by Chuffy)
Eagle 2 -3 HP

Round 5

Eagle
I have to wait for Chuffy's turn before I can tell if he kills the eagle in turn 5.
GM Baerlie |
While Chuffy kills the last eagle, Greta jumps out of the pie third.
Points for dare 3:
Poog 10 points
Greta 7 points
Mogmurch 5 points
Chuffy 4 points
Overall ranking after all dares:
Chuffy: 20 Points
Mogmurch: 20 Points
Poog: 13 points
Greta: 11 Points
"We has two goblins with most points, means three rounds wrestle-your-arms between the two!" Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh shouts. The goblins prepare a table and two seats, Chuffy and Mogmurch sit down and start wrestling.
This is usual BO3 arm-Wrestling, Chuffy and Mogmurch do both three strength checks. I think thats fair, both goblins have Str 8 in the stats.
Mogmurch Boom'n'bang |
Mogmurch who fully intends to make the entire tribe, except his old chums, eat poop pie if he ends up chief sits down and adjusts his eye patch, putting his spectacles on over it. Retrieving his lucky toad he sets his lucky toad, Ambifier, atop his head and sets to wrestling with a fierce determination powered by the humiliation of nearly drowning in a pie.
Str: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (15) - 1 = 14
Str: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 16
Str: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12
Chuffy Stabs Alot |
Chuffy also pulls out his lucky toad, Fat Face, and gives it a big lick right up it's back before placing it on his head. Then, out of everyone's sight he pulls out his dogslicer and holds it in his off hand under the table for double luck.
Player blows on dice. "Come on babies don't fail me now."
Str check: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
Str check: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15
Str check: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5
After getting pinned 3 times in a row Chuffy stands up, stabs the table, and sends off a string of curse words that would have made his mother proud, especially since she taught him most of them.
Mogmurch Boom'n'bang |
Hey don't Han Solo me! ;)
Mogmurch whoops and leaps up, "Ahahahahaha! When Mogmurch chief we burn everything! We burn fifty ten hundred horses and make dogs wish they was cats! Plus Mogmurch can totally make fireworks his own self - probably!"
GM Baerlie |
As promised by Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh Mogmurch is selected to be the new chieftain of the Birdcrunchers tribe. The three other goblins become subchieftains. Mogmurch gets to wear the Crunchy Crown*. In addition, the new chieftain and any subchieftains get to loot the tribe's treasure chest. This large and filthy chest contain art objects, trophies, jars of pickles, shiny rocks, dented armor fragments, broken dogslicers, and bird parts in various stages of decay. The following items are of particular interest: four potions ef cure moderate wounds, a potion of fire resistance, a wand of lesser restoration (9 charges), a +1 flaming dogslicer, a small cloak of elvenkind, a bead of force, a necklace of fireballs (type I), and 5 ounces of sovereign glue.
This crown is a nonmagical hat, but nonetheless grants a +2 bonus on all Intimidate checks made against Birdcruncher goblins while it's worn.
For the rest of the evening, the Birdcrunchers are in a celebratory mood-they have a new leader, after all! During this time, the chieftain and subchieftains are the focus of goblin pandemonium. Some of the subjects prostrate themselves before the new leaders, moistening their feet with kisses and runny noses, while others scream and sob and bring gifts of food and offers of goblin frolicking. Goblin after goblin comes forward to try to impress the new leaders-by juggling live stoats, by head-butting stumps, and particularly, by setting things on fire ... themselves included.
The Birdcrunchers expect their new leader to head out the very next day to challenge and, hopefully, defeat or drive off the ogre known as Pa Munchmeat. Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh has a few words of advice for the chieftain (and subchieftains) before they set off - she warns them that the fire-breathing pigs breathe fire, and that Pa Munchmeat hits hard. He also casts spooky plant spells and has a mean daughter with a pet weasel bigger than a horse, and there might be other monsters living on the farm as well. She gives the four goblins a crude map of the area that shows the way to Pa Munchmeat's farm before shooing them on their way, implying (if not outright saying) that they shouldn't bother returning to the Birdcrunchers until the task is done.
GM Baerlie |
The Munchmeat Farm lies about two-thirds of a mile from the Birdcruncher village. As the bird flies, it's a relatively short distance; on foot through the trackless tors, it's an hour-long walk to get to the farm. About 45 minutes into the walk, the goblins have approached close enough to the farm that they attract the attention of Pa Munchmeat's animal companion Piggy.
Init Greta: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Init Chuffy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Init Poog: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Init Mogmurch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Piggy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Round 1
Poog
Greta
Chuffy
Mogmurch
Piggy
Mogmurch Boom'n'bang |
Eyes wide Mogmurch lifts the necklace of fireballs and bead of force, glancing at his friends to see if any look distressed by his selections.
"We go tomorrow! Mogmurch needs make more fire and tomorrow we have fire pig roast!"
Mogmurch Boom'n'bang |
They were only borrowed, we had to give them back - In We Be Goblins - so if its not on the character sheet you do not have it. Probably makes most sense for Chuffy. Greta has lots of magic arrows Chuffy has no magic.
How about Cloak for Greta, Wand and potion of fire resistance for Poog, Flaming Dogslicer for Chuffy, necklace of fireballs for Mogmurch? Me taking the bead of force might be a bit much maybe Poog should take it?
Mogmurch Boom'n'bang |
Mogmurch rushes forward pulling a bomb from his disreputable clothing and hurling it at the massive pig. His bomb hits home and flames engulf the hog! Though Mogmurch wonders if a firebreathing piggy will be hurt by fire.
"You should be Mogmurch's pet!"
Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 Damage: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 6) + 2 = 10
Chuffy Stabs Alot |
Sorry for lack of posting yesterday, crazy day being Mother's Day and all. Greta if you want the flaming sword that's fine with me, I would prefer the Cloak anyways it would help with my sneak attacks. And I'm guessing we will all grab a cure moderate wounds.
Chuffy flips up the hood of his new cloak and starts to sneak.
Stealth check: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (3) + 23 = 26
If I'm not mistaken you can only do a single move while stealing so Chuffy will move 4 spaces to the north east.
GM Baerlie |
While Mogmurch, Poog and Greta attack the pig, Chuffy hides behind a bush.
Piggy comes closer and burps fire on the goblins (15 ft. cone). Everyone in the cone (black border) takes Fire Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4 fire damage (DC 12 reflex save for half damage).
Round 2
Poog
Greta
Chuffy
Mogmurch
Piggy -29 HP
Chuffy Stabs Alot |
Finally in front of a computer and was able to move Chuffy, just in time for a second movement.
Stealth check: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (16) + 23 = 39
Chuffy sneaks in behind the piggy and stabs it with his dogslicer.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
All that sneaking around and I still don't get my sneak attack bonus.
