you missed Vinnick, Alchemist/rogue/barbarian

How would one get 3 classes? I said gestalt, not tristalt.

I didn't see crunch, just some background, so I assumed it was incomplete.

True, never fully finalized crunch as I had been waiting on a response to a couple PM questions, and have yet to find time to finish up his crunch. Luckily crunch is the easiest though. My alchemist will be a generalist, good at melee and close-mid range but not excelling at either. Also will provide healing and a less... Fanatical mindset :P

And I'm not, I merely forgot to note he would be multicasting rogue later on. Crunch will be up tonight.

4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 3, 4) = 19 16
4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 4, 6) = 20 16
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 2, 2) = 11 09
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 3, 5) = 14 12
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 3) = 20 17
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 6, 3) = 12 11

because I don't think I ever rolled.

Background:

1- background story.

Vinnick was born and raised in talingarde, out of the norm for elves, his parents worked as merchants. Vinnick at the age of 15, was given a magic tutor, and for 10 years he studied and trained but was never able to produce Even the simplest of cantrips. Indeed, his father, such was his disappointment, all but gave up on his son, calling him a disgrace and magically inept, for his father was himself, a fairly powerful wizard. That never sat well with vinnick, being pitied by his mother, and seen as weak and useless by his father, so he decided that he would make them respect him. He turned to alchemy for this. Magic, he never grasped, but science, science and mixtures was something that came easy to Vinnick.

Vinnick was fascinated with, not only the poisons and their effects on organic matter, but with the aspect of being able to forcefully change his own biology.

Finally, one day, after a couple years of study, he created a concoction that he believed, could do just that. He went to the city, and after much pestering, was allowed a public presentation. Alas, when he drank his mixture, It worked as well as he had hoped, he grew in size, his muscles bulged, his fingers became claw like, and his teeth sharpened. The crowd gasped in both awe, and terror. However it also affected him, in another way. His mental thoughts seemed slower, as if moving through water, and he was hungry. He looked at the people in the crowd, and saw meals. He killed about 4 people that day with his bare hands, and had drank the blood of them. And upon the mixtures affects wearing off, instead of being disgusted or horrified, Vinnick, was ecstatic. He had loved it, he had torn men apart with nothing but his hands, his mixture had proven more effective than he ever thought possible! The deaths were an unfortunate side effect, needed sacrifices on the road to progress and brighter days. But when he was found by the guard, they did not share those thoughts. He was tried for murder, and found guilty, indeed, he admitted the fact himself, he had relished in it while he had done it, the power had been so... thrilling. However, he was unsure of the affects it had on his mind. He needed more time, more testing, one day he sought to create something that could, if desired, be permanent, and one that perhaps did not slow his thoughts.

However, As the thought and promise of death loomed over him. He began to fear that. He wanted nothing more than to advance his studies and works. However, he thought, if it all ended with his death, what point to it was there? What meaning did it have if when he passed it all was for naught? No, he decided he would have to become immortal. To create meaning in his actions, to allow him to study and grow forever, to constantly improve himself, and possibly the world. Every so often, he is still chilled to the bone at the thought that, perhaps, even then all things are meaningless. He steels himself at these moments. For that thought, is perhaps the most terrifying of all.

While he enjoys the power his "mutagen" gives him, he prefers to normally stay in the form he was born in.. for now. Until he can discover a way to keep it from clouding his mind and raising a bloodthirst in him. (basically, I think I am going to play it as him raging only, or only mostly, during his mutagen uses)
Part 2 goals-

Vinnick feels that the people of Talingarde are being blinded by the royals, they can't see progress for what it is, and what it is worth. He will change this, and any that are to stupid, or that have fooled themselves into thinking it is wrong will be dealt with.

He seeks to perfect his science, to create a mixture so powerful, that he can become high unstoppable, and immortal. Immortality, after all, he can make so many advances in the world, for him to die would be, well, a tragedy, a loss the world cannot suffer.

Vinnick still hasn't gotten his father's respect yet... but he will.

Vinnick seeks a means of immortality, he fears death almost more than anything, but his drive to work on his goals drives him more than his fear hinders him.

3- secrets

Known to Vinnick, his father works for the government and is a follow of Mitra. He is a higher ranking officer in the kingdom. However his father is also part of the black market, filling his pockets in the lucrative trade therein

Not known to Vinnick, the tutor that taught Vinnick was the one that had started him on his path, he had seen the potential of the lad, however, just who this tutor really was, no one is sure. Perhaps someone that will seek to make use of Vinnicks abilities... (Except the DM)

People Vinnick is tied to.

Tutor, vinnicks tutor is indeed, the one that gave the Lad alchemy books, and had even suggested practicing a tad less caution than the books called for.

Vinnicks father. A renowned mage of Talingarde, as well as of the Knights of Mitra. Sees his sun as a disgrace and a nuisance after being put under inspection for his sons crimes.

Alaria Rydell, a half elf woman that grew up with Vinnick. A year younger by birth, she had always had a crush on Vinnick and by the time they were in their twenties, it had blossomed to love. She admired his determination, drive, and his looks. She had joined the order and was training as a cleric, and when she heard of Vinnick's crime could not believe it. She had rushed to his cell, asking him for the truth, when he told her he had done it, and even enjoyed it. He told her his ideals, she was struck speechless, after that she ran from the prison, as he tried called her back. However, even now, she still loves him, and a thought gnaws at her mind "what if he is right.."

Mannerisms and quirks-

Vinnick has developed a certain aspect of thinking about things one way and had a hard time trying to see things from others veiwpoints.

Vinnick has a tick, that when he is concentrating on something he has a habit of tapping his right foot, or drumming his fingers.

When he talks about things that interest him he seems full of life, but when forced to discuss matters he feels either pointless, beneath him, or useless he becomes irritable, frustrated, and often aloof.

Vinnick believes that every book and tome is a well of knowledge until proven otherwise.

He views the moral Complications of life as roadblocks and nothing but obstacles in the way of progress. Obstacles that can, and should, be easily overcome.

Vinnick, while capable of lieing well often doesn't know when a lie is needed, or speaks bluntly before he really worries about it due to him thinking about something else.

Questionnaire:(stolen from another GM)

1.How does your character interact with the others within a group?

A- fairly well, as long as they don't mock or look down on his work, if they show interest he quickly Attempts to befriend them and then drown them in his ponderings and ideas.

2. What is your character's role in a group?

A- Depends, he can do everything decently, secondary front line melee, secondary ranged, secondary healing, secondary buffing. Leaning more towards "Hyde" ATM the though, but can go bomber if need be.

3. How is your character not as they seems? I want one or two skills that would surprise others if they found out he knows them. Also include personality traits, positive or negative, that would similarly surprise others.

A- I designed him to be mostly "as you see me " but a good assumption would be that his often driven, childlike, almost playful nature hides the fact that he doesn't mind killing a person, or even enjoys the thrill and rush of it.

4. What are your character's goals, conscious and, perhaps, subconscious?
Immortality, knowledge of all things, power, for his work to be accepted (subconcious)

5. How easily does your character love? Have they been in love?

He still has child like tendencies, but when he makes time for it, is quite the hopeless romantic. He loved Alaria. He has also sworn to himself to not enjoy the physical "pleasures" with another unless he deems them worthy.

6. Is your character racist at all, either now or in their past?
Nope. He may make remarks, but those are centered around a curiosity of their reactions to his... tests.

7. All people believe something that is not true, both about the world around them and about themselves. What lies/untruths does your character believe about themselves and the world around them?

He believes there is no good or evil, that morality is but a wall placed by those that wish to keep the status quo, he also beleives that his actions and research will make or break the world as a whole.

8. How is your character about material possessions?

Doesn't care really, but he knows that money makes things easier, especially when it comes to experimenting and studying. He also knows how powerful money can be, and so rarely passes the chance up for some "easy" money

9. What does your character perceive their major problems to be?
His major problem that he sees in himself is that he is not smart enough, he thinks he needs to be smarter, and to know more things, and he fears he may never do it.

10. What does he perceive the solutions to those problems to be?

Study, experiment, travel, and experience.

Appearance and Personality:

He is fairly cold, and logical, he isn't unfeeling, but rather experiences emotions differently than other people. His reserved nature only works to amplify this fact. He is more interested in research and study than experience. Often following the question of "can we" rather than "should we". He also enjoys provoking people to see how they react to certain stimuli. However, he is much less logical, and experiences emotions much stronger while under the effects of his mutagen. He also has a tendancy of minor bloodlust while under the effects of his mutagen save to those he views as friends. Or at least as people worth having around. In other words, while under the mutagen effect he is about the opposite of himself personality wise, if not goal wise.

For this guy, I will be flavoring his rage and mutagen together. I will likely rarely rage outside of him also using his mutagen. I see his mutagen both as an alchemical item that boosts his physical abilities, but it also brings out his inherit magical abilities(as such, I think arcane bloodline will fit well). I also will be flavoring his mutagen self as being resistant to spells and magical effects (which is why I took the Untouchable rager archetype). Eventually I will go into Mad Chymist to allow his mutagen self to take on a more... bloodthirsty character.

Now see...I had a few ideas for this gestalt thing, but my prestige class I want to go into includes being given the Leadership feat. Not immediately, but it does receive it. Is the Leadership feat banned?

I've decided I'm accepting 5-6 players, including 1-2 irl friends.

Also, the leadership feat is modified. You still get a cohort, but not followers.

Sczarni

Good to know. My prestige class doesn't care if I were to somehow lose all of my followers to a city under fire anyway. But alright, that opens up a nice, flavorful class option.

What time is the cutoff tomorrow? I want to write another draft of my background before I submit.

I'm going to be working my character... it's a good idea to wait a few days after closeing to let people get ready.

Sczarni

First, we roll.
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 6) = 23
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 6, 4) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 5, 1) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 3) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 3, 5) = 12
4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 4) = 12

Then we edit.
18, 14, 17, 14, 11, 11. Not bad, not bad at all.

SPECIAL ABILITIES
------------------------------
Phrenic Pool 4/day
Challenge 1/day
Resolve 1/day

Knacks: Psychics learn a number of knacks, or 0-level spells, as noted on Table 1–8. These spells are cast like any other spell, but they don’t consume any slots and can be used again. Knacks cast using other spell slots (due to metamagic feats, for example) consume spell slots as normal.

Phrenic Pool (Su): A psychic has a pool of supernatural mental energy that she can draw upon to manipulate psychic spells as she casts them. The maximum number of points in a psychic’s phrenic pool is equal to 1/2 her psychic level + her Wisdom or Charisma modifier, as determined by her psychic discipline. The phrenic pool is replenished each morning after 8 hours of rest or meditation; these hours don’t need to be consecutive. The psychic might be able to recharge points in her phrenic pool in additional circumstances dictated by her psychic discipline. Points gained in excess of the pool’s maximum are lost.

Phrenic Amplifications: A psychic develops particular techniques to empower her spellcasting, called phrenic amplifications. The psychic can activate a phrenic amplification only while casting a spell using psychic magic, and the amplification modifies either the spell’s effects or the process of casting it. The spell being cast is called the linked spell. The psychic can activate only one amplification each time she casts a spell, and doing so is part of the action used to cast the spell. She can use any amplification she knows with any psychic spell, unless the amplification’s description states that it can be linked only to certain types of spells. A psychic learns one phrenic amplification at 1st level, selected from the list below. At 3rd level and every 4 levels thereafter, the psychic learns a new phrenic amplification. A phrenic amplification can’t be selected more than once. Once a phrenic amplification has been selected, it can’t be changed. Phrenic amplifications require the psychic to expend 1 or more points from her phrenic pool to function.

Past-Life Memories (Ex): You add a bonus equal to half your psychic level (minimum 1) to all Knowledge checks and can attempt all Knowledge skill checks untrained.

Physical Mutation (Su): A mutation mind’s psychic powers warp her body, allowing her to physically mutate herself as a swift action, which grants her a +4 enhancement bonus to Strength and a –2 penalty to Intelligence. At 12th level, the bonus to Strength increases to +6. A mutation mind can assume her physically mutated form for a number of minutes per day equal to her psychic level. The minutes don’t have to be used consecutively, but must be used in 1-minute increments. When the duration runs out, the mutation mind can spend 1 point from her phrenic pool to extend the duration by 1 round. She can continue extending it in this way until she runs out of points. After the mutation ends, the mutation mind is fatigued and can’t activate a physical mutation again for 1 round. Turning back to normal before the end of a 1-minute increment takes a standard action. This ability replaces the 1st-level phrenic amplification.

Challenge (Ex): Once per day, a samurai can challenge a foe to combat. As a swift action, the samurai chooses one target within sight to challenge. The samurai's melee attacks deal extra damage when made against the target of his challenge. This extra damage is equal to the samurai's level. The samurai can use this ability once per day at 1st level, plus one additional time per day for every three levels beyond 1st, to a maximum of seven times per day at 19th level.

Mount (Ex): A samurai gains the service of a loyal and trusty steed to carry him into battle. This mount functions as a druid's animal companion, using the samurai's level as his effective druid level. The creature must be one that he is capable of riding and that is suitable as a mount. A Medium samurai can select a camel or a horse. A Small samurai can select a pony or a wolf, but can also select a boar or a dog if he is at least 4th level. The GM may approve other animals as suitable mounts.

A samurai does not take an armor check penalty on Ride checks while riding his mount. The mount is always considered combat trained and begins play with Light Armor Proficiency as a bonus feat. A samurai's mount does not gain the share spells special ability.

A samurai's bond with his mount is strong, with the pair learning to anticipate each other's moods and moves. Should a samurai's mount die, the samurai may find another mount to serve him after 1 week of mourning. The new mount does not gain the link, evasion, devotion, or improved evasion special abilities until the next time the samurai gains a level.

Order (Ex): At 1st level, a samurai must pledge himself to a specific order, typically the order of the warrior. The order grants the samurai a number of bonuses, class skills, and special abilities. In addition, each order includes a number of edicts the samurai must follow. If he violates these edicts, he loses the benefits of his order's challenge ability for 24 hours. The violation of an edict is subject to GM interpretation.

Resolve (Ex): Starting at 1st level, the samurai gains resolve that he can call upon to endure even the most devastating wounds and afflictions. He can use this ability once per day at 1st level, plus one additional time per day for every two samurai levels beyond 1st. Whenever the samurai defeats the target of his challenge, he regains one daily use of his resolve, up to his maximum number of uses per day. Defeating the target of his challenge usually involves reducing the target to 0 hit points or fewer, but the GM might rule that an enemy who surrenders or flees the battle is also defeated. He can use this resolve in a number of ways.

Determined: As a standard action, the samurai can spend one use of his resolve to remove the fatigued, shaken, or sickened condition. If the samurai is at least 8th level, he can alternatively remove the exhausted, frightened, nauseated, or staggered condition. If the condition has a duration longer than 1 hour or is permanent, this ability removes the condition for 1 hour, at which time the condition returns.

Resolute: Whenever the samurai is required to make a Fortitude or Will save, he can spend one use of his resolve as an immediate action to roll twice and take the better result. He must decide to use this ability before he rolls the saving throw.

Unstoppable: When the samurai is reduced to fewer than 0 hit points but not slain, he can spend one use of his resolve as an immediate action to instantly stabilize and remain conscious. He is staggered, but he does not fall unconscious and begin dying if he takes a standard action. He does fall unconscious if he takes additional damage from any source.

Order of the Flame

Source Blood of the Elements pg. 7 (Amazon)
A cavalier of the order of the flame devotes his life to the pursuit of personal glory. Even if such pursuit puts his own life on the line, the cavalier pursues legendary status and the fame and glory associated with such renown.

Edicts: The cavalier must pursue glory for himself and those with whom he associates. He must strive to heap glory upon his name, no matter the costs. He must challenge and defeat an ever-increasing host of rivals to further cement his illustrious reputation.

Challenge: A cavalier of the order of the flame becomes ever more emboldened with each glorious victory. As an immediate action after reducing the target of his challenge to 0 hit points or fewer, the cavalier can elect to issue a glorious challenge to an opponent within 15 feet.

Glorious Challenge: A glorious challenge does not count against the cavalier’s number of challenges per day, but otherwise acts like a cavalier’s challenge class feature. When he issues a glorious challenge, the cavalier takes a –2 penalty to AC for the duration of the glorious challenge (this penalty stacks with the usual –2 AC penalty against opponents other than the target of the cavalier’s challenge). The cavalier gains a morale bonus on melee damage rolls against the target of his glorious challenge equal to 2 × the number of consecutive glorious challenges he has issued thus far. As long as he continues to defeat targets of his glorious challenges and there are more opponents in range, the cavalier can continue to issue glorious challenges indefinitely, with the penalty to AC and the bonus on damage rolls increasing with each subsequent foe. For example, a 5th-level cavalier that has just issued his third glorious challenge after defeating the original target of his challenge takes a –6 penalty to AC (–8 against creatures other than the target of his glorious challenge) and gains a +11 bonus on melee damage rolls (a +5 bonus from his base challenge ability plus a +6 morale bonus for three consecutive glorious challenges).

Skills: A cavalier of the order of the flame adds Knowledge (local) and Survival to his class skills. Whenever the cavalier’s current hit point total matches or exceeds his maximum hit point total, he gains a bonus on Intimidate checks equal to 1/2 his cavalier level (minimum +1).

Vahan Gevorgian's Fluff:

Vahan was a simple lad, but a bright lad. He beat his father in chess everyday, once the farm work was done and the sun went down. His father was a semi-retired crusader and instructed his son in warfare; his business and area of expertise. Vahan loved his old man's tales of storming the holy city and all the places that he visited. And he would never forget to mention how he rescued Vahan's mother from the clutches of evil slave traders and how they fell madly in love after that day.

If was with these stories of grandeur that he wanted to be like his father, a crusader! So his father enlisted him with what money they could scrounge up, in the most respected military academy. He struggled at first, but eventually, his bright, young mind picked up all the correct ways to fight and take notes, and cheat a little with his hidden talents, as he called them. His opponent's shoe buckle would tie itself and trip them, or sometimes the charging horse of the other student would smell something strong and dangerous and buck them off.

But nobody expected it was Vahan's doing, as the war wizards of the academy couldn't catch Vahan performing magic gestures or uttering anything at all. It was just dumb luck that pulled him to the top of the class. And that's where he sat, much to the dismay of all the jealous pupils; and there were many, many jealous pupils.

Then the day came when he graduated, with top honors. His horseman ship far exceeded that of the ordinary soldier, and he was the happiest cadet in that red-carpeted room. Then the day came when he was shipped off to recapture a city that had fallen to religious fanatics, so he was told. So he, and quite a few of the other cadets, were chosen for the mission of securing the religious order's head as proof of his death.

His general was a lawful, but mean old man that barked all the time. Whenever a cadet questioned him, he'd hit them across the cheek, tell them to step back in line. Things were going sour, but soon to pick up as they neared the city's walls. 45 days of siege warfare. Catapults, rams, stone walls, and fiery coals being dumped onto those brave few that climbed up ladders. Rats ate at the bodies, in the ditches that Vahan had dug, with the others. Vahan tried to sleep through it, but always had the nightmare of having a stray bolt collide into his down-facing skull.

The siege finally broke, and the remaining army stormed in. They spread out through the cities, dragging out the "fanatics" and killing them in the streets. Women, children, men with weapons but no armor. They killed all of them. Vahan always stayed around those that he knew were slower than him, that could be moved to intercept hits for him...and he did. He was the only survivor through the mess in the streets, of his squad, but he had killed so many. When it came down to it, he neared the manor that the leader of the group was said to live.

Riding his horse forward, he nailed the guards in the chest with his throwing axes and dismounted, striding into the compound. His weapon was ready, in his hand, to murder for the greater good...but when he climbed the stairs, all he found was a man surrounded by his children and wives. The man forced all of his family behind him, his sword arm ready, but he did the strangest thing. He threw the blade down and stared Vahan in the eyes. These were not fanatical people, if their leader wasn't...between the shouting of the strange language, Vahan slowly recalled everything, all the way back to his general's orders.

These people were not fanatics; he had been lied to. So he took the leader's sword and stepped away from the man. Told him that he respected him and that there wasn't any glory in killing an unarmed man. But to think of the infamy of the man who walked away...it was tantalizing. But he did more than that! Oho, when he returned to his general, who was smoking a cigar in his tent, why, he marched on in tossed the leader's blade onto the dirt. His general was so loud, so fast, and asked what the meaning of this was. Vahan growled out that the general lied to him. The two guards outside stepped in and Vahan flipped, managing to kill both of the young cadets easily (he had plenty of combat experience over them), but the general stabbed him in the back with the blade he had thrown.

Staggering forward, Vahan turned around. There aren't any more mean generals in the mainland...because Vahan strangled that surprised man, bleeding all over him. After the deed was done, Vahan stumbled about, for about 20 feet, before he collapsed and was found by some returning cadets. Vahan's blood was all over the general's body, and the blade nearby, that it was clear to see that he had been the one to do him in.

They called it High Treason and Desertion. The irony being that he was a horseman, sentenced to being drawn and quartered (probably by his own horse).

I know I said I would go with a 20 buy but, As I am waiting lets just bust this thing open and risk it with a roll.

4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 3, 6) = 13 = 12 [2p]
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 5, 6) = 21 = 17 [13p
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 2, 6) = 14 = 13 [3p]
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 6, 2) = 18 = 16 [10p]

That is a 40 point buy Yikes!!! [Edit: Well just added that to Rosa and it did a sunning small amount to her, as in fact the odd numbers add nothing and she was a 25 point buy.]

I know she may come over as weak compered with some others, being half a magic user and half a combat type, but she has skills and later when her Ninja kicks in fully my hope is she will come into her own. From the get go, its going to be her wits that keep her out of harms way.

Here's my submission: A Taninim (Feykin) Warpriest / (Feral) Hunter

Ah, the level of villainy I see on this thread is glorious. Truly, I would be pleased to be villainous with any of you.

I too believe we will have some great evil fun ahead

Is this recruitment still open? If so, I have this guy mostly done. I still need to choose his crimes and finish his backstory.

No choices have been made yet, so I would guess you have a little time if you hurry.

With a name like "Yaswick the Smiler", I think murder would end up being one of his crimes, by using a knife to carve a smile into their face once his victim is dead as his signature.

Why so serious?

Recruitment is definitely still open. It's still wednesday over here, & probably be friday for some people when I close submissions.

Been going over the Android Ninja - Nanoshade class and I am shocked I have never seen it played ever on here or in a game. Its a really neat idea.

In nutshell While androids, ensouled as they are, can harness and manipulate ki just as any other race can, the subtle nature of meditation can prove difficult for them. As such, over the centuries, a discipline has arisen among androids that superficially resembles the arts of ninjutsu. Where traditional ninjas harness their inner ki much as monks do, android nanoshades instead learn to master the nanites infused in their bodies.

Oo love that a sub ninjutsu like cult in the already super secretive world of soul owning Androids. A cult that has metal wombs hidden away and over the years a few Android killers are made to raise coin and do a set task for the cult. O so very dark and grim. To the few Androids made, Killing organics is an art form. Showing off their craft to each other.

That is so very very sick, and so going in her back story.

I mean, not all games allow third party sources and it's in an obscure part of the srd. It could also just be people not enjoying Sci-Fi in their Fantasy.

One of my friends join the game won't be posting in this thread. I worked out his character with him irl. He's going to post in the gameplay & discussion when I have those up though.

Rewrite of my background complete. It got a little long, hope you enjoy the read.

Good luck to all the applicants!

It's not 3ed party or an obscure part of the srd. It's paizo published for setting, background and campain, all legit. But I will check, If it is I will rewrite.

GM is the race ok, if not I am more thsn happy to change it.

As for Sci-Fi, was not really going for that. In a world of interplanel travel and secret Knowledge, my idea is more a kind of dark construction art. LIKE soul stone dolls.

My idea was Just had the idea and offer a counter point to a possible all organic / dragon type party. Get some exstram race diversity in there.

But most of all, I like her the idea of her. A Thing that kills, not for power, emotion or gain but for the craft if it, the art of it. The asphetics of killing. I just think she will be a lot of fun to play.

Ok so android is not 3ed party but a playable race, its from bestiary No5. however nanoshade is 3pp from Book-of-Heroic-Races-Advanced-Androids. My mistake, So I will drop nanoshade, and rewrite Rosa to fit the setting more, and be less SF.

Alright. I'll give this a shot:

Victor Wangalin, Oracle of Life/Antipaladin (Tyrant, Dread Vanguard)

Backstory stuff:
Victor Wangalin, son of a small-time noble, was energetic from an early age. At age 13 he discovered his natural healing talents, and by age 16 he was an informal member of the Hospitalar division of the Knights of Saint Macarius. Victor spent many years tending to the sick of Talingarde, but by age 21 he decided that his talents were best served away from the relatively peaceful and idyllic country, and he began his journey abroad to help heal the world.

His travels eventually led him to a small nation in another part of the world, beset by civil war. The Demon-backed rebels were well-entrenched in the countryside, and started terrorizing everything they could get their hands on. Victor initially served as a medic, keeping the loyalist forces and civilians healthy as best as he could, but overtime he began to take a more and more active role in the conflict. It started with defending his medical camps, but eventually escalated to the point where he his natural leadership earned him an active commission in the military. As the conflict continued, Victor became increasingly disillusioned with the Goodness he previously swore to uphold, and the cruel necessities of war began eating away at his righteousness. His many minor crimes of convenience and practicality piling up eventually forced his fall from Mitran favor right as the rebels were making their final push. Unwilling to abandon the nation to its fate, he sought aid from the one source still willing to help him: Asmodeus. He pledged his soul and aid in exchange for returning his divine powers, charring his hands and arms with hellish fire in the process, leaving them perpetually blackened and scarred. But it was enough to hold back the tide, and eventually bring the war to an end. By the end he had resorted to brutally impaling any captured rebels and leaving them in the wilderness as a warning to others. His cruel hand had won and secured peace for the small nation, but had sacrificed everything good left in his soul to do so.

Victor eventually returned to Talingard, but was immediately confronted for his crimes and his betrayal of Mitra. He lambasted his former colleagues, calling them cowards and claiming that their weakness was the true cause of all of the world's suffering. The event eventually led to blows, and now Victor has been sent to prison for his Heresy, hushed up to avoid the public spectacle of a trial of a former Knight of Saint Macarius.

Now, he languishes in his cell, knowing that all of Talingarde will soon fall if it is only protected by these petty followers of Mitra. The only thing that could save mankind from its own darkness is the iron fist of true power, wielded by a well-oiled organizational machine free of self-destroying moral restraints. If only he could find some way to show them all the errors of their ways . . .

I had a really hard think and I think android is all wrong for the setting. Just dose not fit, the Idea for Rosa is nice but has to fit the setting. So, as you can see by the change of image, I have now made her a Drow Noble - V feat drow-nobility [So she is the 14 point Drow not the 41, point Drow]

Her backround is a little changed, and some of her crunch but not to much.

Awww, I'm a little sad about that. I liked the android killing machine, it would've been neat to see how she grew and developed as a character if selected.

Regardless though, I'm sure it'll be good to see the roleplay if you're selected Rosa :D

I too was was hoping the 2 of us would get selected so I could see how an android could work with a bunch of "fleshies".

My thought was more like Daniel Craig's character in Road to Perdition, who when asked by the little boy, "Why are you always smiling?" replied, "'Cause its all so ****ing hysterical."

It is he who is always smiling, not his victims.

Ah, I see. That gives me a much clearer picture.

I still think murder is a good stand-by for a crime, but abduction might be nice for you, as well.

I have a backup character =^^=
Duel wielding pistolero goblin =^^=
Bang bang! I shot the sheriff... and a lot of others too....

Yes, I finished the crunch of the character just a bit ago, and wrote up a cursory backstory which I will probably add to. His father was a good-hearted man, but a revolutionary who wanted to remove the monarchy. He was hanged, causing Yaswick to become radicalized and bitter.

He eventually led a group of insurgents in kidnapping and murdering some guards in the capitol city. He was the only survivor when they stormed the building, and was charged with murder and high treason.

Now I feel a putts, I to really like her as a android, I just got cold feet. I kind of asked the GM if the race was ok, I don't think he said yes or no. With another player flag-ings she could be a a little to SiFi I got worried, her race may mean she did not make the party, and I really want to see how she plays out.

However I have an idea, I have both PCs outlined, I would not Noramily do But I will place both here and in that way let the GM have the pick, if any of Rosa, 'Drow' or Rosa android. I know this is cheeky a little but its not really cheating in the way of offering multiple PCs for a game, as they are both 95% the same but for race.

Let the dice fall as they shall.

Here is android Rosa

And Drow Rosa

After a bit of thought, I think I'm going to withdraw from consideration. Thank you for the opportunity; best of luck to all.

Cutoff reached.
My choices are:
Rosa the Android
Shinyai, the Quick Handed
Yaswick the Smiler
Rixis Whight
My friend, who I worked with IRL. He didn't post in this thread.

Edit: & YoricksRequiem. Had you on my list of top candidates, just forgot to put you here.

Congrats, team! Knock 'em dead.

Whooo hoo, thanks GM, made my day.

Some great PCs, really great. Good luck and see you in other games everyone.

EDIT: YoricksRequiem, I will edit G’mork into her back story, as a hireling of hers who just did not leave for his own reasons, if that is ok, If you wish to change that, I am happy too.

Just edited my previous post to include YoricksRequiem.
