I have said this in the past, but it bears repeating, especially for everyone's posts in the last few weeks - I would feel silly favoriting every single post that is made, but they are amazing and make me look forward to continuing.
I won't be around to post for the next couple days. Monday is my likeliest next opportunity.

World building ahoy! Skip if you are not interested in the details of what the skald colleges of Forge look like.
--The three main colleges align with the three parts of the ifrit armies, represented by spear (infantry), sword (paladins), and lance (cavalry).
1) Eterno Tamburo (the Undying Drums)
Aligned with infantry
Drums
Endurance, determination, marching
(will roughly use the Undying Words archetype)
2) Duello Poeti (Poets of the Duel)
Aligned with paladins
Operatic song-poetry
Nobility, honor, inspiring
(will roughly use Battle Scion archetype)
3) Cornicello Fortuna (the Lucky Horns)
Aligned with cavalry
Hunting horns (from rare horned pogona)
Fearless, heedless, charging
(will roughly use Herald of the Horn archetype)
4) There is also one college that is aligned with the temple.

I have no idea how I will be on Wednesday, I had a tooth break and am getting that fixed. And on Thursday I should be on intermittently assuming the family doesn't decide to travel far way for fireworks. I may be able to get out of that with the tooth thing. I hate trips and am not fond of fireworks.

I drew a map of Forest a while back (the other table is doing a fair bit of exploring up there), and I know I'm never going to bother to covert it to a google drawing like the rest of the maps, so here it is. I figure with two oreads in the party now you have access to all this general info anyway.

Hi all - I'm definitely around, I'm guessing the holiday has got us posting a little less (which is fine).
It looks like Ibinu, Sequoya, and Kallik are having a conversation right now which I don't want to interrupt, so I will be looking for the next opportunity (hopefully today or tomorrow) to move us forward.
Took a little longer for me to get back into the swing than I'd anticipated. Sorry :-(
Good news is the wife has gotten a new ortho doctor that's going to actually get the ball rolling on what needs to be done.

For clarity's sake - the descriptions of the "emotion" of the smoke is Ibinu's impression, which I assume he would pass on. Saves the trouble of spoilering everything and having Ibinu repeat it, etc.
I'm asking from Ibinu's point of knowledge.
Is there a concept of both heaven and hell in this world?
Or is there just one afterlife for each deity?
If just one, is it 'all go here' or a 'only the worthy go here and the unworthy simply stop existing?'
I also understand that his understanding of things may also not be correct, but what would he know that would be commonly taught in the material world?
From Ibinu's, and most elens' point of view:
--The concept of heaven and hell exist, so you'd better be in at least decent standing with your deity (which varies from god to god)
--So the "heaven" for ifrits would be Ignoscoeli
--The "hell" varies, but is actually someone else's plane (so for instance a different part of Igniscoeli is "hell" for undines, and possibly certain traitorous ifrits too)
And yes, this is more or less that is commonly known. The "hell" part seems easy to confirm - the dangerous parts of Igniscoeli are easier to access. You have not read or heard anything that definitively confirms the heavenly parts though - those are guarded, or secret, etc.
Heads up in case I disappear for a few days:
My grandmother that's been on hospice since the beginning of the year has taken a turn. Unsure at this point if it's hours or days left.
At the very least, I'll keep Ibinu updated so he can share with you if the inevitable comes and I'm unable to post.

Is there anyone here who is actually wearing metal armor? I think the answer is 'no' (inam obsidian ; sequoya tree/hardwood armor ; inibu dark armor ; kallik leather?)

The description says it is an improved version of leather armor, so any metal in there is miniscule. This is a case I want it to be simple, and saying "leather armor" of any kind is not metal is fine with me.

my keyboard is hella messed up and i am not sure when I can get a plug in one for laptop. and getting the keyboard fixed is expensive. i am here but having technical issues
2. I handle Social Media for a tri-state telecommunications company and a lightning strike killed a server on Monday affecting thousands. It's been nuts.

One of the reasons I think we've done so well as a campaign is our mutual willingness to slow down, bot, hiatus, etc, when RL stuff happens. Thanks for keeping me informed everyone, and I am just going to let the scene sit over the weekend, planning on moving forward on Monday.
(still happy to RP with Sshunss-Lak-Sa or Ssuh-Luhss though)
