Sorry for the long delay in response. Saw your post yesterday but kept going back and forth trying to decide how to respond.

I suspect Inam is about to die here...but she would only risk herself if it came down to it.

For the record Ibinu, she is risking herself for So Khong...not for the Dragon. :-P

I think without intending to do so, that became an extended skill challenge of sorts. Well done everyone - that was fun!

I value transparency in PbP, so as a friendly reminder - if the way one of my NPCs is acting is seriously bothering you the player, please let me know. So Khong is particularly...prickly, and I value everyone having fun more than anything else, so just let me know if he is too much.

(I think I said this same thing when I first introduced So Khong, so it's good to throw it out there now, too, with a new player)

Kallik - you can take your action (like casting mirror image) if you would like. There was time for sequoya to get into flanking position, so there should have been time for you to do something too.

(and for that matter Inam, you can post your actions when you get a chance as well even though the scorpions aren't quite done. I know you all have limited times to post)

My original "play by email" of Volcano was a little shy of 2 years, so this one is the official king of all my campaigns.

Sorry for my lack of posting over weekend. Friday I was swamped at work and Sat/Sunday, I honestly stayed away from computers and enjoyed time with kiddos.

My youngest has officially almost caught up with all the Star Wars movies now. :-P

Just a heads up, there is possibly health issues arising in the near future with my wife. A battery of tests have been ordered so I'll let you know where that goes.

Large sized
10 ft reach
increased fire attack damage
Increased str and con
Decreased dex
more natural armor (or maybe deflection, being a magical creasture)

Can fly with Inam as rider (but you don't have any ride skill as far as I know)

You're pretty sure it will go away after you are done in Igniscoeli. Probably.

does anyone else have a way to create water besides Sequoya? Because that would be a big deal in terms of long term survival here, where there is no water.
