ok, so let's break this into 1 week increments, I think that that's the easiest unit of time where A) we don't fast forward too much and B) you can expect to accomplish something or at least makes steps forward on projects. For lack of better terminology, let's say you have one major and (one minor thing) you can do.
FIRST WEEK
Ibinu: Formula Research with Culkin (spending time with Sophia)
Kallik: starting on planar research? (spending time with Tree, Dowanhowee, Krz?)
Inam: forging obsidian? (spending time with Edoardo, or mingling with elens to spread the word of the Warrior?)

Inam Smithrock |

--inam update--
With the new herald and the white obsidian recipe, Inam sees a need to create something to show The Warriorbis still relevant.
Scrounging obsidian would be her first goal while trying to process what's changed recently.
--life update--
Grandmother in the hospital and have been assigned a few research projects for work while understaffed. Brain thing a bit jumbled.

research

Update: Still being run ragged at work. Decision has been made for grandma to go on hospice as shes not doing well and there's nothing else the doctors can do.
Pretty much been staying at the hospital when not at work all week. Will try to post when I can.

Mechanically speaking, I'd like to make a set of full-plate if possible. I realize that'll take a bit to accomplish.
Eventually, I'd like to make some Full-Plate with DR of some kind and the "Champion" special enhancement. :-P (Spoilered below for ease of finding)
For now though, I'm good with just making a set of full-plate. lol
This armor special ability works only for good creatues with the challenge ability or smite evil ability. A wearer with one of these abilities gains a +2 sacred bonus to AC against attacks from the chosen opponent of their challenge or smite evil ability.
Regarding an RP aspect, I've started sketching an image for what I'd like to have it look like. I'm not an artist by any means, but I'll happily share once I finish.

Inam, very interesting ideas for your armor. I'd say you will be in there forging in the mornings and afternoons for two weeks of work in this fast-forward time. (Your major action each day will be forging)
Oh, and this will have damage reduction already. We talked about obsidian armor a long time ago, and I decided on:
DR 2/- Light Armor (+10000 gp)
DR 3/- Medium Armor (+20000 gp)
DR 4/- Heavy Armor (+30000 gp)

Ibinu Kemish |

I think Ibinu will just spend some time with Sophia. I've been run a bit haggard IRL and the Special I'm gm'ing is going into the very last phase, so it's a crunch to keep things pushing along. I'm good with taking a back burner while Inam/Kallik finish up stuff.

Inam Smithrock |

I should be able to get a post up tonight. Question on my crafting. Was the Cha to craft a one time thing? Or should I replace my int bonus with cha on that moving forward?

High Servant of Volcano |

Kallik - regarding the Ardere Captain, you get at least this much from Dove:
--Captain Entoro was the leader of the Ardere, but Ibinu demanded that he step down and take part in the rite of sacrifice. (you were there for that)
--Lieutenant Tareasca, a younger ifrit, has taken the place as captain. Dove admits to knowing little about her - he expected one of the other lieutenants to take Entoro's place.

Ibinu Kemish |

Awww, that must be boring.

If only they had discovered weed instead of fire first, maybe dragons would be a lot more chill.

High Servant of Volcano |

Inam - remind me about the champion enhancement the next time we have down time. Etrah's religion rolls weren't quite high enough to start up any enchanting yet, but we'll look into it next time. As a paladin with an emissary of the gods atop your shoulder, you can definitely expedite the crafting/enchanting process.

You could let Ibinu help out with the enchanting process, his deity would be happy to supply a few totally not cursed enchants to the warrior’s herald. :P

Returning the smile, "Good. I wanted to check before I speak with the Ardere Watch. Are there anythings, locations, or needs that I must keep in mind while I speak for you all?"
Do I know this captain? Or know of? Cause we can start that if you want. I am happy to have two or three things going at one. PBP is great for that.
No requests from her? And yeah on to the Ardere if fine by me

High Servant of Volcano |

Dowanhowee speaks of a few minor civic issues, but the one thing on everyone's mind in the Stems is one particular incident - Dove had hinted at this earlier. Her eyes are downcast as she tells the tale. "An umzingeli of Ardere Watch came into the Stems, five strong. Their swords were drawn, and they answered no questions as they approached the Elder. I stepped in front of the Elder." Her voice is quiet now. "The big one yelled at me in his own language. I did not move. " Leaning on her walking stick a bit move heavily, she lets out a shuddering breath. "Eventually, they left. And now, my people are worried. This should not be allowed to happen."
That confrontation is the biggest thing on her mind.

Ibinu Kemish |

I'm chilling right now just hanging back and reading what everyone is doing. I'm good with this role. I've got plenty on my plate IRL.
If stuff is needed from me, I'll respond. Otherwise I'm gtg. Thanks for checking in!

He is going to discretely co-opt a few of the sculptors that are working on the destruction of the lady's statues to work on a project for him. He'll look for some that are a bit disgruntled about destroying most of her statues.
His goal, build two statues at each side of the temple entrance (or an alternate appropriate location), one representation of the warrior and one representation of the cauldron lady. Equal sized and while he doesn't want them shaking hands or anything super crazy, he does want a representation that they are no longer enemies. Maybe both supporting a representation of Volcano to show how both aspects of Volcano are necessary? He knows that they will have to work quickly, but wants his project done by the end of the month so it can be revealed during the Cauldron Lady's celebration.
During the next month, Ibinu will also take a part in helping to plan the Cauldron Lady's celebration.
I also think we all agree to having Culkin start making that white stuff, so he asks him to begin the process and keep him updated.
Once we have our dinner discussion resolved (I think we were trying to figure out how to test the stuff) Ibinu will move onto the next day's followup with the shamed alchemist apprentices.

Two and a half years! One thing I wanted to do for this "State of the Game" is a very high-end summary of the campaign so far. I skimmed through the 70 pages of campaign diary, and here's what I came up with, organized into rough adventures or arcs:
1) caravan, white obsidian, So Khong, you are now Blessed
2) spawn in temple ; Eo ; Egret ; Brinn dies > Bian gets Blessed
3) riots and fires in Hearth ; Ibinu reborn ; efreet statues and old Blessed
4) the old Blessed walk again, seeking revenge against inquisition ; So Khong the betrayer ; Bian gives up the Blessing
5) Etrah killed, phoenix born ; civil war averted ; Temple corruption ousted ; Kallik's blood-anger purified and brings back Axe
6) old inquisition slaughtered, temple profaned by smiler agents ; Dove for council ; inquisitors Ky La and Locatelli escape ; Watches in turmoil
7) Young Elder, Stems ; rifts, mephits ; fire plane, ifrit So Khong, birth of a dragon ; Consolata the darkvein, and the truth of the dark
8) Smithrock forging ; Captain Entoro and the Ardere ;iron statue attacks Elder ; oracles and the Hall
9) oracle truths (dark, smiler, lady, hearth) ; Cauldron Champion ; rites of sacrifice ; "Lao", an elder Ky La ; white obsidian recipe ; Krz and the plane of Forest

I am personally enjoying the chill pace and the opportunity for you all to get "downtime" things done (like forging, the recipe, and researching Igniscoeli).
I can't find the exact date we official went on "down time" mode, but I think it's been about a month. Whenever you get the chance, let me know if life is still super busy, or if things might be settling down soon. No rush, we can easily do this for a while as long as everyone is having fun.

Tinkering with the setting here and there. You as PCs have only encountered green pogonas so far, which are dumb beasts of riding and burden which range from pony to horse to ox sized, more or less.
Ibinu may have seen some of these in his traveling days. Kallik would have seen the brown and white ones in Forest.
Slate pogonas have large, flat feet. They move more slowly, but traverse the slippery, fine ‘sand’ of the Charcoal Desert very well. Can subsist solely on litho-plants found there.
Brown pogonas are wild, unintelligent creatures found in moderate temperatures (closer to Volcano, especially in the warmer south)
White pogonas are wild creatures that have adapted to much colder temperatures naturally (far away from Volcano - IceFall and northern Forest) (bigger, hunters that are bear-sized)

More world stuff - this time, the city of Light. I won't be doing individual districts like I did for Hearth or Forge. Light is almost an order of magnitude smaller than Hearth, plus it's just too much work to do again. (kind of like stopping after having a second kid)
Light is a city made of colleges and centers of research. Most of a neighborhood or areas's 'feel' will come from the magery, alchemy, or muse that is near by.
None of you have really been to Light, but you probably know the basics, like most educated elens who live near the cities.

Sounds about right in regards to a month or so. Personal life aspects seem to be settling a bit as we all fall back into our routines. My grandmother went home on hospice but seems to be making a miraculous recovery. I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes.
Professional life is still...hectic. Every time I think I'm getting into a routine some new aspect or task gets tossed onto my stack. Not complaining, just trying to figure out which way is up. :-P
I have been appreciating the slower pace still as I'm spending a lot of time reading legal jargon to prevent my employers from inadvertently causing issues. I'm not a lawyer...my brain hurts. lol
If others are ready to speed back up, I am able to do so.

Ibinu Kemish |

I'm good with cranking things up again a bit, though a day or two delay would not be complained about. Outpost II just started and I maaaay have signed up for a few games and they all decided to flood the intro stuff all at once.

I am slightly insane right now. I should be able to jump back in tomorrow.
I have a new computer and I am having some issues transferring my files over. And the fear of losing my game prep for the campaign I agreed to start on Saturday was like the icing on the cake of
So the slow and minimal pressure thing is really working for me at the moment as I think I am building up to a but of a mental freakout. I do this every few years due to life stress and my general mental issues.

Kallik Sisa |

I noticed. Cold anger is fun. I love running that but Kallik is so much fun. I have developed a love for the sassy characters. My other one is a really temperamental oracle. She has yelled at and caused people to walk on eggshells around her. It helps that she is the only female in a group of dudes and has no issue stepping up to way bigger than her people. Kallik is a little more cutting and less explosive. Which is very different. And delightful. Normally something for an NPC for me.
Also if I go dark Friday thru Sunday it is because we found new players and I have a full table. I get to start my campaign Saturday. All and nervous excitement is bubbling!

Kallik Sisa |

The short answer is it starts up with a mystery and even when one part gets figured out there is still more. Assuming I can pull that off. Lots of lore stuff and after a while, once they are strong enough to survive, the game will get a lot more sandbox like as they explore where ever they want in the continent. No clue how or when it might end.
I am using the mythic stuff cause I love it and the elements it brings in. Later they will get to explore the continent, sadly the AP only ever deals with four islands and that is lame. So I am building the continent. This gonna be very sandboxy. I have goals for plane hopping and delving into Azlanti history and if they peruse it then history before that. I get a highly magical and technologically advanced society that was destroyed 10,000 years ago and I get to blow it up and then decay it. Which is exciting and rather overwhelming. I have a few ideas for where they might go. There are devils to deal with and some ancient horrors I might use. And those could be the big bad. But I really wanna try to make the environment the enemy. But that means I need to figure out how they can get the rifts to various planes closed or contained.
On that note. There are a lot of rifts to various planes. Some obvious and others they might walk right though without knowing till it is to late.
I have a wizard who I made an custom archetype based off of the 3.5 alienist. Cause summons are fun and weird summons are better. She is an aasimar. And rolled on the physical chart which resulted in skin that glows, insect wings, and a freaking unicorn horn. She is a bioluminescent bugacorn.
There there are the twins. One is a barbarian tiefling who is a little vague but the player is still kinda new so not surprise. The other twin is an Oracle with a blend of the Cyclopean Seer and the Planar Oracle. Cause I liked the idea. Along with the Dual cursed archtype but reworked the way I think it should be. Two curses and two mysteries. Her physical traits were a metallic shadow that has wings.
Really the tiefling got screwed on the random chart.
The new people are bringing in cousins who are also a mix of a teifling and aasimar. And that was not planned. The tiefling is a Spiritualist with the Haunted archetype. His original name is Host 11. And the Phantom is an ancestor who made it a habit to escape death by taking over his descendants. While the aasimar is a cleric of Iomedea who has asked me to try to make him fall. Which is awesome!
Then there is the ifrit something. I know he is going Kineticist and mix that with something that can let him share teamwork feats.
