In the Mindlink. Hmmm, these snakes Nebebit were fighting are not from these lands. Think the one at the Oracles brought some friends along.

Sorry, I didn't mean I was putting it in the center of the room, just moving it in that general direction. In other words, away from the walls, blades carts and other general congestion into more open space where someone swapped to that position would have room to run or maneuver.

The psicrystal's personality trait is "Single-minded," the one which gives a bonus to Concentration checks. Sorry, I forgot to put it on the sheet, but it's on there now. The Concentration bonus was already figured in, so nothing changed on my skills.

Likewise, I'll have Falco move to another safe spot in the middle of the room (as we don't have a map before us, I'll just let Val choose where, for both the psicrystal and Falco, the only guideline being that it is within 40' of Namaste and that it isn't right under a Shadow or the Sheet Phantom), so...

hmm; is it my turn; has everyone before the phantom went; I think so as Thoron and LLevenoc did two move actions and a standard action; they are now two rounds ahead.

ok; einey meany miney moe; the sheet phantom uses improved grapple to move and attack...Astinos; does 7 pts negative energy damage; it squeals a bit itself; probably doesnt like Astinos's aura. DC 28 to resist grapple; another middle of the road roll for the GM.

To resist 1d20(18)+14=32

With a turn of his body and a roar Astinos shrugs off the creature.

Shouldn't Decidio get an attack of opportunity

On my turn I attack the sheet phantom twice.
1d20+12+6(bonuses)+1(challenge)=34, 1d20+7+6(bonuses)+1(Challenge)=22; %rolls 91,63; damage 1d8+5+4(bonuses)+1(challenge)=16,18

Male Efreeti, advanced manthing 45HD

Decidio cannot attack as she is fully engaged in a full grapple against a shadow; she is quite litterally squeezing the unlife out of it.
consider also that the creature is large; in addition to its added reach for being large; it has a bonus 10ft reach for enlongates phantom body.
hope this clears up the question.

ok; waiting on the rest of the teams responses;

Kemnebi cannot resist the grin that comes with Llivenoc's mental announcement of Nebebit's recovery. His brow lowers again at the mention of the snakes.

He replies through the link,...
'If it's mad because of what happened at the Oracle's place, wait until I'm done with it when next we meet!' He almost snarls through the link.

Looking almost abashed, he returns his attention to the shadows,...

I think I've taken my turn this round, waiting on next round? Or my turn this round?

well this fight seems in hand; the shades stand useless by the Raven's power; the sheet phantom cannot last long against the focused power of the paladin, the mage and the mind witch. Still, I would rate this party's current effectiveness and teamwork about a 3 of 10; about the same as the group of lame princess I hung with for a while in the Southern Continent; I did get them straightened out a bit and headed in the right direction; two of them were coming along well and one was becoming a decent minion. I guess it is my lot in life to hang with lame fixer upper groups and get the rough edges smoothed out. Still, some here show promise. What is your Assessment of our group and what we should do to be more effective and become the conhesive fighting unit that we could be?

Female Kalashtar (Eberon Campaign Setting p. 16) Psion 6 (7 when imp is within one mile)

Init 16

Namaste will turn her Energy Push blast on the Sheet Phantom. Spending four extra power points to gain 2 extra d6 damage and +2 to the save DC. Choosing Electricity again, which gives an additional +2 to save DC. Reflex save at DC 20 (10 + Power Leve 2 + Int Bonus 4 + 2 Electricity + 2 Augmenting) for half. If it has Power Resistance - Manifester Level check to overcome PR = 26

17 damage

If it is susceptible to the force quality of the power, then it is also driven back 5' plus 5' for every 5 points damage, and if driven into a solid surface, takes an additional 2d6 damage, which may affect, since it is partially corporeal (Impact damage = 12).

As previously stated, the psicrystal is scuttling toward the center of the room, but will move no further than 40' from Namaste.

Replying to Jewel in Drow hand communication.

Spoiler:
I agree the group is lacking, and some peoples actions leave me quite confused. Tactically several actions did not make sense to me. The Paladin tells us there is a noticable evil hiding in one of the carts, and half the party walks right past it without checking it out. The Fey Priest beats down a Shadow in melee combat, then decides to try and turn the other two. There is alot of talking, but very little communication between us all. The Paladin wasted alot of time running back and forth before commiting to combat. We are expending valuable resources to early. Do you concur? I would appreciate your insights.

You spoke of other Princes. Your approval of these other Princes is a bit critical. What is your assessment of me? Should we expect there arrival at some point to attend to you? Is there any forsight you can grace me with so I know what to expect of them in mannerisms? Should I infer that once you fix this groups shortcomings you are planning on leaving to tutor another group?

Jewel to LL in drow hand signals

Spoiler:

her signs denote much laughter and gaiety.

"that group meet this one; the Death Knight and the Paladin's conversation would be priceless. No, I do not think that a good idea as each of them are devoted to various Princes of Devils. Each of their houses devoted to that worship. Only Emperor Sebastion's power is enough to make them pause and take notice; only he commands respect through sheer force; power and the lust of it; that is what they know; sheer brutal efficiency; that is the Princes of Evil. Refreshing for a time; but not my choice unless even my choices become dire. As for you; I choose ot not yet be critical of you; I am uninjured, you have fought hard; intermeshing with these various suface dwellers is a challenge as even they do not mesh yet with each other. We are in the crucible of importance now; either we mesh and rise to it; or we shall be mashed and drowned in it. Be not critical; lead with pride and example; words mean little to surface barbarians such as these. I have noticed you have a slight aura of good, that intersests me; the choice; I shall watch how it is displayed in your character and judge if you are fit to survive. Leave; I? I come and go as I please, if I do not fit here; I shall; if I am unheeded or unneeded I shall. A drow princes is no second line spare. I will not show my true power until such time as needed; I am a bright beacon in the darkness and would dim these lesser candles, yet any eye can see a beacon so caution is best."

The sheet phantom ignores the turning attempt and the turning damage, while effective, doesnt affect him like you think it would; keep in mind you are also about 80' away; so we will apply this when it happens probably in two rounds as you have to move into range; it has to be able to see you and you need to get its attention.

Seeing the very spread out group moving to consolidate on the opponents; jewel makes two move actions to be near kenembi and the Iunius; she has her mace out; it doesnt glow with light but emits a low humm.

Kemnebi looks at June, who threw herself into harms way, wrestling with the Shadow that had tried to attack him. Glowing with the silvery radiance of his spell he raises his hand towards the pair locked in a macabre parody of a ballroom dance.

"Get off of her!" He snarls, authority echoing in his voice. "Shapak Sashara!"
And 4 more glowing bolts of energy fly and tear into the shadow.

Magic Missile on the shadow holding June:

4d4+4=13

Male Efreeti, advanced manthing 45HD

Kenembi; you are a bit started by your results; your energy missles seemed much stronger than they usually are and covered in a red radiance; they sizzle with extra zest when they hit; the creature dissapates into nothingness.

Lying in a very graceful; somewhat sexual position upon the sand; Iunius, with a certain shyness; looks up into Kenembi's angry eyes and speaks softly (anyone can her on a dc 12 +2 for every 10 ft distance away)

"Well done my precious magus, we have defeated our first oppenent together; your wonderous arcane strength and my minor distraction (she holds the stare a few seconds in silence....) you should be rewarded, I will see that you are when we have time."
