Davor is technically correct, Father Grimmburrow did not give you a direct answer. Of course, neither of you has ever been in exactly this sort of situation before so you aren't certain how a Priest of Pharasma might answer such a request in such circumstances...

Sorry Zander, but Vivian is totally un-racist. Everyone is equal for her, because everyone dies. For her, Tamarie and Davor arent "half-something". THere are whole people, and friends (or soon-to-be friends, at least)

GM: Your wording causes me to have a question. How numerous are adventurers or people with class levels? How commonplace are works/workers of magic? I ask because every lvl 1 cleric can channel, so I would have thought it to be commonplace, yet it seems like the most basic of clerical skills is cause for amazement. Just want to know for future RP if I should limit my flashy moves in public :D

It's not so much cause for amazement as it is that in this part of the world, casual displays of power, particularly holy power are frowned upon. Basically imagine how a community of stereotypical American Colonial Puritans might respond to something like that.

I would advise against having life crises if possible. They generally tend to be rather unpleasant from my experience.
