Torgus"The Brawling Bear"Voss |

After Torgus breaks the line with his battering fish, he looks to the former Champion who followed in suit and gives him crooked smile. The Champion of Ballenwood lets out a ferocious roar as he rips apart the former siege weapon in his arms letting the creatures blood trip all over him. The Brawling bear gives an evil smile as he looks around and shouts "RUN FISHYS ITS FEEDING TIME!"

Torgus is a showman at heart!

DM - Voice of the Voiceless |

Javi's rising suckerpunch catches another of the chanting kua-toa off guard. Fist contacting it's jaw with a heavy crack and making the chanter slump to the deck.
The Bear rips his makeshift battering ram asunder, sending a spray of fish blood and innards outwards like a broken dam. The remaining creatures at the foredeck look at him through bloodspattered eyes, all colour fading from their faces. To a man, they turn and flee - back down to the crowded maindeck. Morthar and Mtumbo bound after, forsaking the stairs and flinging themselves into the melee bodily off the raised foredeck.
Cassadar and Nisk?
Nisk - the trapdoor to the lower hold is not yet open, so you can either try and bar it, or set ready to snot whatever comes out of it.

Nisk |

While I feel barring the door is probably the smarter option, Nisk isn't that smart :P
Nisk readies himself, checking his stance and remembering his tutors words. Center yourself, even in battle. Know where you are and your opponent. He breathed carefully, readying himself like a tightly wound spring for the creature that would come up. Pay attention to the battle overall, but focus on whatever key points will change it.

Cassadar |
Cassadar was traversing the rigging with an eye on the flow of the battle towards the rear, and was quite unsurprised to see that he was beaten there by his companions. That roar of Torgus' coupled with the red he saw out of the corner of his eye let him know that things were well in hand on that end, so he descended the rigging smoothly, picking a position that had not been occupied, setting himself to scattering the rest of the casters.

DM - Voice of the Voiceless |

Nisk is blown backwards by fragments of the trapdoor as it exploded outwards towards him. Emerging from the hold was a larger version of the fin-laden fish creature, crossed with scars and fists covered with heavy copper gauntlets coated with a patina of verdigris.
Cassadar manages to drop out of the rigging into a smooth roll, ending with a rising knee strike to break the concentration of another of the kua-toa.
Two chanting kua-toa remain, though the backlash from the deaths of the others in the ritual strike them hard. Driven to their knees, blood pours from their mouths as they pour what remains of their life-essence into the summoning.
The battle still swirls around you, though it seems as though the momentum is swinging towards your companions.
Last round of free-form actions - then I'll cut to a singular threat...

Nisk |

Nisk turns his momentum into a backward roll and comes up in a fighting stance once more. Momentarily, he is shocked by the size of the fish creature, then his mouth goes grim. "Could probably use some help here." He says fairly calmly over the battle fray, then launches forward. Moving low through his quick forms, body and head moving in constant concert, he comes in low, then strikes at the creatures knee with a knife-hand.

DM - Voice of the Voiceless |

Javi's best guess is that the power of the ritual was expunged, though at far greater cost due to the loss of two of the group...
As to exactly what resulted... you'll find out very very soon...
As it stands there are still a bunch of ready targets available on your ship and theirs, and the biggun down next to Nisk.

Javi the Wasp |

For good or ill, the summoning was ended. Nothing for it but to help Nisk, he thinks as he jumps off the aft deck, sailing overhead towards the giant fish-thing, leading with a knee aimed at its gills.
Launch himself in a high arc over the deck, trying to come down on or near the fish and finish with a (hopefully) sneak-attacking finish. He'll try for flanking to make that happen if possible. I don't know how much ground he has to cover.

Javi the Wasp |

Seriously. And I'm the one guy in the group where crits don't amount to much. Oh well.

DM - Voice of the Voiceless |

Javi - just the standard crit, but that's still ok when combined with the bear's entrance.
Nisk backpedals before the massive sahuagin fish-fin creature unable to land a blow, though his salvation comes in the form of Torgus and Javi double teaming the beast. Large fist and small combining to end the creature quickly.
Gorak flings his quarry to the end rail where the kua-toa cracks it's head and goes down insensate. Frakdar continues to fight on your own vessel - holding his own against all comers... but then... the tide of battle flowed back away from you once more.
Bursting up from below decks came more of the large sahuagin, combined with crustaceans crawling up from the side of the derelict. But it was the sound to your backs that drew chills. A bellow that resonated like an unholy combination of bear, elephant and something fouler sounded sonorous across the ocean before the angle of the decks cambered upwards.
Tentacles as thick as torsos slammed down onto your ship, cracking the very planks that kept it whole. What followed was a gaze into the tortured lovechild of the deep depths and the abyss itself. Wicked beak as large as to crack a man's limbs like kindling and a bulbous gelatinous body that undulated and shivered as it was raised out of the water. This was not good...
Looking to the squid creature and the still swarming deck of the derelict Morthar calls out "MY SHIP... KILL IT, KILL IT WITH FIRE!" while Mtumbo implores the party "Quickly now, do what you can. We will blunt their spears and then be with you." Streaks of fire flew out from the rigging of your ship as the Harrower marked the beast. Fangul smiled at Frakdar before launching straight off the ship and into the beast's toothy maw entire - disappearing from view.
The initiates just looked up with jaws hanging askew and gasping. The kua-toa and sahuagin started up a cheer at the sight of their champion - basking in the chaos it wrought upon the field.

Cassadar |
Not having encountered anything of that size before, Cassadar was taken aback at the emergence of that beast. It was quite nearly the size of their ship!
As the cries of alarm went up at the behemoth's appearance, he started to look around for something that would let them engage the beast, ignoring the sway and roll of the two ships-- now more pronounced because of the tentacles that were starting to wrap around the boat. They needed range..
The spears!
Cassadar burst into action, starting to collect the nearest spears that the now-scattered fish men had either dropped or discarded. Perhaps they would be able to drive the beast off quickly, with some good fortune. Footing was not an issue on the derelict ship, at least not for him. One arm wiped the sea-spray off of his face and hefted a spear, gauging the distance...

Gorak "The Beast" |

Gorak moves to just out of arms reach of any enemies and reaches his hand tothe sea with a claw shaped gesture. Visible cold in the form of frost and vapor begin to surround his hand and a spot in the ocean. He then violently pulls his into the air as if yanking at the sea. A halfling sized spout of water bursts forth from the sea freezing to ice and slush as it travels. landing on the deck of the ship is a squat toad like creature composed entirely of ice, though it's skin is not slick like a toad. It's skin is covered in varying sized stalagmites of icy cold. Gorak points at the squid creature and the ice toad violently attacks it's nearest apendage.

The Bear comes upon a sahuagin from behind and his lusty elbow crumple's it's ribcage, sending it to the deck of the ship.
The tentacled horror that is now attached to the ship lashes out with two rubbery tentacles to strike at a pair of the initiates...
Tentacle #1: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21 for 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 - and grab 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (20) + 22 = 42
Tentacle #2: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17 for 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
...one strike missing, though the other whips around the initiate's body and begins to draw him in toward the beast's maw.
Gorak begins to call upon nature to send aid. Summon Nature's Ally is a full round cast - so the ice elemental will only pop up in Round 2. I'll let you keep the roll and choose an appropriate target at that time.
The grappled initiate is shown on the map. If you want, you can attempt to free by either attacking the tentacle itself, or trying to wrest him away through Strength check
Initiative Tracker (Round 1): Torgus, Squid-thing, Gorak, Nisk, Cassadar, Javi, Frakdar, Initiates + Fish-People
Javi - there's enough fallen men to pick up a crossbow from the decks if that's what you're after - the armory is below decks, and there aren't any freestanding weapons up top apart from those that have been dropped.

Javi the Wasp |

Javi turns at all the commotion, nearly biting his own tongue when he sees what the chanters had summoned. Note to self: leave the ocean to the sailors.
Never-the-less, he flies into action, picking up a fallen light crossbow then rushing towards their original ship. He barely pauses to plant a hand on the derelict's rail -- sending himself flying across the span between the ships -- and lands behind some cover, checking to make sure the weapon is loaded. "Strike from stealth..." he mutters to himself from his place of cover.
Move action to pick up a fallen (hopefully loaded) crossbow - as well as any ammo. Then (if he's not already out of actions, he'll rush back over to his own ship, jumping across the gap between the ships and attempting to end his movement in a square that gives him cover from the new monster.
Acrobatics 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18.
Stealth 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15.
Voice, if picking up the crossbow and ammo takes more than a move action, then i guess that's all he'll do, and he'll try to move into position and strike next round.

Gorak "The Beast" |

The map doesnt load properly on my ipad, so I may need some direction as I'm "flying blind" so to speak. Also summon spells are a full round, but they arrive at the end of the casters turn. Meaning It'll arrive just before Gorak's next action. It's a little weird, but the caster doesnt lose a turn or anything.
Example;
Rd 1;
Player a (takes action) > Player B ( begins Summons monster) > Player C (takes action)
Rd2:
Player A (takes action)> Summoned monster appears> Player B (takes action) > Player C (take action) Etc...

DM - Voice of the Voiceless |

Gorak - you're on the second ship at present - roughly 50ft from squidthulu and without any hostiles around you. I understand how full round casts work - I was essentially noting that you've declared the action for the summon already (which won't take place until after the squid's turn in round 2. You may want to adjust tactics depending on what squiddy does...
Javi - you can pick up the crossbow plus quarrels during your move, so just let me know where you want to end up.
Frakdar - haven't forgotten your declared action, just giving you a chance to revise if you like.
Cassadar - just confirming that there's a ready supply of fallen spears around you. You can pick up as part of a move action - leaving you able to still make a throw this round.

Javi the Wasp |

Looking at the map again, I don't see a way to find a place to stealth from the sea-monster while avoiding that first row of opponents in the 8 row. So let's have him do the same action and end in K-9. That should give him a break in LoS from the sea creature, but not from the regular opponents. That'll have to do.

Nisk |

Nisk quakes a bit at this odd new threat. "That's.... new." He said, then his training took over as he launched himself between the ships, hell bent on this new prey. When striking a foe with superior reach draw his attacks to you when you have allies. They will thank you for it. Nisk's rolling landing rises into an axe kick high above the head of the monster.

DM - Voice of the Voiceless |

Nisk charges in at the unholy behemoth, drawing a strike as he closes...
Bite: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (11) + 14 = 25
...though his prescience tracks where the creature's maw will close and he is not there when it does. Unfortunately the weave away from pain meant that his strike lacked enough force to penetrate the beast's rubbery hide.
Cassadar retrieves a spear from the deck and hefts it, eyes scanning for a target.... Just need the target and rolls for you.
Javi scampers across the deck, those that might take notice busier with other things as he arms himself with a crossbow relinquished by a crewman who fell from above decks. The Bear is in K,9 - so I've put you next to him.
Frakdar leaps forward to the stricken initiate and his fire rimned fist strikes true on the tentacled horror, forcing it to release the initiate and recoil back to the central mass in pain.
The initiatives that are not engaged in combat reel away from the monster, unwilling to face it, while the others continue to contest against the kua-toa and sahuagin...
Simplified Combat: Fishies: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 and Initiates: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

Round 2
Here fishy fishy, time to die.
I continue attacking with my Elemental Fists.

Cassadar |
Looking at the fallen fish-men on their boat, Cassadar picked up a trio of spears, and then, eschewing the longer way around, chose to simply take a step back, making a running jump across the distance between the two ships, seeing as he was on the upper level of the derelict.
Indeed, derelict it was, since the force of his jump elicited an audible crack from the railing he leapt from, which was almost enough to foil his jump, that railing now at a noticeable angle downwards.
While it was not a conscious thought, he moved with a certainty, taking advantage of the momentum of the jump and utilizing it to heave the spear at the beast, dropping the other spears he was holding as he let that one fly at the creature.
I figure that'll put him at D/E-9, and a 5ft-towards squidhemoth on the landing recovery? Acrobatics:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26, 1d8 ⇒ 2

Javi the Wasp |

Javi stalks up behind the thick beam, using it for cover. And hopefully as means of gaining stealth against the creature. He carefully takes aim (at the side of the huge creature that's away from Nisk) and squeezes the lever, sending the bolt hurtling towards what he hopes is one of the creature's more tender spots.
Move to J-7, using the cover to gain stealth if possible.
Stealth - 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23.
Then shoot at it, trying to ignore the "shooting into melee" penalty (if possible) by attacking farther to the left. (I'm a little fuzzy on if this can actually work with a creature this size, but it seems to make sense.)
Light Crossbow 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9; hopefully he's flat-footed.

As the bolt goes spinning crazily away -- far from his mark -- Javi has to wonder if it was damaged in its fall. Stupid 1... :(

Cassadar's thrown spear arcs through the tangle of rigging and strikes the monster a solid blow. He is able to tumble and regain his footing after landing from his leap.
Torgus wades forward and delivers a thundering blow to the beast. Morthar seems too engrossed in the melee on the derelict to respond to his question. You hear a faint "...GUTCRUSHER - OLD SCHOOL STYLE..."

Nisk is pulled from the ship and raised high in the air above the salty demon's beaklike maw. However the ministrations of the party o'ercome it's ability to endure. Frakdar strikes hard with his fists forcefully enough to penetrate the beast's rubbery hide and make it split apart at the seams. Javi's cestus also sinks deep into the creature, leaving an open welt that gushes with blood. The squid falls from the side of the ship and begins to thrash about in it's death throes. The ship cracks and splinters but holds well enough.
Nisk is flung into the air and away from the ship as the tentacle releases him, landing some thirty feet from the vessel and in the water. Surprisingly he sees a bloody, mucous covered Fangul surface in the water beside him.
Looking over to the derelict you see that the masters have rallied the initiates and crew to victory and are now undergoing the grisly task of checking the fallen to ensure they are dead. The occasional striking crack of a breaking neck rings out.
Morthar can be seen resting hands on knees hunched and panting heavily with exertion. Mtumbo gives him a stout clap on the back and is talking quietly to him.

Wait, wait, wait... there's gonna be more?! :D

Hrrumph, as I said, I HATE FISH. Hope that teaches them that they better stay in the water and not on my boat.
Oh, and that damn thing bit me, anyone know any healing spells. Otherwise I am gonna have to deal with fish wounds for a few days.
