Edwin should aim to take one of Tiamat's heads during the ToT. Snatch dominion over one of the chromatic types, maybe black or white dragons. ^.^
Well I was thinking you wouldn't want to aim for her most powerful worshipers, the reds. Or her most cunning worshipers, the blues. She may take that hard and aim to get them back in the worst way. Theirs a difference from poking the dragon and punching it right in the eye. xP
Then again if it's done in a less literal sense and you steal some divine essence from her. Could choose among the fang, brown, and deep dragons that fall under chromatic as well.
Both Fang and Brown dragons have acid based breath weapons. Deep dragons have a psychic based breath weapon that dazes or dominates based on strength.
Again I went to FR wiki, again they burned me with 4e. >.>
The 3e version of a deep dragon from Monsters of Faerun has a corrosive gas breath weapon. So it seems all three have acid, just different shapes of it. Sorry for the mix up, got to check references more.
I don't remember Fang dragons having any breath weapon in 3e. If memory serves instead of a breath weapon they just had more powerful than usual for a dragon, natural attacks.
EDIT: Apparently Tiamat gaven them one at some point, Dunno if that was in 4e though.

I decided to run this campaign to play test the Homebrew stuff I was planning for my Table Top campaign. Now it looks like my Table Top players want to start at 5th level and skip the "prequel" portions of the adventure.
LOL. Well, at least I'll get to see what "might" have been by running this ;-)

Well we will be doing our own "jumping" so they just got a head start. ;)
Looks like we have two teams, the Waterdeep team and the Secomber team. As well as three cover groups. Edwin, Mawj, and Kyo are with Dorn. Vorik, Ja'far, and Pox will be another. Then Suni and Vladislak as the third. I don't know which concerns me the most.
It's going to be a lot of spoiler postings. Bring it on.
Actually I plan on hand waving the trip until you all arrive at Tilverton.

This was before the DM posted so it's moot now. But Waterdeep has a dragonward mythal, dragon's can't enter without permission from the holder of the dragonward key. It's based off type, so I wasn't sure if you would have to wait outside the city.
Funny that one of Dorn's former teachers happens to be the one that holds that key.
I've decided to go with the Burglar archetype, after all, being even better at trap removal and stealth is a good trade-off for uncanny dodge (in my opinion)
Once the DM post us being dismissed and things wrapped up, Dorn is going to invite everyone out to the Tesh Inn. It's the best feasthall non-zhents are allowed in. Has alot to offer. :)

That level of fraternizing is frowned upon, at least for now.
Normally, I'd do a road trip and have the PC's RP and gel together. This mission seems to frown upon that very idea. Each has a "role" to play and therefore on the road you will act as if the merchants are merchants and the guards are guards. Thus I am skipping past that boring part to the good stuff.
Oh I'll give some description of the trip TO Tilverton's environs then we will have the first significant encounter of the game, one that may or may not, be expected. ;-)

Still level 0, it will be a non-combat encounter. The PCs will reach level 1 once the first mission is completed. The mission will be... offbeat, I daresay one none of you have ever played in a game before.
Probably still zero, unless the dm changed his mind. He did say he will need a cleric of Cyric by level 1.

well, if its a band, I'm the drummer, vital to the music but not really the most famous of the group.
The group is about halfway to the River Reaching crossing on the eastern road which runs north of the Reaching Woods. On this map.

Vorik's bodyguard is Ja'far, Pox is a wagon builder and repairman with him.
Suni's bodyguard is Vladislak. Their out of Secomber, having joined us shortly out of Waterdeep.
I think their is a little confusion going around as to who everyone means. Dorn's bodyguards are Mawj and Edwin so that's who he is waving to, one of them. He means to quietly pass on the alert to everyone else in our little undercover group.

(BTW, Dorn, you can just post "Pox was totally confused" as opposed to "someone" as it was obviously my post you were referencing. :) ) If I could delete my post I would, but sadly Paizo's board limitations disallow that.
I should also have warned the GM about a million years ago--I don't handle being in large parties well. I thought this group was originally going to be no more than 6 people and more than that I start getting confused as to who said what and who is whom (I keep confusing Vlad and Vorik for example). I'll try to do better, and if I can't keep up I'll pull out of the game so I don't ruin things for everyone else.

The group is essentially rejoined. Not my best post last night but I had a bit of writer's block so I thought it best to just post and move us along than worry about getting it as good as I wanted it to be.
At this time, you can all assume you are on a friendly basis though none of you disclose who you are TRULY working for. I did not provide significant detail on others within the caravan as this will not be a significant part of the story moving forward. It's a vehicle to get the party to where I need it to be namely Cormyr.

Truthfully it wasn't your post that made me look up the old post. It was Vorik's and then Mawj, as I was pretty sure they were not in the same subgroup and the numbers were wrong. Also big groups can be a problem for everyone, I go off avatar pics myself. When people change them after being in the game a while it messes me up sometimes. If you can't get used to the names then just give it some time. Everyone has a play style and writing style all their own, you can tell by that after playing long enough if nothing else. ;)

I kept my post vague as I couldn't remember the names of who was paired with me, just that I had two other PCs.
Also, I think it's slightly confusing because initially when I had my intro, it seemed like Vorik and Mawj would be working closely, and then we were 'split' into different groups.
Don't know about your intro, but off the top of my head. Mawj was just a new guard at the Black Alter the way I read it. Does what he is told pretty well.
