Move on the map Mortimer.
Erianna, thanks for explaining. I did not catch that. With Crane repost, you take no damage. :)
For future, since we will be having buffs ans such all over the place. When vitals are different than what is posted to your character sheet due to buffs/debuffs, post it in OOC at the start of each post. Yes, it is more work, but it will avoid such confusion in the future. Sound good?

That's a deal GM DSP - speaking of which :D

Gajah was sure that the shield would have hit, but at the last moment Erianna twisted her blade at an impossible angle, and with surprising speed, deflecting the attack harmlessly aside, and immediately countering with a strike of her own, following behind the parry's momentum, while she mutters to Esther under her breath - "You are correct sister. My apologies as it will never happen again. Defend yourself - I will be at your side as soon as possible"

The "+2" are from flanking with Erasmus.
The woman's movements are uncanny - her steps are lithe, while she dances in front of the massive opponent, but the strikes are vicious - with deadly precision, and surprising strength, making it perfectly clear for her immediate threat that she is aiming to take his life.
"Women are full of surprises, yes... I know..." - she sneers at her adversary, without a hint of irony or jest, the slavery deal too close to her heart to be addressed in jocous tone.
Wow... What a round... That is a LOT of damage my girl just put out :D

I have HAD it with you guys!

Erianna's assault leave Gajah reeling. As the Isterothi is trying to recover his balance, Erasmus calmly, and with surgical precision, stabs the man in both kidneys.
Gajah's eyes swing wildly to his brother's body. "As we are entering this world, so are we leaving it, brother." He collapses, blood pooling at a horrific rate.

He swings his hammer with deadly power and murderous intent.

The two slave guards looks as though they passed through a cheese grater, but both men remain standing.
Targ bellows again, "That wizard had better be dead when I finish here, or you all are!"

"Sister...NO!" - Erianna shouts as she sees her sister falling under the brutal attack.
Her mind races at what to do next against such a massive opponent - gauging the options, she decides to rely further on her magic power - conjuring a spell, multiple images appear, exact copies of herself, and she advances on him, taking advantage of her increased speed.

Last one. And of course he's even bigger.

Mortimer Talinth |

Mortimer begins haphazardly flying to the northwest corner, then grasps his metamagic rod firmly and casts a silent grease at the foot of Targ.
Grease at Targ's feet. DC 17 reflex or fall prone, and acrobatics DC 10 to move.

Can't adjudicate yet. I will remind you that you must post vitals like AC and health and such with eacp post. If not, I will use what's on your sheet and will not change it later. Thanks Erainna and Erasmus got the AC part :)
Also, bonus damage from a crit is rolled not doubled. Make sure you are rolling that extra damage. Thanks again to Erianna!

If you opened this spoiler, your character is now dead. Reroll.

Bellowing, Targ slams his hammer into the ground. Paving stones shatter and stand like mocking tombstones about the massive warrior. Erianna is nearly knocked from her feet, and the table Erasmus crouches on shatters in the impact. The sailor leaps off in time, but is unable to find solid footing on the broken floor and goes down.
Swinging will all his considerable might, Targ puts all his weight behind a single upswing at Erianna.
1d20 + 24 ⇒ (20) + 24 = 44 for 4d6 + 20 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 5) + 20 = 35

The tremendous hit leaves Erianna's torso in tatters, but the woman remains upright, somehow.
62 damage, lass.
EDIT: The blue on the floor is difficult terrain.

Erasmus Randall |

Ugh. That is so tremendously unfair. If I die I'm coming back as a gorilla. Gotta stay out of range of that hammer until I can get back into position. Need to hope the girl's magic can keep him occupied for now. Or he may just take one at me and drop me like a sack of potatoes. Joyous day.
Erasmus stands up [move action] and moves from K1 to J2 to K3 [double move].

There are 7 possible targets in total - I do not know if GM DSP wants me to roll or not, but I'll do it to save time. If not, disregard the roll. 1 is Erianna:
Mirror Image 1/7: 1d7 ⇒ 7
A hint of a smile crosses Erianna's face, as the massive strike, intended to crush her like a bug, simply hits one of her images. She still cannot help but notice the massive strength behind the strike, and the devastating effects it would have, if it had connected.
In case Targ has some means of seeing through the illusion, or if GM DSP rolls differently, Erianna will use Crane Wing and Riposte to deflect and counter strike his brutal attack [I mean... really?! +24? Dang! :/] - rolling just in case, disregard if not applicable:
Crane Wing/Riposte: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29Damage: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (3) + 17 = 20
Apart from that:
Her sister down, and noticing no further action from Mortimer, Erianna is happy she is not alone in the fight as Erasmus reacts, and boldly advances to flank Targ - it all means too much to her to simply fall into desperation, even against an opponent that seems able to kill them with a single blow - We have come too far to falter now my sister... - she ponders to herself, relying on the memories of her sister's encouraging words during their captivity - We will see this to the end Erianna - she always insisted, lifting her spirits at the darker times.
But she had failed Esther - a stupid, tactical mistake, left her exposed, and now she laid there unconscious, possibly dead... "No!" - Erianna's words come involuntarily, instead of a thought - "We will see this to the end... Esther!" - she goes through the words, as if a litany of resistance against the odds.
Falling into her trained movements, she does what she is best at, and embraces the dance, the spirit of the combat, her scimitar swinging in measured strikes, one time, two times... Tempo... "One, two Erasmus. We got this"
Scimitar Attack: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 15 + 2 = 36Damage: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (4) + 17 = 21
Scimitar Attack possible crit: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 15 + 2 = 20Additional Damage if it crits: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18
Scimitar Haste Attack: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 15 + 2 = 36Damage: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18
Scimitar Haste Attack possible crit: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 15 + 2 = 27Additional Damage if it crits: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (2) + 17 = 19
The +2 in the rolls above (not on the riposte, because Erasmus would not be there yet) are from flanking. Sure hope that last one confirms :/

![]() |

Both are crits!. Also, I'm sorry I didn't say, but yes I am intending you to roll your own magics when necessary.
Targ blinks, unbeleiving that such a swing would leave this harlet untouched. Moreover, to have avoided and launched such a devastating counter attack...Instantly the man's tactics change, his eyes clear and he bolts, aiming to barrel Erasmus over!
Overrun - Erasmus you can elect to move. 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (2) + 24 = 26
IF you move, he gets away, through the doors. If you don't move, he runs over you and gets away through the doors, but not before he stomps viscously on your chest for 1d6 + 24 ⇒ (5) + 24 = 29 damage.

Esther Pennycoat |

Upon hearing the large men Stomping away from the room
Esther Gets up picking up her very damaged bow at the same time and cast a spell
CSW: 3d8 + 6 ⇒ (7, 6, 2) + 6 = 21 a few of her wounds immediately close up and she takes a 5ft step in the directions of the door.
Everyone after him ! she says with renewed confidence

Mortimer Talinth |

Mortimer begins running over the possibilities. He's running so he must be pretty hurt, but I'm not sure if I can drop him with one more spell. Finally he pulls out a different wand, then says. "Oh he's not going anywhere. I'm not nearly done with him yet." He waves the wand, and a large wall with with spikes appears, and on the end of the spikes are a sickly green substance that looks like some sort of poison. "Running from a fight, you hardly live up to your reputation."
Silent Image, hopefully the spikes and poison deter him trying to interact with the image.

![]() |

Setting his hammer before himself like a lance, Targ closes his eyes and screams as he barrels toward the door. Clearly braced for pain, the big man misses a step as he passes through unharmed.
He is 15 feet out the door. The path curves down and to the right toward a small town and, eventually, the sea.
Balistae and boudlers pepper the ground in random patterns as the barrage from Freedom's Eagle continues unabated. Much of the settlement is afire.

Erianna |

Ok, so:
As the man turns to dash for the exit, Erianna tries to strike at him - "Coward!"
Scimitar Attack: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17Damage: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (6) + 17 = 23
But her swing is poorly aimed, and misses its mark.
The voice of her sister is like melodic relief to her ears, and she spares only a split second to look at her and smile - "Esther... I..." - but again immediately focuses on the situation at hand, and chases Targ.
Erianna is hasted, which means her Speed is currently 60'. If this allows her to move and attack Targ, she will do so (I am unclear as to the previous description of the action - I believe both Erianna and Erasmus should get to act before Targ leaves the building, as in: Targ acted (he ran), Esther and Mortimer acted (stood up and cast a spell, cast a spell), but neither Erasmus nor Erianna did. So this should mean Targ is still inside when our turn comes up? And the 60' movement should allow me to reach him?). If my assumption is correct:
Chasing the man with uncanny speed across the room, Erianna shouts out - "Surrender, and you will be offered a quick death, to repay for all the suffering you have inflicted over the years!" - her movements powered by arcane magic, she quickly traverses the area that separates them, lunging for another strike.
Scimitar Attack: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34Damage: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (2) + 17 = 19
Scimitar Attack Crit?: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21Additional Damage if it crits: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (6) + 17 = 23
I think I am getting Improved Critical as soon as I can :D

Erasmus Randall |

Faced with the options of him getting away and being unconscious and him getting away...
Erasmus looks up at Mortimer.
Don't worry, it happens to all men sometimes. Especially once you reach a certain age where things just... Don't work the way they used to.
Erasmus watches the men with spears, to see their reactions. If any make a move to continue fighting, he will flip the couch over to take cover behind it.

Esther Pennycoat |

Esther Will move (30ft)after her sister outside of the room. Bow in hand she quickly finds her target and lets loose an arrow
Pa Longbow: 1d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (11) + 14 - 2 = 231d8 + 9 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 9 + (5) = 16 last d6 is acid
Chase him Erianna she simply says

Mortimer Talinth |

Mortimer shakes his head like he's dealing with a child. "I understand that some men see through illusions but he accepted the penalty of running into a wall like that, I can't imagine a single man who could get through something like that without magic. He must fancy himself rather invincible." He looks at the remaining men inside, raising a single glowing hand. "Now are you going to surrender, or do I have to turn this entire building to ash with you all inside it?"

![]() |

1d100 ⇒ 55
1d100 ⇒ 26
Esther, badly battered to match her bow, valiantly straightens and looses an arrow which buries itself in the fleeing slaver's back.
Targ bellow's, but presses on.
Erianna, clearly fed up, sprints to overtake the big man and plants himself firmly in his path. He could leap off the ledge, fall 30 feet into rocky scree where he could be hurt further. If he did jump that, and survive, he'd be a few hundred feet from the harbor. FYI
Projectiles continue to batter the town.
_________
Mortimer's ultimatum is enough to convince the soldiers to lay down their arms. The look like men resigned to dying at this point.
They don't look happy about it, but there's no fight left in them.
