Erasmus Randall
Erasmus, seeing that there's no fight left in the slaves also takes off after the large lumbering beast. It's so unfair that he moves so quickly, too. Note to self: get the other big guy's stuff later.

It is Targ's turn now.
Pursued from behind, and challenged ahead, Targ roars his displeasure. Suddenly, pain wracks him from head to toe.
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32
Bones splinter dangerously, but the big man runs on undeterred: smiling even...
He approaches Erianna's position and lowers his shoulder.
Overrun 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (1) + 24 = 25
Erianna stands he ground and stops the towering man in his tracks!
Ok. you guys are up. Esther you need to move to get line of sight. Erasmus can charge. Erianna can full attack.

Since Erasmus has attacked Targ, from behind, I am going to assume we are flanking him ;)
Erianna's look is fierce as Targ runs for his life, but is unable to get past her. Facing him squarely, she speaks softly - "Surrender fool. You have met your match today" - then bursts into a flurry of motion, peppering the man with attacks from the flat of her blade.
Scimitar Attack Non Lethal: 1d20 + 15 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 15 + 2 - 4 = 32Damage: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18
Scimitar Attack Crit Confirmation: 1d20 + 15 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 15 + 2 - 4 = 20Additional Damage if confirmed: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (4) + 17 = 21
Scimitar Haste Attack Non Lethal: 1d20 + 15 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (16) + 15 + 2 - 4 = 29Damage: 1d6 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18
I just hope his DR isn't the type that doubles vs. non-lethal damage... And I wish that Crit would confirm ;)

Massive blows ring from Eianna, but her mercy seems to yield little damage against the big man. Erasmus' cutlass bites the man's back and he bellows in pain. He raises his hammer high and brings it crashing down on Erianna. "Die with me harlot!"
1d20 + 24 ⇒ (20) + 24 = 44 for 4d6 + 30 ⇒ (3, 1, 5, 1) + 30 = 40
Confirm 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (11) + 24 = 35 for 4d6 + 30 ⇒ (3, 5, 1, 5) + 30 = 44
I hope that hits an image. Otherwise, take 84 damage.
With that finally hammer blow, Targ wavers, the topples, sending clouds of dust into the heavy air.
Suddenly, the endless barrage from Freedom's Eagle ceases.
See discussion.

Erianna Erasmus grab the body and lets head back to the place we were. We will turtle there while shooting those we can while we wait for your allies to get here
CSW: 3d8 + 6 ⇒ (3, 6, 8) + 6 = 23 for Erasmus on this round.
if there is no one threatening the party next round esther will cast a CSW on herself while they retreat.
CSW: 3d8 + 6 ⇒ (4, 2, 5) + 6 = 17 for esther

+1 Light Mithril Steel Shield of Bashing
+1 Armor (+6AC, 4 max dex, -1 ACP, Medium armor)
+2 Tulwar (Scimitar for in game purposes.)
+2 Studded Leather armor
+2 Falchion
+1 Armored Kilt
Masterwork Scorpion Whip
+3 Earthbreaker
Ring of Protection +2
Amulet of Natural Armor +2
Cloak of Resistance +3
Belt of Dex & Con +2
We're heading back into the hall then?
Erianna
Wow... Nice loot... I could use about half the items in that list, starting with the:
+2 Tulwar (Scimitar for in game purposes.) -> Of course ;)
Ring of Protection +2
Amulet of Natural Armor +2 -> All of the +armour items are upgrades for Erianna
Cloak of Resistance +3 -> Also an upgrade
Belt of Dex & Con +2 -> Wow... Great one.
Not really sure how we're dividing this though.
GM DSP, is Targ dead? If not:
Erianna makes sure the huge man is very securely tied and gagged, while they relieve him of his possessions, then dragging him back to the hall.
If he is dead she will simply drag him back :D
Mortimer Talinth
I, for one, am happy he's dead. With whatever his ludicrous strength score is I don't even want to try and restrain him. See discussion about loot.
Mortimer comes back down quickly. "Phase two, fight our way to the beach and meet up with the Vice Admiral. I can't tell the state of his ship from here, so I'm going to send Biel to check in." He looks at the girls, floating down so he's only just above them. "Will you stay with us? I can guarantee your safety if we make it aboard the ship, but I doubt fighting our way there will be easy."
As this goes on Mortimer has a second converstaion with Biel in his mind, double checking any damage done on the mechanical bird and rewinding him for the long flight. Fly to the Vice Admiral, tell him of what has occurred here and then return to me with any message he has as well as his situation. But Biel, your first priority is to stay alive, if you think landing on the ship is suicide then don't do it. Mortimer watches the blue clockwork fly off.
As Biel flies off, Mortimer takes out his healing wand and begins patching people up, continuing to pour out the magic until the wounds are nearly gone.
CLW Mortimer: 8d8 + 8 ⇒ (1, 3, 4, 3, 7, 3, 3, 8) + 8 = 40
CLW Esther: 6d8 + 6 ⇒ (3, 4, 5, 8, 6, 3) + 6 = 35
That should get me to full and Esther to 60. How damaged is everybody else?
Erasmus Randall
Erasmus winces as he looks over the three dead colossi.
And good riddance. Damn falchion-swingin mammoth.
Erasmus nods in agreement with Mortimer. Also, there is the whole "the settlement is being bombarded like you wouldn't believe" thing, though if you're particularly attached to the place I won't hold it against you.
Erianna
Mortimer comes back down quickly. "Phase two, fight our way to the beach and meet up with the Vice Admiral. I can't tell the state of his ship from here, so I'm going to send Biel to check in." He looks at the girls, floating down so he's only just above them. "Will you stay with us? I can guarantee your safety if we make it aboard the ship, but I doubt fighting our way there will be easy."
Erianna looks to Esther, then nods - "I agree that the best course of action seems to be heading towards the beach - you can count on us for that, and we'll take it from there afterwords. One problem at a time, now that this one is taken care of" - she offers a sidelong glance towards the corpse of Targ.

There is no main force. When you're done, get out. There is potentially more you could do, but you don't have to. (Reads: you dont have to stay and fight, but you could. The vice admiral might be mad, might now. IM NOT RAILROADING. DO WHATEVER YOU WANT! AH GMING SUX SOMETIMES!
Mortimer Talinth
Mortimer kind of shifts. "Well...there isn't really a main force. Just a strike squad, us, and a single boat to cause some damage and cause a distraction. Targ and his two best men are dead and we freed what slaves we could on the way here. Our mission is done and we intend to return for extraction and debriefing." He glances between them. "This is your way out, otherwise we probably couldn't come back for you."
Erasmus Randall
Let's at least bring the kitchen staff and these guys Erasmus gestures with his arm at the spear-chuckers We're in reasonable health and there's bound to be more slaves sitting around somewhere. Our orders were to kill Targ and get free as many as possible. We've only done one of those.
GM DSP

Erasmus, Esther, and Erianna manage to convince 53 slaves that they really are free. The others elect to stay behind believing the offer to be a trick of some kind.
Mortimer, from his lofty vantage, sees a town in ruin. There appears to be movement in the auction square at the harbor. It is difficult to tell whether friend or foe, but Mortimer can see spears rising above the press.
Biel speaks into the wizard's mind. Smoke rises from the deck, master. I see no movement aboard. Shall I get closer for more information?
Mortimer Talinth
Mortimer seems to think for a period of time, looking down at all the slaves. "I need to check on something, stay here but be prepared to defend yourselves." Mortimer flies out closer to the auction square, close enough to get a look but not close enough to get attacked.
GM DSP

Mortimer flies closer to the auction square and sees two score slaves huddles behind a low stone wall near a selling platform. Ringing them are 12 men in armor wielding spears and short swords and carrying bronze shields. (Same as Targ's guards.)
Master, I...The ship. Everyone's dead. I don't... Suddenly, Mortimer feels a cacophony of panic from his familiar. Come now! The Vice Admiral!
