Hutch, can you access the battlemap at all? You didn't move your character and never responded to whether you are fine with the position i moved you to.

Sorry, was on my phone when I did my post. Away from a computer now aswell. I can see the map, but not moving things around. My possirltion looks good, though after the charge in I would be next to one if the hooded guys.
The problem is you cannot charge without the charger feat. So you would have to have double moved on your turn before initiative to get into melee reach.
I'm going to assume you double moved on the turn before.

Just to help some people not overly familiar with 5e, couple of big changes from Pathfinder-
No Crit confirms, only Crit on 20(fighter archetype only exception)
No AoO for moving into threat range, only for moving away unless you use the disengage action.
There is no charge feature built in. (As our GM has explained)
You can heal during short rests by rolling your HD, you regain half your HD after a long rest.
There is more but these are the most common misconceptions I see.
There are likely more that have slipped my mind.
Addendum on crits, multiplier is always x2. There are exceptions such as half orcs and barbarians, in which case only extra weapon damage dice are rolled, no sneak attack, smite or superiority dice.
There are no full and standard attacks. You can always make your maximum number of attacks as an action.
There are no move actions and standard actions. You get a move, which is always just that, moving. And one action. In addition you get to manipulate one item (open a door, flip a table for cover, draw a weapon, get a scroll from a scroll case) and potentially get a bonus action under certain circumstances (such as certain spells and class abilities, or making a bonus attack with your off-hand weapon if you're dual wielding and using the attack action to attack with your main hand).

I've also noticed spells come with different assumptions. Cantrips scale with player power level, first level spells are more powerful but less plentiful, and overall there's fewer spells for you to know.
If Pathfinder does a second edition, I kinda want that for Pathfinder.

I was under the impression that sneak attack dice were doubled in 5e on a critical. Or... ah, nevermind. You meant those things in conjunction with it being done by a half-orc or barbarian.
Forgot to switch to the right alias again.
Venali Auondril wrote: I was under the impression that sneak attack dice were doubled in 5e on a critical. Or... ah, nevermind. You meant those things in conjunction with it being done by a half-orc or barbarian. They are, all dice are rolled twice on acrit. what i mean is that those half orc or barbarian abilities don't multiply such extra dice beyond that.
Lets say a lvl 3 half orc rogue lands a sneak attack crit with a shortsword. normally his danmage on sneak attacks would be 1d6+dex+2d6. On a crit he gets 3d6+dex+4d6, while for example a human rogue would get 2d6+dex+4d6 on a crit.

yes! they fear the red dragonborn! hahaha!

I just remembered one more important thing about 5e's differences: There is no 5 foot step. While you can move freely as long as you remain within the threat range of all enemies threatening you, you can only leave it without provoking an AoO by using the disengage action.

Also, I take it that's the last we'll see of Vak. sigh Oh well, it was nice having a servant for a little while.
Evendur, I will move your pawn back to its position where you moved on turn 1. Since your move is at the end of the round, we should wait for everyone else's moves before we can see where you should go, since Vorrak might go into flanking position first and the enemy might also change its position to get out of being flanked.

Can't get close enough to use Burning Hands, so the fried kobold is going to have to wait. Well, at least the ones surrounding you Hutch.

I'll have to figure out this passive check thing a little more. It's not quite like taking 10 in 3rd so I feel like I don't fully understand it. But i'll let you have this, Evendur, since you invested the feat. I'll try to pay more attention to passive checks.
A short explanation on the status monitor and wounded enemies:
Heavily wounded means they are at ~1/3 max HP or less
Wounded means they are above 1/3 but below or at 2/3 maximum HP
Lightly wounded means they are above 2/3 maximum HP but below full.
M Red Dragonborn Paladin HP: 7/12 | AC: 18| Intit: +0| PPerception: 13
passive perception= most things such as "Oh, I happen to see X, or I heard X" most times when you roll perception you are actively looking for something. I think at times like with the one in combat that comes down to GM ruling, you can say the PP, if it meets it meets it, or force a roll anyway.

All these people and their extra attacks. Hmph. I was literally this close to making a cleric (Tempest, or light) for this game just because of how much fun they seem. But I wanted to see how the paladin played haha.
and you can get flanking, you just have to move over 2 squares. I'm in the same spot I was after moving.

As see by that killer attack of opportunity there (which as a question should I even get. Did they just run and not disengage) Hutch is one of the strong.

We traded him for a human cultist. With that hard head, the cultist should be a much better battering ram.

I'm curious what you guys are planning to batter with a squishy humanoid.
