Kage's suggestion was to lock the doors and murder the lot of them.

Same here. Otherwise I would have tried to add more than just disagreement.
We could just kill everybody as suggested. We could go to the meeting and wait until after, following the target for a bit and then striking. We could draw it out, maybe fan the flames of rebellion for a bit and then finally strike in a very public fashion to make a statement.

Eris probably isn't happy about turning it into a group slaughtering, but if its the only way then "couldn't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs etc etc"

Eris if you back Gafar up in game, Kage will comply. He mostly views Milani's faithful as legitimate targets, where as our previous target seemed highly wasteful.

Perhaps this would be a good opportunity for Jon-wyn or Gaffar to take the lead a bit here? Despite his enthusiasm Kage is happy to stay in the shadows if that's what the plan calls for.

I'm wondering...Maybe Yanmei could utilize her poison skills. She could be a server and lace the tea. It doesn't have to be lethal but it could put people down so that specific targets could be killed without mass slaughter. Or everyone. Doesn't matter to her.

Could somebody please push the action forward a little? :)
PS I think Gaffar can only make that sense motive check on a natural 20.

Well we know the target's name: Thalia Boltin.
Perhaps try a bluff to get her to reveal herself? Something like 'Thalia we must defend the cause!'
If someone looking like her description (we have that right?) responds well you know what to do!

Alternatively, turn it into an action such as, "Defend Thalia with your lives" which (hopefully) forces people to cluster around your target, indicating who they are.
Of course, the idea falls flat if she uses a decoy but hey, its hard to predict everything.

Much like that time on Endor with Han Solo, I realized that Kage's failed roll may have been the best thing that could have happened to us. So far, we haven't really been scrutinized, but once we were alone with the Milanians, they would have turned their attention on us. I don't know how good they are, but it's best not to test it. So I figure to try and seize this chance to take out our target.

Kage would argue that the difference between an amateur and a professional is how you react when things do go wrong.

I had been waiting for Eris or Yanmei to add to the conversation. I suppose we could go for another target instead.

Unchained Poison rules can be found on the d20PFSRD if the GM approves

Yeah I know what you mean. Third book was my favorite, which is unusual since series usually go down hill. You probably need to read the whole thing twice for all the little things to sink in.
Oddly enough the same pattern seems to be true of his other light bringer series. I wasn't that keen on the first book, but the later ones got better.

If it helps, as an "arcane caster" Eris could try and bluff her way into a meeting with the wizard, or alternatively a scouting trip, but its doubtful whether I could bring me along, I think this idea is more of a future way to gain entry to his location than a "Step #1" in a plan of attack

Well, this game has been slowing up waaay too much. Partly, I think, is because of the summer months (which a friend of mine calls the Bane of Gaming), since between vacations, frequently changed schedules and other things, normal routines get thrown off.
But I'm not looking to throw in the towel yet -- unless interest has waned to the point that we might as well. Let me know if you are still interested in keeping this game going.
I'm thinking of a few things to inject some life back into this game:
Switch over the last two "jobs" in Korvosa to the free-form style and let you finish them off, so we can get to some more involved missions.
Hand wave them even more than that and jump straight into the main Korvosan plot (which I am thinking to be a sort of "reverse AP" of the Curse of the Crimson Throne Adventure Path).
Get out of Korvosa (if you're sick of Korvosa and Varisia in general) to do something wildly different.
Any preferences?
