I'm hearing passage (though I suppose if the dungeon were on fire that would need our attention first). Kyra moves a stealthily as someone wearing 40 lbs of armor and bearing a magical light into a dark hole-in-the-wall can.
stealth: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (18) - 3 = 15 Which as it turns out is not all that bad.

Kyra advances into the passage. On the other side she finds a chamber. Part of this chamber is in total ruin. The western half of this room appears to have mostly collapsed. The east half of the chamber is filled with small chests and barrels. Most are covered in dust, but some appear to have been recently disturbed.
The hallway is free from traps, but the chamber holds some stuff for Sarving to pick up: one of the small chests has capacity for 20 vials of liquid, but now only 4 vials of alchemist’s fire remain. A similar chest holds 6 vials of acid. Finally, inside a large chest lies a small coffer containing a bag filled with diamond dust worth 500 gp.
There are two more hallways leading to the north and south.

Xoricon picks up a vial of acid and a vial of alchemist's fire. "Who's good at throwing things?" he says in a low voice.
He whistles quietly at the diamond dust. "Isn't this used for hefty spells, Kyra?"

He whistles quietly at the diamond dust. "Isn't this used for hefty spells, Kyra?"
"Miracles more powerful than I can pray for, though perhaps someone at the temple could make use of it when I return." Kyra says.
"Both of these passages seem to converge northward." Perhaps some of us should proceed down both ways."[/b] Kyra chooses the flagstone passage to the east, and casts the illumination from her scimitar down its length.

"Goodness." Xoricon glances at Kyra. "Care to grant some of that divine guidance? Get ready to attack, everyone."
Assuming she does...
Xoricon holsters his spear and gives the door a good shoulder-shove.

Assuming she does...
Sure.

Xoricon opens the door with ease. Behind the door is another chamber. This chamber might have once been some sort of study, but it has fallen into ruin. The entire northeast corner of the chamber has collapsed, apparently because of some sort of drilling machine that emerged from the southwest corner and is now half-buried under the rubble to the northeast. The debris-choked tunnel from which it emerged is plainly visible.
The drilling machine was destroyed by a earth elemental which still lurks in this room.

Thanks again for the healing Ashara. If you want to trade up duties (front-line for healing) just let me know. I've been a mostly non-support person thus far and you actually have the better AC. ;) Not that I mind, I just feel guilty hogging the scimitar. And...
"Xoricon, you will never find yourself worthy of a Kellish woman acting like that." Kyra finds herself a snit and rolls herself into it.

Scattered among the debris in this chamber are a number of ancient tomes, but most of them have all but turned to dust. You discover a pair of intact tomes written in Draconic.
In addition, the remnants of the construct contain a crystal power core, but to gain thre crystal you have to dig out the machine from the debris. DC15 strength
The books concern alchemy and various bits of esoteric arcane lore.
Anyone who references the texts for an hour can attempt her next Knowledge (arcana) check with a +2 circumstance bonus.

Kyra: If you want I can tank a little although Ashara is useless for dealing any kind of damage at the moment (I plan to change this a bit later on)
Given your weapons are a heavy crossbow and a dagger, you're right, I should probably be closer to the front (for now). Weirdest group ever. Everyone's got a heal stick and the two starting tanks are actually ranged artillery. ;)
I've got access to a scroll if we need it to understand Draconic.

Use it! :)

Heaving mightily, Xoricon extracts the construct from the junk and gazes at the crystal. "This place sure loves crystals and vials. That goblin..." he shudders. "At least this thing was never living."

Xoricon digs the machine out of the debris and retrieves the power core before moving on towards the south with the rest of the group.
This next chamber appears to still be in use. Its floors have recently been swept, and its three tables appear to be organized and well kept. Arranged across the tables are numerous strange alchemical devices, some of which are suspended over low-burning flames and emit pale ribbons of smoke. Others simply bubble and boil of their own volition. The room is occupied by three goblins working at the desks.

The plot clearly says they don't attack until somebody approaches one of the desks ;)
