Brad follows along as well.
GMGhost1776
As Furnock opens the southern doors. Ikvvy, Eldrian and Brad, realize that a pair of Siswa are standing guard in the hallway right in front of the doorway. The elves have their backs to the door.
The Siswa are surprised, as is everyone else with the exceptions of Ikvvy, Eldrian and Brad. You three may act before the Siswa can respond to the door opening.
Ikvvy
Ikvvy swiftly takes a step forward and moves her hand in a weird pattern, showering the two siswa in a rainbow of colors!
"Color Spray!"
3 or 4 HD: The creature is blinded and stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 1 rounds, then stunned for 1 round.
5 or more HD: The creature is stunned for 1 round.
Sightless creatures are not affected by color spray.
Arcane Failure: 1d10 ⇒ 5
Eldrian
Anticipating the actions of his sister Eldrian waits, arrows ready to fly if any remain standing.
Point Blank Longbow(Adamantium Arrow): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

Surprise round
Brad puts his back against the opposite doorway, and enters into a combat stance. He seems ready to charge the enemy. Move. How high are the ceilings here?
Braden Swanson
I realized we haven't rolled initiative yet and the bad guys could act before us. So I've changed my action to moving to engage - after the color spray, of course.
GMGhost1776
Siswa #1 save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Siswa #2 save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
The First Siswa drops and the second one is hit by Eldrain's arrow but stays up.
Braden still has an action in the surprice room.
The ceilings in the dinning room are 20' feet high but the double doors - and the Siwa is on the other side of the door - is only about 7 feet high.
Braden Swanson
Oops, didn't realize that there was more to do!
Brad moves further into the room and attacks the flat-footed Siswa, aiming to knock him out.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22; Nonlethal Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
GMGhost1776
The last Siswa is knocked out by Braden.
As you look at this hallway you see that it is lined with what must be the private rooms of the Siswa students and teachers. Instead of a traditional door a heavy dark curtain hangs at the entrance to each room.
You wait a moment but no one seems to have noticed the two guards being disabled.
There is stairway up at either end of the hallway.
Ikvvy
Ikvvy remains still now that she has some time to check on the hall. Any noise could draw attention to them, so she avoided speaking, pointing at the man who Braden just slashed and saying something, although no sound comes from her mouth.
Braden Swanson
Brad proceeds to bind and gag the Siswa.
Arean Star-Eyed
Ikvvy activates Message focusing Eldrian, Braden and Arean and whispers: "Is the hurt one still alive?"
Arean whispers her reply, "I will do what I can, for either." She does what she might for them, short of magics.
Heal+5: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Pro: Healer+5: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
GMGhost1776
Rooms m,p,q,r,s are all empty of anything intresting.
In room o there are five Siswa sound asleep. That you manage to avoid awaking.
In room n however ... 1d100 ⇒ 74 you pull back the curtain and see five seemingly sleeping Siswa only to have one of the "sleeping Siswa" say
Marcos DeAngelis
*Assists with beating. Possibly with generous application of boot to head.*
Ikvvy
Ikvvy closes the curtain before they could notive anything else, keeping her voice low not to call attention. "Can't we just let them be for now and move along? They won't tell us anything useful."
Braden Swanson
"The lady's got a point. Let's bring em back to the serpent and see what happens."
Arean Star-Eyed
*Beats unconscious*, again, if they wake? Or glide past and hope to finish freeing them of the magic before they wake up and make us kill them? Once in serpent room, they are freed, yes?

Sorry to take so long to get back to you, but I wanted to be sure of this before I responded to the "take the Siswa to the Dragon Guard plan". I've been looking over the maps and the posts of the gameplay and I'm certain that party only knows of three ways back to that room.
1)The roadside Shrine portal (1/2 mile or more outside the temple/school.)
2)The well with the door at the bottom that opens onto the prison cells.(The party has the key to this door and the entrance is on the top level of the temple/school)
3)The stairs down to the bottom level of the temple/school. (The stairs that the skeletons that you killed came down). These stairs actually start under a trapdoor behind the altar in the sanctuary that is on the level you are currently on. The sanctuary that the Rahib is probably in at this moment.
With that information collected and presented to you what do want to do?
Braden Swanson
"A good plan," agrees Brad.
GMGhost1776
Sorry somehow I missed you updated on Wed. I thought you were still debating.
The party renders leaves the Siswa "sleeping" and makes it way to the east stairs. At the top of the stairs is an octagonal room, 30 feet in diameter. The Floor is dirt; the walls and domed ceiling are made of stone. A 2 foot hight platform covers half of the room. The stairs go up into the room on either side of the platform. In the center of the platform rest a statue of a man sitting with his legs crossed. He appears very strong and has a long beard. The statue is 15 feet high.
On the platform behind the statue quite easy for you to see as you come up the stairs but very hard to spot from the entrance accross the room are three stone like huminoids with wings looking much like the gargolyes on top of cathedrals. The three are standing admist of what appears to thousands of loose silver couns. As you reach the top of the stairs they stare at you in surprise.
Coming up the staircase has caught the monsters completely off guard everyone gets a suprise round action.
Should have a new map up later this morning, after I get home from work

"Finally a chance to test this blade!"
Marcos charges (assuming the bad guys are within 30') and slices at one of the monsters.
Charging Power Attack vs Evil: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23 to hit,1d8 + 10 + 2d6 ⇒ (8) + 10 + (2, 5) = 25 damage
Ikvvy
Knowledge: 1d20 ⇒ 14 +7 to Arcana, +3 to nature, +6 to History.
Ikvvy tries to understand what are the creatures so she can decide on the best course of action to help the charging Marcos.
GMGhost1776
Eldrian and Ikvvy feel free to look up the gargoyle information on the PRD.
Ikvvy, we're in the eastern stairway, which if I'm reading the map right is room 13.
'''''''
Marcos and Furnok attack the creature closest to the party and deliver powerful blows to the creature. It staggers and clearly very injured but it does not go down. Furnok you realize that it seemed take far less damage from your blow then it should have.

Brad leaps into the air and aims a flying kick at Gargoyle 1!

If that hits...Trip: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 1 = 9
GMGhost1776
Brad's attack in the surprise round manages to just barely hurt the gargoyle.
Furnok's second blow doesn't seem to bother the gargoyle at all.
gargoyle 1 vs Furnok claw 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12claw 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16gore: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
