As you wait, it becomes clear that Vince is not going to regain consciousness anytime soon. You notice after a few moments that an illusion spell fades from the head of the devil. Behind the illusion is a silver headband with a strong transmutation aura.
The contract is similar to the others though a thorough examination reveals just a slight difference in the magical auras between this scrolls and the others.
With nothing else apparent in room, it is just matter of deciding: to wait for Vince to regain consciousness or to bring him along. Or to sit and bicker about who gets the magic item.

Adrien Riventhorn |

Adrien pulls a small glass vial out of a small pouch. He holds it up in front of the conscious group members. "What do you all think? A little liquid fire to set the memories free? This one has a different aura about it, so I doubt any other room will hold documents of importance." He looks down at Vince though, wondering about the fallen comrade. "Perhaps we should move him first."

Adrien Riventhorn |

Adriens brow raises at Molos's description. "I would be more than happy to take this if nobody else desires it."

Mallichatti Cervagio |

"Right, so multiple devils it seems. Dice only seemed to think there was one. There might be something to Sydney's theory. Or maybe it's different devils under one house in different places. Too many unanswered questions and I don't think our halfling friend has all the facts."
Slinging the unconscious Vince over his shoulder Malichatti starts to make his way out of the room.
1d8 ⇒ 8 rest of cure serious potion.
"Sleeping beauty and me will be on the platform when you're done in here."

Sydney Bristove |

Can we argue about magical item once we are out of here? and i believe we might still have a few rooms to cover. And at least we have that room with the secret compartment inside the wall that we couldn't open. We shall leave sleeping beauty on the bridge while we take care of the rest

The party advances to the platform opposite the minotaur room. Mallichatti lays Vince on the platform and then opens the door.
You can hear the buzzing as soon as the door is opened. 4 creatures that appear to be giant mosquitoes are flying inside the room. The room holds the familiar pedestal and nothing else in its 50x50 frame.
Adrien: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Molos: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Mallichatti: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

You do not need to enter combat; you can just close the door. I rolled inits in case you wanted to.

Will Save Sleep: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Will Save Mists: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
The stirges, seemingly unconcerned with you still standing just outside the doorway, get hit with the mists near the side wall where they had gathered. They all gain the shaken condition and take 1 Wisdom damage. One of them falls asleep crashes to the ground, and wakes up again, only to be hit by the mists.
wis damage: 1d2 ⇒ 1
Adrien, seeing an open path to the contract around the mist, hurries to the pedestal unlocks the cage and grabs the contract. As the stirges try to escape the mists he hurries back through the door and closes it behind him.

---GM Shadowtail24--- |
With a mark of "5S" on this door, the party returns to the bridge and spins around. You face the door between "2E" and "4D". You approachthe door and try to open it, but are blocked by a magical force.
A detect magic check shows an abjuration barrier in front of the door. A scan of the room reveals that none of the other doors have a similar barrier.

Mallichatti Cervagio |

"Why not just talk and manipulate your way past the giant blood sucking insects? Wonderful. Vince awake yet? Nevermind. Go ahead and start popping them out of the air with that bow of yours adrien I'll just bat them down when they come this way."

Adrien Riventhorn |

Adrien draws his bow in anticipation. "Then by all means, let there be blood." Adrien looses an arrow at the closest one.
Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Damage 1d8 + 3 - 1 + 3d6 ⇒ (5) + 3 - 1 + (2, 3, 5) = 17

Shadowtail24 |

Adrien has to step into the room to get a shot off but it doesn't disrupt his aim as his arrow takes the nearest stirge through the wing. It flutters but approaches.
Adrien: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Sydney: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Molos: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15

Adrien went so Molos and then the stirges.

I was liking Egorian so far. These houses with their petty politics need tons of mercenaries. Best of all, they always wanted it to look like someone else had done the deed so I never had to face any retribution. With a few minor jobs complete, I was ready for a step up in difficulty. Asmodeus' Rest seemed the right place to be; clean enough that a lesser noble would still visit but plain enough that the noble can conduct his business privately.
Despite the tavern being mostly empty, there was a dwarf on a platform in the corner singing opera ballads. Opera? Really? Still, he was pretty good and it was because I was listening to the dwarf that I didn't focus on the lady that had just entered until she sat down next to me. I turned slowly, saw she was about to say something, and spoke before her, "And what did you do to be given such an undesirable task?"
The lady smiled one of those coy smiles that all women try oon men. She was attractive, but this wasn't business and a plot like that wasn't going to work, but she didn't know that. "Or maybe it won't be so undesirable," I say, smiling with my best cheek forward.
She frowns. Perhaps I wasn't subtle enough. "Business it is than," she states in a much more serious tone. "Our mutual master Moloch wishes that we should speak." I should've been more shocked that she was a follower of Moloch but I was too busy thinking about the alliteration in "Mutual master Moloch". She kept speaking though, either ignoring my distraction, or not noticing it. "He has found you unfaithful recently, and requires a greater show of obedience." That brought a laugh out. I'm being unfaithful. I literally cannot be unfaithful, I must do as promised. But then the music softened, funny how I noticed that, and something of an epiphany struck me; I was being unfaithful by being so careful to not make promises. The thought hit me so hard that I thought someone else had put it in my head. I looked around quickly, but it was just me, the lady, the bartender and the dwarf. As a force of habit I cast Detect Magic and looked at the lady. Nothing. So she didn't enchant me.
She must have noticed my reaction though, "Ah, not such a funny thought, is it? I shut off the Detect Magic in an effort to concentrate. "Don't worry though, like I said, there is a way to increase your goodwill." She paused there, for much more than a moment. "And the power that comes with increased favor." That thought I liked. A lot. Like, really liked. There was another noticeable pause.
"You need to kill Alana Thrune." I couldn't help myself; I laughed again. Alana, the high noble of Thrune. But again, a thought punctured my mind, I needed to accept the task. It was mush stronger this time; and this time I knew it was coming from outside my own mind, but it was too strong to resist.
"I... will... kill. Alana" As soon as I said it, the pressure left. I gasped, and turned quickly as I heard footsteps behind me. Two tieflings were approaching from a table, one of them had only one horn. They must have been invisible, because they definitely weren't there before.
The one with the lone horn spoke first. "What is your task?"
I sigh. "To kill Alana." He looked at the other tiefling who nodded. "Molos, Sydney, well done. Vince, I think it's time you learned about Taishan."
I walked about behind them, leaving my drink unfinished on the bar. I had a lot to think about but one thought dominated my mind: Who else named Alana do I know?"

Adrien Riventhorn |

Ok, so Adrien will sheathe the bow as a move action, 5 foot step within range of dirge, but opposite of Mallichatti, draw his rapier (free action) and attack the closest dirge (standard).
Attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Damage 1d8 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (6) + 4 - 1 = 9

---GM Shadowtail24--- |
Mallcihatti's blow is a killing strike, clearing a path to the other stirges. Adrien steps up and attacks one, scoring a slice across its body.
I'm asusming Molos skips again
One stirge attacks each Mall and Adrien.
Mall: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Adrien: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Mall Damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
Grab: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Adrien is too light on his feet for the stirge but the one fighting Mall manages to stick the stringer into the man's arm. When Mall tries to shrug it off it stays stuck in his shoulder.
Mall takes 1 damage. You are grappled by the stirge. Sydney Mall and Adrien are next.

Mallichatti Cervagio |

DR says no unless they can bypass it somehow. Did I get an AoO for it flying through my reach or did I miss something?
Feeling the creature probe at his hide MAllichatti casually reaches out with a cestus covered fist and smashes it.
1d20 + 10 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 10 - 2 - 2 = 23 CEstus power attack.
1d4 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 4 = 11 Damage

---GM Shadowtail24--- |
It would not bypass your DR. In rolling against both you and Adrien, I did not account for your reach.
Mall AoO: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
damage: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Between the Bardiche swipe as it closed, and the cestus punch, the Stirge is not faring well, but it's still holding on, it's proboscis still in Mall's shoulder.
