Dario joins Samms, a smile playing on his lips.

Isaac looks to Dario. He smiles. "Ah, Dario. Quite odd to be seein' you with me, lad. Makin' sure that the "unicorn man" doesn't find himself in another fight?" He turns to Samms. "Thunderbolt? Now why ar' ye be callin' him that?"

Oooh, two daytime actions!

Ranak just nods his head slightly when Isaac makes his request.

Later in the galley.

After a bit of idle talk with the chef, Ranak makes a request.

Kroop, during my time cooking yesterday I noticed some bottles of Chelish brandy. How do you feel about my helping my recent mates get some gear back? All I ask is for some quality drink for the people I came on board with. They want as much of their gear back as they can get, and Grok seems to favor the good stuff. If you need a reason, I did make the feast yesterday, and actually drew praise from Harrigan."

Then he waits while looking expectantly at the cook.

Isaac rolls his eyes. "Well, Dario. I'm bein' eva' so glad tha' you would be supportin' me." He smiles at the monk.

Alabaster smiles at Shivikah and runs his brush over a particularly tough spot while beginning his tale.
Bein' ye knowin' tha' Besmara wan't always tha' Queen o' tha Sweet Trade? Before she was bein' a goddess, she was a water spirit, albeit a strong 'un. She was gatherin' her power before even tha' age o' enthronement, and been tha queen o tha seas fer millennia an' millennia. I'm fer tellin' ye tha story o' how she was fer finally being recognized by all tha' other gods as tha' official Queen o' tha Seas.

She was already fer havin' tha two ships she be famous fer, tha Kelpie's Wrath an' tha Sea Wraith, an' she already was fer havin' tha worship o' tha coastal village all along tha' Mwangi Expanse an' tha' Shackels, but tha' other gods weren't fer recognizin' her because she han't gone through tha' test o' tha' Starstone. So she was fer devisin' a plan ta make 'em.

She took tha' Kelpie's wrath an' had it steer itself on tha' mortal seas, an' had a doppelgänger be lookin' like her an' captain'n it, ransackin' all tha major temples o' tha other dieties in tha coastal cities, burnin' em to ta tha groun' and takin' tha gold an' riches. Naturally, this was fer pissin' off tha gods, bringin' all their attentions to tha mortal realm. She had blessed tha' doppelgänger, see, an' who' her power there wan't a single mortal tha' could be beatin' him an' his crew. After a week, tha' gods finally had ta' intervene. As soon as they were comin to our plane, she was fer hatchin' tha real plan.

She took tha Seawraith on tha planes o' tha gods, and started ransackin' their very homes. From each one, she was fer stealin somethin' important, somethin' tha each one o' them was fer holdin' dear to their very tenets and worships, and she hid em good. No one's fer knowin' wha' she took, or where she was fer hidin' it, but it made tha gods feel right dumb an weak. They all agreed righ' then an' there tha' she was strong enough ta be a real god, and forbade their followers from destroyin' her shrines as a false idol.

Now, she promises tha' any who be findin' tha' treasure she hid, and be strong an' cunnin' enough ta' beat tha' traps and guardians, tha they'll be rewarded by becomin' tha first mate on 'er own ship, and spend tha rest o' eternity by 'er side, pillagin' tha' outer planes an' livin' tha very dreams tha' we all be holdin' dear.

An' believe me, bein' by tha side o' one as beauteous an' lusty as 'er be somethin' tha any pirate coul' never be fer dreamin' o'!!

He ends his take with a hearty laugh, and his customary smile.

Before Edward would go to sleep he'd cast 2 CLW on himself.

CLW: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (2, 2) + 2 = 6

Isaac and Dario
Giffer lets out loud laugh at the questions about the monk before answering in turn
"Aye Thunderbolt 'cause a what ya did to pour Syl the other mornin'. A couple o' the crew heard o' what happened from the others what were with 'er, said they never saw anyone strike so fast and so hard, like thunder and lightning it was, hence the name." she finishes with another laugh

After hearing the brief exchange between the two she perks up and says
"I don't think ye'll be having anymore trouble from any of the crew 'cept maybe Plugg one o' these days."

Ranak
Kroop looks you in the eyes before answering, being carefull of what he says and does
"Aye that be some fine brandy ye be thinkin' 'bout takin' from me humble galley, belongs ta the capn' it does. Don' think I can be jus givin' it away that's fer sure."

He then purposefully drops a potato he was holding and lets it roll away from him before going after it

"Just hope it doesn get away from me while I'm busy doin' aught else in here, 'tis a mighty busy place to be."
You get both bottles of brandy

Alabaster
Shivikah listens closely to the tale, smiling and happy to hear it recounted by one so young. When he finishes she claps him on the back before speaking
"Aye 'tis a classic tail o' the Mistress that is but well told it was. Thank ye fer that, it does me good ta know her greatness is still so respected by one so young. I had ye pinned fer a sorry excuse as a pirate, but ye ain't so bad after all." with that Shivika moves away

Edward
Btw sorry about the last post mate totally skipped over you

Cogward nods back at the mention of the various deities worshipped aboard the ship
"Aye most people 'round these parts worship tha' Lady o' the Seas Besmara as she rules these waters more then the other's, but I put my faith and worship into Pharasma. 'Least she know how to respect a man's fate and efforts without bein' swayed by paltry things and I would have her greet me in the after life and take me for her own, if such is the fate she saw for me."

After citing a brief prayer to Pharasma, Cogward notices Plugg approaching and returns to work, looking up briefly with a nod of approbation towards Edward as a sign of recognition for the events that just transpired

This will be my extra daytime action if I am able to take it as such.

Ranak takes the bottles of brandy and keeps them hidden away until he can get Isaac alone.

He first makes his way to where the supplies are stored and gets a sack of potatoes. Then, he looks for Issac. Seeing Dario with him, he motions for him to keep his distance.

Stealth to stay hidden from prying eyes: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

"I managed to get what you need." he says while passing the bottles to Issac.

"Pass the second bottle to Dario when you get a chance."

Ranak waits till the bottles are hidden away.

"I have to get back to the kitchen with these. A cook's work is never done on the Wormwood!" he says jovially. Picking up the sack of potatoes, he makes his way to the galley.

Honestly Ranak you can pretty much hand that off without needing to use an action, why don't you choose another action if you want so you don't waste it? :)

Stealth to stash (just in case): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

Isaac takes both bottles. He smirks and whispers, "Aye. Thank ye', mate. I'm not being the stealthiest man. It was by sheer luck tha' I manage to hide these. So I'll have Dario mee' me at Grok's." He then makes his way over to Dario. He whispers, "Dario, mee' me at the Quartermaster's tonight. We have a means to be gettin' our gear. Ifin' you be wantin' it back." He then moves back to his job.

I'll do my nighttime action post on confirmation from Dario or if he wants to send someone else.

Not exactly a "bit" like I promised, but barring something crazy happening, here is my nighttime action

Alabaster finishes up his work for the day, taking care to put everything back where it goes while taking the opportunity to look around as much as he can to kind of get a rough sense of the ships layout. No action to do so, just for later roleplay purposes.

After the bloody hour, he makes his way down to the hold where the grog is, taking extra care to make a show out of downing it in one swig before finding Giffer in the crowd. He slides into a seat next to her and smiles.
Oy, I be spendin most o tha day lookin about tha ship fer places ta be makin a lil fun, but I wernt fer findin any offhand. I'll be lookin harder tomorrow, fer sure!

He spies Shivikah and waves to her, flashing his grin. He then grabs another mug of grog and continues.
So be gettin everythin back but me cutlass, an I was fer losin me pistol when tha Shinin Skull sunk. Grok was fer sayin she had some, but I was fer havin ta buy one. Howabouts would me be havin ta go ta get one wiffout havin ta pay tha heavy price she be wantin'?

He smiles again, and waits for her reply.

HIs actual action is going to be going to sleep early, but I wanted to have a little conversation first.

Ranak
You look around the main hold, searching for anything of use but the only objects you see are two light ballista, a disassembled light catapult, ammunition for both and twelve barrels containing two gallons of oil each

As you continue your various chores for the day all seems to be going well until you hear a loud scream emanate from below decks seconds before Jack Scrimshaw appears.
You all notice how ashen faced and scared he appears as Plugg comes to find out what is going on. From the snippets you hear of the conversation you know that Jack was on ratting duty as many of you have been before, but the way he tells it there's something bigger than simple rats down there seeing as it managed to take a chunk out of his arm.
While Sandara ministers to the injured scrub, Plugg gathers you all together as 'volunteers' to go down to the hold and not come back up until you've taken care of whatever is down there.

As you arrive in the bilges you notice that it is blisteringly hot down here and see many rats scamper away from you as you arrive but nothing big enough to do what happened to Jack

Perhaps the rat is backed up in a darker place.
Hence Edward casts dancing lights and sends them towards the rat's last location.

Dang it. I'm infected.

Isaac curses at being hit by the rats. He feels some exhaustion wash over him. He settles into a more defensive stance. "Forget givin' me the same as Thunderbol', lad. I'm bein' in need of some healin'! I can't seem to hit anythin' without me cutlass!"

Settling into Total Defence, giving me a +4 dodge bonus to my AC for 1 round.

Jesal would summon his eagle where he could reach the most in one round. SW corner by those three rats, most likely.

It will attack them in clockwise order on Round 2

Jesal for his part, will attempt to influence a rat (perhaps the one in the back) with wild empathy getting it to stand down(assuming DM allows in combat use)

Wild Empathy: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19

You are allowed to use wild empathy in combat however, from the description, you have to spend 10 consecutive full-round actions (1 minute) to do it and I'm guessing that if it's being attacked while you do this it won't really want to be your friend

It says generally 1 minute. Sometimes more, sometimes less, which is why I asked. No, I won't spend 10 rds

Alabaster backs away as the rats advance, unsure of what to do, considering he doesn't have any spells or a weapon. As he skitters a few feet, he suddenly shimmers and pops into two Alabasters, like he did during the fistfight. Move Action-Trickery Blessing

He trails off as he starts to look around the bilges, trying to see if he can find some sort of weapon to use against the rats.

This will be my round 2 action.

"Ah ha! There you are you little furball!" Ranak says as he aims his hand.

Frost Ray Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2

The remaining rat near Dario persists in his attack, frantically trying to survive the onslaught from the most apparent threat
Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Isaac, having suffered a strike from the foul little vermin, moves to a defensive stance in an attempt to better protect himself

Jesal's eagle swoops over the heads of the rats laying down a barrage of attacks and wounding one of them (the one in front of Alabaster). The disgusting creature hisses in frustration at the swooping bird as he flies up out of reach.

The two rats, unable to attack the eagle, split their attention between Isaac and Alabaster as the pirate seems to cower in fear of them and poses less of a threat.
Attack Isaac: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Attack Alabaster: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Dario continues pounding away at the little monsters with savage glee, happy to be able to cut loose and do some real damage.
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 Damage: 1d6 + 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + (3) + 5 = 10
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 Damage: 1d6 + 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (5) + (3) + 5 = 13

Ranak, seeing the beasts, quickly reacts by sending out a freezing beam of light to strike the same one Jesal's eagle attacked, felling the furry creature

After a quick search around the room, Alabaster sees a suit of leather armour and three heavy maces lying in a crate nearby

The last rat moves towards Edward, determined to do damage to the at least one of the invaders before dying and makes it into combat while avoiding being squashed by the wary monk.

Attack on Edward: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Edward make a Fort save, and btw I consider that you are back to the same amount of health you were at before your fight with Cogward

Edward brings forth a ball of light to help them all see better as they fight off the furry creatures but is attacked in the process as the light distracts him
AoO from Rat: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21 Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4 or Critical Damage: 2d4 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7 Not sure if animals can crit, anyone?

Cursing and thinking about what to do, Jesal looks around for a weapon before starting to summon another eagle as the first disappears.
