Alabaster Cain |

Alabaster lets out a low whistle at Dario's powerful blow, and steps from his sitting position on the edge of his bunk to his feet. He stretches a bit, and then takes a small step toward the pirates, as his body shimmers and splits into two images of the young pirate.
Trickery Blessing, move action
He speaks at them, his voice low and menacing, and the glare from both Alabasters is withering. He speaks at the most threatening looking of the bunch.
Ye best be lettin' us pass, methinks. It's a bad sorta day for havin' tha vengeance of tha pirate queen called down in ye by me, see?

Ack, I meant to spoiler this earlier. Here is the text for the Trickery Blessing
Copycat (minor): At 1st level, as a move action you
can create an illusory double of yourself. This double
functions as a single mirror image, and lasts for a number
of rounds equal to your warpriest level, or until the
illusory duplicate is dispelled or destroyed. You can have
no more than one copycat at a time. This ability doesn’t
stack with the mirror image spell.

Isaac moves towards the deck, yawning as he moves. However, his gaze narrows as the sight of the pirates blocking the way. Isaac moves back a bit when Syl shoves him. He watches as the others work on the situation. His tired gaze narrows at the offending pirates. He says nothing, just moving in a defense position.

Syl takes Dario's lightning punch to the jaw and is sent reeling back from the impact, pain and surprise clearly registering in her wild eyes.
Alabaster stares down Jaundiced Jape with the might of his magic empowering his voice, clearly frightening the half-orc pirate
Sotto Voce save Jaundiced Jape: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
Jape is shaken for 1 round
Syl gets back up, still a little unsteady on her feet as she throws a punch back at Dario hoping to get even with him
Syl attacks Dario: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
but her punch goes wild and misses Dario by at least a foot
Aretta attacks Edward: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Edward is interrupted mid speech as Aretta lets out a shout and swings towards his stomach. Seeing the blow coming, Edward sidesteps, obviously understanding that diplomacy was not an option here
Jesal's speech puts the fear of him into Aretta, and she visibly shy's away from him putting Edward between the two of them
Aretta is shaken for 1 round
Jape, despite his fear, moves forward to strike the little blonde priest.
Jape attacks Alabaster: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Damage Alabaster: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 nonlethal
despite his fear and the tentativeness of his approach, Jape still strikes true and lands a blow on his agressor
Isaac, seeing the fight starting up moves to protect himself from other attackers
And no, none of you have armour it is all in Groks less then gentle care at the moment
Ranak moves towards the only unnocupied member as he scares the witts out of him with his imposing stature and demeanour. Fipps is shaken for 1 round
Despite all this Fipps throws a punch Ranak's way, his fear driving him to fight back
Fipps attacks Ranak: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
Damage Ranak: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
and he hits with a wild haymaker

Alabaster Cain |

Alabaster has a mirror image spell up, so there is a 50% chance that his attacker will miss him. I knew that blessing would come in handy!

Alabaster Cain |

Alabaster laughs at Jape, and speaks.
Oy, yer not fer bein' a smart one, are ye? Ye already seen yer overmatched and ye still wanna tangle wit us, ye bowlegged, sorry seadog?
He throws a punch square at Jape's nose, putting all of his might into it.

Damage (nonlethal): 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Attack (unarmed): 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 3 - 2 = 3

After avoiding Syl's weak punch, Dario lets off with a quick one two jab. He connects solidly with the second, knocking the hostile rigger to the ground where she lies completely immobile.
Syl is out of the combat
Alabaster, having successfully tricked the mute half-orc, lets fly with a strong left to the face breaking his nose. Jape catches himself sluggishly before fleeing from the battle, clutching his bleeding nose.
Japes is out of the combat
Edward moves to the offensive striking a stinging blow on the mad harlot despite his cavalier attitude towards women. Aretta takes the blow on her shoulder wincing in pain but stands firm, rage filing her eyes and fuelling her movements. Angered by her attacker she screams out, cursing the bard and insulting his mother as she goes for his face
Aretta attacks Edward: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Damage on Edward: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
where she lands a striking blow to the jaw
Since Jape is out I made your attack against Aretta since she is the best choice to bullrush
Jesal moves away from Aretta, causing her to strike out at him as he moves away
Aretta attacks Jesal: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
but she misses her target b a long sot as the Mwambi man swings away. Once he lands a little farther he turns back mumbling a few words and swinging his hand in a large arc causing an explosion of water to burst out of nowhere and sweep Aretta off her feet and down the stairs belowdecks
Aretta is out of combat
Isaac and Ranack, since Fipps is the last pirate still there I moved your actions to him instead
Both Isaac and Ranak team up to try and take out Fipps but the fat man shows a surprising amount of agility as he avoids both strikes
Seeing his fellow bullies fall to the group and their eyes turn on him, Fipps decides it would be in his best interests run away so that he could live to fight another day
Fipps leaves the battle

You all take a short breather before moving up on deck in time for the start of your shift. You see Jape and Fipps arrive in time as well, all though the do look worse for wear.
Aretta and Syl however are not so lucky and arrive late to the displeasure of Mr. Plugg. You all watch in satisfaction as both misfits each receive two lashes of the cat before being sent to work, their gashes still bleeding.
Days Duties
1. Isaac is working the lines and must make a Profession (sailor) or Dex check and a Con check
2. Ranak arrives in the kitchen and sees Kroop dead drunk on the floor, meaning he must make the meals alone today. And what a bad day for this to happen! Captain Harrigan has decided to celebrate the glory of Besmara this evening and has requested that you butcher one of the Wormwoods pigs in honour of goddess. I need a Profession (cook) or Survival check and a second Profession (cook) check. Additionally, you may not take any Daytime Ship Actions today
3. Dario and Jesal work together to clean out the ships filthy bilges. I need a Str check and a Con check from both of you
4. Alabaster and Edward are told to finish up the rat catching job that was started the previous day. I need a Stealth, Survival or Dex check from both of you

Before continuing, how many HP did Ranak heal from rest? He was hurt on day 1 from the whip, and then was hurt after he intimidated Fipps. Basically, I am trying to get a HP total.
Moving on:
Does Ranak get any visitors while he is in the kitchen?
"Ah, you poor fool! Good thing I know my way around a kitchen, notwithstanding this mess."
Now that Ranak is alone for the first time, he does a look around the galley to see if anything noteworthy or of value can be found. If so, he does not take anything just yet. That will come later.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Before the group separates for duty, Alabaster pulls Ranak to the side.

Edward Irmington |

Edward's daytime action aside his work will be influence.
Taking....Crimson Cogward.
Diplomacy Cogward: 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
First guy he tries to talk to and the roll is low...go figure..
He walks up to the man, a swab it seems.
"Hello there. You must be Cogward right? Edward, allround helping hand and tavern musician, prior to the heartly recruitment.
Since this ship is a new place to me, i'd like to know who i'm going to work with. Where do you hail from prior to your current position?"
Should the guy be a religious type;
"Are you a follower of the lady of the seas like the fellow over there? Or is another to count you among his/her faithful?", pointing at Alabaster.
Checking to see anything of note about the guy he can talk about later, or maybe as a part of current influence.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Isaac Silvermane |

In that case, I'll change the 'work diligently' action to a 'influence' action to talk to... Rosie.
Isaac swings around with ease on the riggings (probably to Samms's amusement). During his break, he sees a halfling woman on the deck. He dives closer, hanging near her in the ropes. 'Lo there. Can't say I've seen ye before. Name's Isaac Silvermane. And may I ask fer yer name, lass?"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

GM Goliath |

Strength: 1d20 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 4 = 15
Constitution: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Due to Dario's lack of presence in game and irl I will simply bot his rolls and say he took the work diligently action for today
Ranak
As you glance around the kitchen and search while you work you spot a large assortment of daggers, handaxes and even a shortsword being used as kitchen utensils. You also find the store of alcohol which consists of a barrel of common wine, six bottles of good Chelish brandy and a couple flasks of quality rum. You also find a large cookbook in a cluttered cupboard along with a gilded peg leg and a stock of harpoons and a single well crafted grappling hook. Finally, you manage to collect a total of 12sp that were lying in various places around the room.
Alabaster
By the way, I think CLW heals 1d8 points of damage instead of 1d6 unless the warpriest reduces the healing the spell does?
Giffer looks up at you with her one good eye, smiling tiredly in your direction as she continues her work on deck.
"A pretty gnome you say? It's been quite a while since anyone has said that to me. The name's Giffer Tibbs but my friends call me Giff. Seems you were lucky, it was the blackjack for me. Leaves a mighty sore in your head and a nasty bum on top of that. Anyway, is there anything I can do you for?
Edward
As you move up to Cogward he glares in your direction, clearly not interested in you from the start. When you mention your job and talents, Cogward bursts out laughing.
"Ah so your a talespinner eh? Probably not much of a fighter I'll guarantee that from your pretty face and untouched skin. Listen lady's man, I don't know what you heard about me or what you might want to hear but I certainly don't want anything to do with your sort.
With that Cogward goes back to work. From his outbreak and the way he adressed you it is blatantly apparent that Crimson Cogward is a man who values virility and power above all other things. He respects strength in combat and the promise of a rough conversation or brawl appeals to him
Isaac
The pretty gnome turns your way with a grin on her face as you address her before speaking up
"Well aren't ye just one o' the classiest f$~#s I've had the pleasure o' meeting on this god forsaken piece of crap they call a ship. The name's Rosie, what the f~+# can I do for you?"
While she speaks you notice how comfortable and cheery she looks while she swears away, and also how musical her voice sounds as she speaks.

Edward Irmington |

Edward responds in kind.
"Hah, in case you haven't noticed from the bruised cheekbone, the tomboy punched me, so i'd say i'm not unscathed. Fine, how about we have a fistfight tomorrow? I bring no magic, just because i got my looks doesn't mean i'm afraid to take a punch. You in or out?", Edward looks with a smile and arms crossed, both of respect and challenge.
Night action: entertain the crew.
Performing: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
The song, Sally the pirate Gnome
Who, ladies and gentlemen, has ever heard of Sally the pirate Gnome?
You sir? Or maybe you miss? No? Let me share her tale....
Ohh...there...was...Sally the pirate gnome
little missy grew up without a home.
Left as a baby on the street in an overcoat,
she was found and raised on a pirate's boat.
==>Chorus:
[quickens]Sally, oh Sally[quick-ends]
little hothead on the open seas.
Sally, oh Sally
as quick and sharp as a winter's breeze.
Hair red and chin straight up,
her sharp tongue left many pirate a little pup.
Nver joke about her curves or height,
lest you risk the loss of your sight.
Sally was the best at heaving grog,
fresh in the morning, the others a log.
An ace in the gambling game,
Sally had earned so quite the fame.
Chorus
Boarding had never been so much fun,
if you'd seen little Sally jump and run.
Sweeping her cutless left and right as battle calls,
she's left many a man without his balls.
A gnomish pirate oh so mean,
the most compact terror of the seas you've ever seen.
So if you ever meet Sally one day,
pay your respect or prepare to pay.
Chorus

Alabaster Cain |

Heal: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Alabaster grins widely.
Aye, I can be seein' 'ow ye mighta been havin' tha hard way.
He chuckles, and then continues.

I knew a gnome on me last ship, an' he was tha most fun fellow I'm ever fer meetin', an' I was fer seein' ye last night, and ye look ta even more fun ta be callin' me friend. Besides, tha way I'm fer seein' it, ye can't be havin' too many friends onna ship liken this one, see? I might be havin' some business ta attend ta tonight, but iffen I'm fer havin tha time, I'd like ta have a drink wit ye tonight, and share some tales and some drink?
My nighttime action is very dependent on what happens. If Ranak gets the booze, I'll use the action(s)to go to the shop after hours, give it to Grok, and then negotiate out stuff back, possibly using a second one to persuade Giffer again. If he can't get it, then I'll use my nighttime action(s) to persuade Giffer again, and possibly take a second one to persuade Tilly Bracket.

Again, apologies for the mispost. I assume the post may have timed out on my iPad before posting.
Dario spent the day working diligently indeed and taking cues from the rigors of the vessel, decides to head to sleep... after a little legal snooping around.
Dario spends a bit of time below decks taking in the crowd he missed the previous night. He's tired but is seeing if anyone in particular stands out tonight from the crowd. He's searching for people who seem a cut above the ordinary crew so to speak.
