I leave for New York City around noon tomorrow and from there will leave for 11 days in China on Wednesday. I will be back late on Saturday April 7 and begin to catch up on April 8th. And yes I know I just got back from a trip.
I will have an iPad with me (better than posting from a phone) and should have internet most of the time but there are three days that are remote so I am almost sure I will not have internet all the time. I will do my best to post some but please both me instead of waiting for me. This is my last trip longer than a long weekend I have planned for the entire year.

Movies are my way. And I think the thing you're thinking of is usually called a "sleep mask" in English, Edward--a nightcap is either the literal hat, or (today) an alcoholic drink you take before bed. Which could be nice too! ;)

Sorry for my lack of posting, all. I have a play that I'm directing opening in 8 days, and things have definitely crept up on me a bit.

The one remaining sahuagin is actually ABOVE you; those arrows in the tunnels indicate downward slope. So you will have to get up to the chamber he is in to see him!
Oh. Okay then. I apologize for not realizing that. I think the better question would be: would I be able to reach the sahaugin within my 60 foot swim speed?
If blind I think the sahuagin would be moving at half speed. Is that right?
It is correct, and he did! They have a high swim speed.
Isaac, each square is 10', so it looks like you should be able to make it there with your swim speed!

As I've discovered in other games, dungeon crawls in PbP can be slow and frustrating. Since these caverns are definitely falling a bit into that area, would people be amenable to me taking the reins a little bit and making some assumptions about how we proceed? If so, here's a draft of what it would look like:
I'll assume that you'll move in a consistent marching order unless you say otherwise. You guys can decide what that is.
I'll assume you search each door for traps and take 10 to search each room.
I'll assume you're moving as a group, and not sending anyone to sneak ahead, unless you say otherwise.
I'll roll any opposed rolls needed (Perception checks and...possibly Will saves, I suppose) and include "bonus info" that I can't track who has access to (like Knowledge checks) under spoilers.
Sound good to everyone? Anything we want to add?

I'd imagine highest perception takes 10 and everyone else too to aid.

Does the party not own a wand of Cure Light? I was thinking we did. Diana was not really build to be a healer. She will be nearly useless in combat if she uses all her spell slots for healing.
Unfortunately the slow pace isn't just the nature of a dungeon crawl; I've also been more swamped and my life has been more unsteady of late than I'd like. :S I apologize for that, but I will endeavor to keep the pace up as much as possible!
And speaking of...I was halfway through a post and my computer ate it, then crashed. Given that it’s late here and I’ve averaged fiveish hours of sleep lately, I’m gonna head to bed. My apologies...post will be up in the morning!

Thanks all! We spent a little while longer without internet than I realized, but I'm very much relaxing and having a good time now. No promises on exact rate of posting, but I'll check in occasionally from here on out--our rate of travel has slowed way down, so there's a bit more breathing space.

So. It's been a while, and one hell of a terrible time, but I'm back. I won't bore you with the details of what I've been through since I moved to Florida but I just wanted to pop in and let you guys know that I'm at least alive. Though it would be awesome, I'm not expecting you to let me back into the game or anything, but most of you expressed concern when I went missing.
That being said, wow! I can't believe you guys are still going strong! This was always my favorite pbp that I was in and I'm glad to see you all still chugging along. :)
