I have a homebrew setting in which two city states are duking it out like men. That is to say, both are doing their level best to kill off each other's fighting age population. Cloud Kill at level 1? You'll probably see it. One shot sniper kills? It Happens.
You will be a member of a regiment on the front lines. A nearly nameless Jo. He will probably die. So will your second and third.
Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to survive. Whichever characters you happen to be on when you are rotated off the line is the character who will go on to bigger and better things.
So, does this kind of blood soaked mess appeal to anyone?

No prob. I have no major issue with getting killed, especially when the nature of the game is disclosed up front. I love making and trying out new characters, and sometimes it can be more fun to cycle through a few and see their upsides and downsides.
Getting over a fear of killing characters is a tough thing for GM's too, and I can see the value of that as a premise for a campaign all on its own; I've thought of running one like that myself.

As for aliases, don't bother for now. just start your posts with your character's name up top so we know who you are.
That being said, please report to discussion, you four.
I will be pulling in New people if anyone drops, so this thread won't be closed, per se. If anyone is interested, still post here and I'll pull people in as I can.

As for character creation, I say keep it simple. Don't put too much into it unless you really like to build characters. Just basic crunch will do. No extensive backstory required. I'm not going to restrict books, really. Inner Sea Gods PrCs are a no go as is the sacred geometry feat. Summoners (specifically Master and Synthesist) will probably die quicker than others.
Let's just say that your enemy has a strange tendency to target extreme cheese. :)
Dreamscarred Press (Psionics and Path of War) is allowed.

Character Creation details are in Discussion :)
Also, anyone who wants to spectate can. I don't mind.

Wouldn't this be a good place to really see how sacred geometry works?
I've seen a lot of people banning it, but not as many really looking at how often it would work.
Not to mention the player needs to determine if it is possible. It's not poker where the blond tosses her cards and asks if her hand is any good, and the rest of the table sighs in frustration because they recognize the full house.
Also interested.

Sacred Geometry is a mathematical time bomb. At early levels, it's fine. Even sub-par. As you level, however, it becomes more and more likely to hit your magic numbers. Eventually (14, if I remember correctly), it becomes impossible to NOT get what you need.
That's the reason for the ban. I just think it's a literally, mechanically broken feat and I prefer to not deal with it.
