well I can use the perception to try to identify the potion for emergency (standard) I will again take a 20 making it a 28 again hoping it is for curing so I can then hand it to Thomas for assistance (move). After this I will ask those in the area if one of them can use the heal skill with any ability and use these herbs as well for our wounded companion. After all of this I will dash over to the barbarian and say "let's get in there and help those fellows, eh?" 2nd round move to the barbarian and free talk.

The Lost Voice |

Aniolas, Female Barbarian
AC 20 (touch 10, flatfooted 16), HP 16, CMD 14
Aniolas looked at the others, then Morgrym, and half-smiled. Since Viktor seemed like he wanted to be in charge, she called over to him. "Viktor, the other bunker needs help. We're going ahead!" Hefting the Tower Shield, she nodded to her discarded shield. "Grab that for me, please. I'm Aniolas. 'Ani' will be fine."
Once Morgrym grabbed the shield, she set out across the trench to the next bunker. Internally, she was trying to find a place where she was not screaming at the injustice of being conscripted to fight for a war that she did not care about. Externally, she was going to be content to vent on the opposing army.

GM Choon |

Aniolas carefully picks her way to the other bunker through the bodies strewn in this trench. The soldiers here had done a good job of killing the shock troopers, but weren't as lucky as your group. Three of the troopers stand facing the bunker. Two are heavily engaged with the occupants, the third is standing behind the left hand trooper and is doing his best to assist.
The bunker the rest of you occupy creaks from the continued barrage from the enemy. The mages you saved re enter and each cast a spell of repair on the bunker, but the cracked ceiling is going to need some kind of improvised support to prevent an eventual collapse.
Also, the right flank bunker is still inaccessible. You have no idea how the battle is going from that direction.

Morgrym Black |

"hey Ani, my name is Morgrym" he says with a smile back and not particularly excited he picks up the shield and makes his way along. Placing the shield near the barbarian I will look around and see if there is a way to assist the two heavily engaged occupants perhaps even sneaking around to flank

The Dragon |

"I'll help the warriors over there. We need someone strong to reinforce this thing!"
Gaspard legs it towards the three shocktroopers assaulting the bunker.

Ani, Morgrym, and Gaspand advance on the threat.
Map updated
Meanwhile, the allied mages continue trying to shore up the ceiling, but they need a support beam to stabalize it against the continuing barrage.
Hey, could one or a couple of you greenfoots grab a support beam from the second line? One asks as he continues to weave magic into the bones of the structure.

GM Choon |

Gaspard- yes.
Victor and York, you leave the bunker and move to the second line. You see thick wooden beams stacked near a barrel of arrows, three longbows, and a small crate of rations. The beams will take both of you to lift and transport, but you could probably make off with the other supplies right now if you wanted with none the wiser.

The Dragon |

Gods be cursed, he'd been hoping to ration his magical ability for later emergencies. Except people kept nearly dying. Oh well. Using it up now would get rid of the dilemma, and he could go back to just being angry. Besides, the shock troopers were lined up perfectly right now, he'd have to work fast before his allies got in the way.
He starts the incantation as he runs along, and a flash of cold flame swallowing the men before him.
That was it - he was down to cantrips now. And whatever he could shoot with the crossbow they'd given him.
Using my last Burning Hands, catching the three troopers with freezing flame. Ref DC 18 half.

Aniolas, Female Barbarian
AC 20 (touch 10, flatfooted 16), HP 16, CMD 14
That flame was a great opener to the fight, and Aniolas discarded the Tower shield, taking the flail in both hands as she swung at the first soldier, interposing herself between them and their magical support. If they were lucky, they could remove one of the men before things got ugly. The odds of this turning on them were significant, but it was doable.

GM Choon |

Victor and York, will you take the beams, or the supplies?
3d20 ⇒ (9, 1, 12) = 22
Anionas scores a good hit just after the spell rolls over the ill prepared men. The man drops to the ground in a heap.
3d20 ⇒ (19, 20, 6) = 45
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 6) + 6 = 17
Both men step up and attack her in return. The first manages to slip his flail through her guard on her weapon arm and delivers a harsh blow to her temple, followed almost immediately by the second as he brings his weapon low around her blocks and up into her gut.
(take 17 from two hits).
She does make a wonderful distraction though, and Morgrym is able to slip around them into a flanking position, though there may not be anyone to cover him anymore. Inside the bunker, he can make out two soldiers with long spears.
2d20 ⇒ (2, 11) = 13
Who both step up and promptly miss their marks.

The Dragon |

Gaspard gulped as the two remaining men tore through the tribeswoman.
I'm going to die.
In near panic, he scrambled backwards through the trench as he called up his magic, and tried to keep the crossbow pointed in his direction as well.

It was going to be close, and it was not going to be good, but sometimes there was more to be found in survival than winning. The wound was serious, but Aniolas was going to live for a few seconds more, if just on anger. 'I'm not going to die in a war that is not even mine', she thought to herself, rage galvanizing her actions. "Retreat!" she called out, the two of them not likely to survive.
Dashing back towards the bunker they had just exited, one hand pressed to the wound in her stomach, she knew she had to get out of these trenches and behind the front line.

Full Withdraw back to the bunker.

Morgrym Black |

oh Chaldara he somewhat mutters being surrounded and with no one helping him he knows he has no way to hold this area by himself and with no one else but the barbarian who withdraws he decides the better part of valor is to withdraw himself and swiftly does so
<full round withdraw>

GM Choon |

Everyone withdraws, and the men turn to re engage the spearmen in the other bunker.
Fate: 1d20 ⇒ 8
One of the guards is put down by the spearmen, but in the end the remaining shock trooper prevails and gains control of the bunker.
Victor and York arrive shortly thereafter with the needed support beams.
Fate: 1d20 ⇒ 14Front Forwarded
The barrage lays for the next few hours before stopping, but there are no more charges and your bunker is holding in spite of the damage thanks to the reinforcing beams. Night falls.
What do you do?

The Dragon |

"Maybe, now we're all gathered, we should try to launch an assault, get that bunker back? Better we do it now than they do it later."
Gaspard aired his thoughts tentatively, but thought better of it.
"Or maybe we shouldn't be playing heroes. Come to think of it, yeah. Let's just rest while we can. Set up a watch system and catch some shut-eye?"
He kicked around in the bunker, looking for a comfortable position to lie in.

Ordinem Mortem |

Thomas gratefully pops the potion bottle.
cure light: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
The potency of the fluid hits him immediately, and he goes from being quite unsteady on his feet to being much more sound and even. He looks to the others. "How is everyone doing? There are bandages and herbs here, and I think they can speed the healing process. but it will take several hours to take effect."

Aniolas, Female Barbarian

A few seconds after reaching the bunker and giving a count of the individuals that were present, Aniolas collapses from her wounds. Thomas rushes over to Aniolas.
heal: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
He grabs out the emergency pack. "She's beat up pretty bad, but it looks like she's stable."
He takes out one dose worth of the bandages and herbs, and starts patching her up. assuming that it can be split up.

York |

"No kidding."
"How much of those medical supplies do we have?"
Heal: Long Term Care on Aniolas: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
If there is enough of the supplies:
Heal: Treat Deadly Wounds on Self: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Whoo hoo, 1 HP healed. Now at 2 HP, and ready for action! Somebody want to roll for Long Term Care on me while I rest? That way hopefully I can regain some HP over night.

The Dragon |

I believe taking 20 on anything requires 20 times the normal neccesary time. Long-term care rules go something like "DC 15, can heal 1 additional person per 5 you beat the DC."
Gaspard wasn't wounded, and as such, he didn't need healing. Seeing as he didn't know a damn thing about patching up wounds, he settled in to get some sleep. Rest while I can. With a little luck, I might even have time to get my spells back. Then again, who am I kidding? Luck doesn't happen.

Morgrym Black |

Morgrym has no real healing skills but he settles down and eats and then says "I will try to do my best to assist" and takes a watch attempting to assist the healing skill roll.
Assist: 1d20 ⇒ 6
although his heart is in the right place he fails to do much and says
"at least I can take a watch and let others who need rest from wounds get it."

after thinking about it Morgrym realizes that the party needs healing items and knows that there is a healers tent toward the rear. He says to the group "I will be right back" and then Morgrym during the night will sneak back to the rear and try to "aquire" a handful of potions or perhaps even better a wand!

You manage to get your hands on a bandoleer of potions, but you have to disappear before you can check what they are.
The trip back to base is easier because everyone expects a grunt like you to be walking that way and you arrive back at the bunker with
5d100 ⇒ (33, 63, 32, 22, 51) = 201
- Potion of Remove Fear
- Cure Moderate wounds
- Protection from Evil
- Mage Armour
- Bear's Endurance

York |

"Thanks"
York moves to the safest place he can find and lays out his bedroll, keeping his weapons extremely close, so they can be taken up at a moment's notice. His armour he keeps on, as it is light enough not to bother him too much, and struggling to take it off and on was more likely to aggravate his wounds than help.

Morgrym Black |

Make my way back to the camp and says "damn rations I ate made me sick sorry I was gone so long" When it is my watch and no one is looking I first leave the mage armour with Gaspard near him so he finds it and I leave the bears endurance to the paladin Victor because he showed valor anf leadership so he too finds it, and because the barbarian was the most friendly to me I clean her with some spare water and feed her the cure potion when she wakes holding her hand and saying "its me Morgrym, its ok you pulled thru somehow keep quiet now ts ok"

The Dragon |

Gaspard wakes up, stretches uncomfortably, and startles as he finds a potion on top of his spellbook. He eyeballs the others with confusion on his face, before saying a few magic words, and examining the thing. Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Mage Armor. Interesting...
"Ahem. Someone left a potion of Mage Armor on my book. Is there someone randomly leaving their valuables lying all over the place, or was I supposed to take it?"
With that, and assuming no-one steps up to take it back, he goes about looking through his spellbook, preparing himself for the day. Since he has the potion, he ignores that spell in favor of leaving some space for adaption later in the day. There had been times yesterday when he was desperate for some other options: He'd make sure to have that choice today.
