Finishing up her food rather quickly she nods and gives her friends a little smile, "Thanks...I think I better go wash my hands." Standing up she gives Dagmarr's hand a light squeeze, "I'll be back in a little bit." She then goes to the bathroom to wash her hands and take a few breaths. She was so grateful for Dagmarr and the friends she had made, she never realized how much they actually cared about her. Well, she was pretty clear about Dagmarr, but she didn't realize the others felt that way about her. The feelings catching her a bit off guard she washes her face in the sink a few times and tries to calm herself. She didn't want anyone to think she was upset, she wasn't really sure what this was she was feeling, but it wasn't completely bad. It was completely different from The Center and the dessert hell hole she came from.
Gashka |
She can't help but look surprised, "Really? It's just....you don't look any older than you did when I was little. I don't know...half the time I don't know what I'm thinking anymore." She says before sipping on her coffee some more.
Arista Milocathe |
She looks at Sadhana, wondering what her sister thinks of all this or if there was anything she could add to what she had already told Toni about Solomon.

She kind of sighs as she feels the heat in her face slowly cooling off, "Well....I guess I can't say too much. If Anyka hadn't been there to talk to me about certain stuff, you might have ended up with a cat folk orc grandbaby. With everything that happened...it's probably best that we took precautions." She says before staring down into her coffee.
Gashka |
She kind of shrugs, "We were stuck on his ship for a while and there wasn't much else to do. I don't feel bad about it, just one of those learning experiences. Just means I won't be so quick to jump into things this time. Just....don't tell Papa okay? I don't want him worrying or freaking out or anything."

"You're an adult, Gashka," Kealey says. "And we weren't there for you while you were...going through things. It's a normal part of life. I promise I won't tell your father."
Thrainn walks into the kitchen. "Tell me what?"
Kealey smiles at her husband. "About Gashka's friend, Chris."
"Oh, that scrawny boy?" Thrainn laughs. "Is he sweet on you, Gashka?"
Gashka |
She hates herself for it but she blushes again. Trying to hide her face behind the little mug of coffee she nods, "Yeah, and it took me talking to a total stranger to figure out that I have feelings for him too. I was just trying to ignore them, because accepting them would mean that I would then also have to accept certain....truths. Once I accepted those, I was able to accept my feelings for him. We're not running off and getting married or anything, but we decided we would try things out once we get done in the mines." She pauses for a moment, "And he's not that scrawny. He's an alchemist and a pretty good one, he's also a pretty good cook. He stayed up all night long making anti venom potions for us to keep us safe while down there, so he's resting right now...but when he gets up, we'll be heading back down there."
Gashka |
She shakes her head, "What are you talking about? You're a wonderful father. You and mama did the very best you could, you both love me unconditionally, you were there as much as you could be with everything that happened....and you believed in me and gave me the confidence I needed to fight back against the things that hurt us....hurt our friends. You travelled to a completely different world so you could be here for me....I still need you. How could you think you're not a good father?"
Gashka |
She shrugs, "What's normal? You sent Derika away to save her life, and the piper and all that....none of that was your fault and you tried helping me cope afterwards. None of that matters though, because you're here and we're all together now." She gets up and goes to him, putting her arms around him she gives him a tight squeeze, "You're my Papa and I love you. I always have, and I always will."

Rosa listens to the woman as she explains about her gift. So, was that why she had been staring at her? Did her "energies" look different? Wanting to avoid anymore awkward staring she looks up at the woman and gives her a small smile while showing her fangs, "So...is that why you were looking at me? Well, I'm a dhampir, so I'm not gonna look like them....but I'm not sensitive to the sun, and...I'm not bad, I'm just....different." She says a little more quietly before looking back down and going back to her food.
"That definitely explains it, yes." Vishanti says softly. "I'm sorry if it made you feel uncomfortable, your life energy is noticeably different from the others which is what drew my attention. As different as it is though, it is clearly no reflection on you as a person, just a difference like any other."
Sādhanā |
"Guess we'll start in what's left of Utopia then," Toni says.
"Yes, that was the last place we saw 'him'. His physical form is vaguely humanoid now, but all worms and black ichor. One of the original thirteen, more manipulative than most and clearly resourceful enough to recover from being killed once. Be careful with that one, he's a survivor above all else." the magus relates.

Before going to the bathroom.
Nodding she says, "Okay, it's just...people used to stare at me a lot, even when I wasn't doing anything they thought of as "wrong"...I guess because I wasn't even like others of my kind, and some people couldn't deal with that. I'm just used to people making assumptions about me, so I'm sorry if I misunderstood why you were looking at me. I'm not used to people just being curious....or nice for that matter, but....Dagmarr and her friends are helping with that."
Giving her love a little smile to let her know she's really okay she says, "I'll be back in a couple of minutes, finish your food before it gets cold." She then gets up and goes to the restroom to wash her hands and get her bearings.
Frostine Finnisson |
Frostine looks at Dagmarr before turning her attention towards Vishanti once Rosa leaves, "Woden brought Rosa to us only a few days ago, and even though I don't know that much about her personal history, I'm pretty sure that the place she came from wasn't a very nice one. She's still getting used to things here, but she's a good friend and we all care about her. Thank you for explaining...." She pauses to yawn, the food making her sleepy. Looking up at Thorgr she says, "Hmmm, after we walk around for a while I might need a little nap." She pushes her plate away before finishing her drink. There's onlyh a little meat and some vegetables left on the plate, but she just couldn't eat anymore.
Arista Milocathe |
She nods, "That's right, you guys be really careful on your camping trip too. As far as the Inquisitors of Blackcrown go, we don't know much about them either...but heard about them from a girl we rescued while dealing with the tower stuff, and apparently they're really bad news as well. I just wanted to make Sadhana aware of what was going on in case they run into him, or any of his little minions."
Celine Milocathe |
Celine finishes her snack and climbs down from thed table. Going over to Sadhana she pats her leg, "Mommy staying home with Celine and daddy." It wasn't so much a question, as a statement of fact as Celine makes sure they understand that mommy isn't going with them. She knew what mommy said, but she wanted to make sure they knew it too.
Sādhanā |
Smiling down at Celine, Sādhanā nods. "That's right Celine, she is staying. That's part of why we came, so she can tell us a few things and to say goodbye." the magus explains.
Arista Milocathe |
She sighs, "Well Toni, you guys enjoy the rest of your day, and say hello to Rajni for me. Was there anything else you needed to know or anything before you go?"
Jin Kobayashi |
Jin waves back at the red haired woman that waved to them before packing the cookies into her bag, those would taste good later.
After packing up the cookies she takes Laenid's hand and leans into her, resting her head on Laenid's shoulder as she waits to see if they were done here.

After a few minutes, Rosa returns to the table and sits down quietly next to Dagmarr. She scoots close to her love, leaning against her slightly as she waits for the others to finish their meal, so they could see about getting her the materials she needed to make her black powder and ammunition.

"They're playing in their room," Thrainn says. "It was a little too cold to let them go wandering off on their own."
He drains the last bit of coffee from his cup and gets up. "I better go see Mr. Meacham."
"Alright, dear," Kealey says. "Have a good day."
Thrainn nods, putting his cup in the sink then giving Kealey a brief kiss. "Will do."
Arista Milocathe |
Arista walks them to the door, Celine gets up from the floor and follows them to the door with her mommy.
When they get to the door she gives Toni a hug, "Okay, you guys have a safe trip and let me know when you get back okay?"
