I dont know, OOC I know what that is and its not easy solo. Also doubt your threat will have any effect, really anything from a fiendish plane is not going to be scared of a mortal. They build cities out of living souls and other horrors, how scary are you after that.
But really I wish you the best of luck, remember fiends can be wily. ;)
P.S. Wonder if Imperial dragons would count for that spell. Would be cool if they did.

Yeah, he'll have spell resistance probably, but because of my robe, spell penetration, and the varisian tattoo, I have a +24 to overcome SR with abjuration spells, so I'm looking pretty good there.

Gelein Tathor |

Its not so much the discreption itself as the style of the attack and him being an outsider. It screams demon and if its not a balor the list is very short, anyways knowing what it is does not help if you have changed it around which is common. The most you can hope for is general stuff but looking up the monster itself wont be that useful. Small simple changes can create unexpected challenges for PCs. ;)

Derric the Advisor |

Well I made a mistake, coming from less than full familiarity with the bloodline arcana I have. Oh well, next time he'll have to make a DC 36 check to survive on this plane, assuming the whole multiverse doesn't just compress into one plane.

Geez I did not want to use gate. Aw well when even souls cant make their way to heaven I guess you have to use the big guns. Thats a bit disturbing, every power good thru evil should be freaking at that. No souls is bad for everyone. Messing with the Astral plane is beyond godlike if you ask me.

DM Fnord |
The rules I see all refer to a PC gaining traits, and since a pair of traits is effectively an extra feat, I'm inclined to say they are one of the qualities that separates a hero from everyone else.
However, I also feel that the cohort is frequently a close associate and extension of the pc, and rarely am inclined to GM a cohort's actions. And depending on the manner of death of the player, the cohort is often selected to step in.
So I will accept cohorts with two traits, same rules as the PC. Other followers are built with the npc rules.
Please note that if you give your cohort the leadership feat, that cohort may not get traits, and that cohort will be gm controlled, and since you now have a subordinate with followers loyal to him, and not you, you may find yourself experiencing a coup if your actions go vastly different than what your cohort's beliefs.

Gelein Tathor |

Yeah I would never let a cohort have leadership sense it is abusable real easy. Just have their cohort get leadership too and before you know it thats an army. Granted lower lvls but still enough to be a threat to most towns and small kingdoms sense we are such high lvl when the chain is started.
I will add traits to mine shortly. But personally I doubt my cohort will replace Gelein, he has way to many fail safe's in place even should he die. ;)

I would not consider it dead just yet as RL happens. As for them coming over to this game, if/when the game is considered dead it would depend on the character. After all this game had different rules to theirs and more then just lowering the levels will be involved. They may have to completely rebuild their characters or even make new ones. Not a simple transfer and will take a good deal of time on their part. Not to mention a larger epic party will increase the CR of enemies so their number or power will go up and at epic thats an even greater balancing act then normal. In the event that you would take them I would suggest only taking 2, that will bring us up to a party of 5 total (not counting MIA Vanshoon) which is not to much of a shift in CR and such. With that I would prefer a tanking type and rogueish type to round out our party sense we more then cover the magic and healing.
Thats my take on it.

They were going super munchkinny in that game, slapping templates left and right and playing all sorts of monsters. It doesn't really fit with the style we have going here.

Sustos the Guardian |

As the people in the hot streets run about in panic a stoic figure lands before an empty block before the towering beetle husk. Like an angel from the sky the people turn to him for guidance and protection. After being informed of the sudden disappearance of Sothis's Observatory he walks upon the empty land, bends his knee to the ground and places his hand so his palm is touching the rock below.
"Tell me stone, who has done this?" He asks.
"We do not know young one." Came a voice in Terran echoing through his mind.
He stands and casts his gaze toward the sky. Then to the crowd that has formed at his back.
"People of Sothis! I will find out what has happened here for you! I will return what belongs to you and slay whatever demon has done damage to our skies." He bellowed
The crowd cheered as he grew wings and took off toward his home where he would collect his things and set off to find answers.
Hey guys, I'm glad to be playing in an epic game like this. DM Fnord asked me to write my own little story about what happened.. So I did, I hope you like and I'll just wait for him to pick up where I left off!

Hase |

@Gelein: I did. Isn't it awesome! Solves so much of the problem OOC. I just couldn't see Hase being cold hearted enough to consider his familiar expendable as long as the spells were backed up. Ended up spending way more on an item to make it harder to kill.
Hase was planning to spend a day casting as many create greater demiplanes as he can so that he can evacuate at least a fraction of Golarion's population. As long as he doesn't discover the planes are disintegrating, he'll probably still do it.

Gelein Tathor |

The astral plane is being effected, demiplanes are tied to the astral plane. So really nowhere is safe or immune if things go pop. I wonder if Nex and Tar-Baphon will escape if the planes get shacky enough to bust a crack in their respective prison's. Granted the most stable place in the planes happens to be Nex's place. ;3

They are not out yet, not even the playtest is out yet. Here our two links for the article and a sneak peak.
Just have to wait.
