YoricksRequiem |

This actually just came up a few days ago - http://paizo.com/campaigns/WorldOfWarcraftRoleplay/recruiting - so I'd say there's definitely interest.

DM Ashman |

As far races go..I am open if there an acceptable backstory. For example a Pandaran would be extremly rare to see but it is possible. My thoughts on this are to hybrid certain things. Such racial stats from the WoW core book but use class and skill from the Pathfinder Core and APG. A gnome Alchemist can be a thing in this game..if things work out right. A disclaimer for those who are looking at this thread..I am trying something new and FUN. So keep that in mind...

Alathea Sedai |

Hmm, Pathfinder classes? I guess that a warlock might best be represented by a Summoner or a Wizard or Sorcerer, but I'm more or less unfamiliar with the APG classes. I'm interested in playing a warlock with a demon companion. Do you, DM Ashman (or anyone else!) have thoughts on how best to represent that using the Core Rules and APG?

The Dragon |

I think you really should take a look at the summoner.
With the eidolon, they can imitate any of the demons, succubi being the possible exception.
If that's outside of your comfort zone, and it seems to be the case, then I remember a feat from the 3.5eDMG of D&D, called Improved Familiar(not sure if it was ported to pf), which allowed you to pick (amongst other things) an ip or a quasit as a familiar. Both of those would work, although I'm not sure that feat ever made it into pathfinder. It also requires a cl of six, IIRC.

GM Ash |

Here is my outline for the game . This will be a hybrid game from the 3.5 stuff and Pathfinder.
Races allowed
Humans
Gnomes
Orc
Night Elves
Trolls
Dwarfs
Tauren
Forsaken
Goblin
Panderan
Blood Elves
Classes allowed
Core rules
APG
Classes from the WOW 3.5 book
Timeline:
The events of Wrath/Cata/BC have not occurred yet. There is rumor of a floating turtle off the coast Kalimdor.
Send me your Class/race and I will let you know what the racials are. Let me know what books you have.

Foozlebit |

(...from the keyboard of Alathea Sedai...)
I'd like to play Foozlebit, a gnome "warlock", perhaps built from the summoner and/or sorcerer classes from Pathfinder, and/or the magic-using class from WoW 3.5 (I don't have my book with me, and I forget what it is called). Basically, I want to have a succubus companion, but I don't care if she's powerful or not, and once I have her, I'll go the spellcasting route.
If that's not an acceptable concept, how is a renegade dark iron dwarf fighter? I don't care about any mechanical bonuses from being a dark iron dwarf, but I like their background and fluff.
I have the Pathfinder Core Rules and Advanced Players' Guide, and I have the WoW 3.5 book.

"Bright" |

"Hehehehehehehe!"
"Oh! I know the punch line to that one!"
"Of course...the Goblin and the Gnome both continue walking as the Orc takes the bar, IN'A FACE!"
"Hahahahahahhaha!"
Real Life is against me atm. Won't be able to work up a character fro another couple of days. Wishing every one all the very best! (^_^)

Du'Rango |

Man, I never got into WoW until BC launched in my first year of college. Time flies.
So Onyxia as Lady Prestor is still orchestrating events in Stormwind? Has Orgrimmar been established?
Kel'thuzad is still floating above the plaguelands...let's see...Ahn'Qiraj I assume is still closed?
This might actually change my race/class combo. We'll have to see.
Case File: Du'Rango, Troll, report filed by Overwarden Harrus.
Height: 7'1".
Weight: 265 pounds
Hair color: Purple, mohawked
Skin color: Forest troll green
Covered in facial markings in the shape of a skull.
Arrest date: Last Friday
Call for assistance from the grunts came in at 2300 hours. There was an altercation at the Valley of Strength involving a traveling goblin merchant and his bodyguard. The goblin was in the middle of giving orc squaw Tarla an earful over an overturned cart of goods. The goblin's bodyguard, a huge specimen of a forest troll, had laid out three young orcs who had knocked the cart over, apparently Tarla's brats. The troll, upon seeing the grunts arrive, immediately opened his arms wide and said, quote, "I just be doin' me job, mon." Suspect smelled of smokeleaf; grunts confiscated a hookah-like device of some sort from suspect.
Goblin and bodyguard thrown out of Orgrimmar on charges of disorderly conduct.
FOR THE HORDE!

Foozlebit |

I've written up Foozlebit's backstory and started on her stats. They're in her profile, but for ease of reference, I'm pasting her backstory below.
I don't mind if everyone reads what's in the spoiler tags, but if other characters wish to encounter her without player knowledge of where she comes from, you should skip the backstory.
Appearance and Mannerisms
Foozlebit is short and curvy, with unusually pale skin and white hair. Despite her hair, she appears youthful. She is pretty, with heavy-lidded eyes and pouting lips, but her face is closed and she rarely smiles. She dresses in fine clothing, and prefers rich robes and gowns in dark colors. She speaks quietly and without much emotion or inflection.
Foozlebit is known as a warlock, and readily admits to being one. She can often be found searching through unsavory tomes or conducting unhealthy summoning experiments with an obsessive focus. At other times, though, she enjoys the company of others, and frequents the Stonefire Tavern when at home in Ironforge.
Although she is generally friendly, Foozlebit is somewhat subdued and not outgoing.
Foozlebit was young and dumb when she fell in love, and Mimblezork was a few years older than her. He was strong and handsome and knew all about engineering, and Foozlebit fell for him hard. She was giddy when he returned her feelings and gave herself to him wholeheartedly, dreaming of a future of love, marriage, thermodynamics, and possibly children. When Gnomeregan fell, he volunteered to fight for its recovery, but she stayed behind in Ironforge to tend to the wounded. Although she feared for his safety, she was thrilled with his bravery and valor, and prayed for the day when he would come home victorious as a hero of battle and savior of their home.
But of course, Gnomeregan was not recovered, and Foozlebit's dreams were likewise dashed when Mimblezork returned with another woman on his arm. He had fallen in love with a fellow warrior, he told her, and that this love was real. She'd been fun, he said, but he was ready to settle down. Heartbroken, Foozlebit fled and vowed that she'd never fall in love again and that she'd have her revenge.
With her talents for magic, Foozlebit sought a magical means to make Mimblezork fall in love with her--so she could stomp on his heart like he had hers. Her research yielded no obvious results, but she did read about succubi--temptresses and corruptors of men of passion and lust. Perhaps she could learn how to exact her revenge from one of these demons?
With single-minded focus, Foozlebit threw herself into the study of the fel arts and the learnings of the warlock, striving to gain the knowledge and power to summon a succubus. But after time, her need for revenge became less important than gaining power for its own sake. The Twisting Nether whispered to her, and she was ever eager to learn more of its secrets. Everything she learned led to further, greater questions, and her desire for answers gave way to the desire for more questions. Thus, she studies still and is happy, but she still would take an opportunity to break Mimblezork's heart--if it presented itself to her.

Dents |

He is a tall Orc with large muscles and a very well kept appearance. His skin is a dark greenish tone and his hair is starting to Grey from age. He has seen many battles in his day, but mostly it has been from the healers tent. Now it has come time for him to prove himself as a true asset for the Horde.
Don't personally own the WoW books, so not sure what stats they have in there for the other races. I was going to use those slated for the PF Orc unless I could get away with Half-Orc. Basically Dents is an Orc priest (Orc Oracle of Life). I would be interested to know what the stats are for Forsaken...
Dents soon was put to work using these powers and soon became the village healer. Day in and day out he would heal the sick and wounded until they stopped caring about getting hurt and taking his abilities for granted. On one such day a little boy who he should have been able to save died because he did not have any more power left. The soul of that boy haunts him to this day.
Eventually he was conscripted into the military as a healer far from the battles taking place. He was very good at his job and eventually he worked with Thrall on some of his missions versus the Alliance.
He has a general hatred towards the "pretty races" as he has to fight to maintain his appearance and really stands out in a crowd. He feels like they are accepted more the more they are beautiful and hates that he is looked down upon for not having scars of battle and an unkempt appearance.
Dents is more of a laid back narcissist than anything else. His priority is making sure he looks good, but also making sure others look their best. He figures if everyone looks pretty, he wont stand out as much, so long as he is the prettiest. He is outgoing and willing to work with almost anyone, so long as they don't intentionally/indirectly try and cause him harm.

GM Ash |

Just a couple of helps here..for the game...

Loving the stuff here...

"Bright" |

She's been working in an Alchemist/Machine shop doing all the small/delicate work...on account of being a Goblin, who's small, like.
Now, since her hands are too big compared to the smaller, cheaper Goblin youngsters (There are always more Goblin youngsters around to do the small, fiddly work) she's off out into the big wide world to make more of a name for herself.
Ah, who's she kidding? Some Goblins, Master Burk? They jus' want to see the world burn....
(^_^)

"Bright" |

*Laughs*
Hey, it's quick, short and straight to the point. Kind of just like Bright. (^_^)
We are gon'a have sooo much fun! I can feel it!
As for moneys? I went and spent a Trait to get a hold of all of mine. Spent quite the pretty amount of penny to boot, let me tell you.
Hope every one is doing swell. Will try and have more of the character finished soon.
*Giggles* bar....in'a face...
