After a long time away from these forums, I am now finally glad to make a return. Work and life constraints prevented me from continuing one of the things I love, pbp rp'ing.

So as a result of my return, I will be restarting one of my favorite campaigns, Rise of the Runelords! If you are a player from my previous campaign, please re-submit your character and you will be given preference.

This will be a heavy RP campaign and as a result, the minimum posting requirement is lower then most campaigns. Posting will be at a minimum of three times a week and must have at least a paragraph. This also means that extensive character backgrounds are a must.

Crunchy Bits
20 point buy - only one dump stat and no stat higher then 18 (even after racial modifers)
HP: Max at level one, average on following
Traits: Two, one from the Player's guide for the campaign
Equipment: 150 gold
Content: Any, if its 3PP, link me content
Races: Any, except for the race builder
Classes: Any
Alignment: Keep it good-ish, not a lot of CN please

Hey Omni, good to see you again. You sure you don't want to submit Soris for this as a Varisian and take the Tattooed Mystic PrC? That would be cool

Well tattooed mystic and tattooed sorcerer have redundent abilities plus its not full spellcasting which hurts a sorcerer pretty bad. Zoruk is better suited and already set up for the AP.

This looks like something I can start with again. I GM'd Shackled City via PbP and RL, but RL took over for a couple of years. Three posts/week is something I'm sure I can meet.

I've heard wonderful (and dangerous) things about this AP, but I haven't had a chance to play in it.

I would be willing to play one of multiple character types (whichever is needed):

An Male archer-elf wizard (thinking short or longbow, with a dagger).
A Male dwarven fighter (Axe/Shield heavy armor focused warrior): I love my classics.

A Female Human cleric of Milani. my focus would be on hope and protection (healing/Protection domains).

I've played way too many rogues, so I'd like to stay away from them.

Omni - I was going more with the story idea then optimization, Zoruk is a fine character!

Darkmeer - I look forward to reading the bio of which ever you choose

The trip went well, no problems at all. We are all settled in Cali now. Only sad thing was not seeing any snow this winter. That was kinda odd for me.

I'd like to apply for this. I'll have a character up shortly. I'm looking at a Varisian bard (street performer) concept at the moment.

Are you open to the Orcish Witch Doctor Archetype being played with a half-orc character?

GM Tallgrass - I would allow it, but why not play an Orc, what's the worst that could happen? ;)

I've been wanting to play a summoner that would take the broodmaster archetype. Most likely a human. I"ll have to flesh out the details of course if it would be an acceptable concept.

Broodmaster is fine, hell I will even allow Master Summoner as long as you don't try to solo everything.

Would you have any objection to me trying out a Malefector from TPK Games?

That's OK, I was thinking of trying out the Moirae Archetype, which replaces Aura of Misfortune (as fun as that is) with the ability to make sure some rolls the equivalent of twenty once a day per person, to a number of people equal to my Wisdom modifier.

DM. I'm going to submit Libby. I created her some time ago for another game that didn't work out and I've not looked at her since so there may be a few things that don't make sense; I'll make sure everything is neat & tidy should I get picked. :)

Noro been through alot since we last met.

She got shipwrecked on Smugler's shiv for a short time, then she got Shanghied aboard the Wormwood, and she also joined a gang in Absalom.

I have a Dwarven idea I'd love to try, its using a dorn-derger and eventually taking the feats needed to wield it one handed then adding a shield for AC. Any opposition to the dorn-derger?

I'll work up a character profile.

Don't worry Zoruk is smart enough not to hate orcs off the bat. I mean if you managed to get pass the town guard alive then your not a normal raider. Just don't expect him to be alone with you or turn his back anytime soon. xP

Castarr here again. This is the character I'm working on. I know street performer is suboptimal, but I like the feel of the archetype for a Varisian.

SO I changed my idea from fighter to Oracle, A dwarven Oracle of metal, wielding a dorn-derger. I've got a pretty good start in his profile. let me know if there's anything specific you want me to add.

Though the archetype would fit for a Varisian, it doesn't get inspire courage or bardic knowledge, both things that would benefit the group. What it gets in return isn't near as usefull as those two things.

Also, Mord would not kill an orc or half orc on sight while in town. He He would however stay near by to protect the townsfolk should Mr orc let his savage blood rule his actions. At which point he can re-introduce the orc to the feeling of metal upside the head!
