Personality:
Zalvenos is rather undisciplined and loves a good prank. Eternally searching for the limelight, he thinks nothing of telling lies. He fancies himself as having a knack with words, and carries himself with a sort of smug pride that rubs some people the wrong way. His search for attention manages to keep him out of trouble, ironically. After all, you can't impress people if you're behind bars. Zalvenos considers it much more worth it to make a big show of being nice to people, often convoluting words to make himself seem like a better guy than he actually is.

He's always wondered if anyone is actually nice for the sake of being nice. There doesn't seem to be much profit in that. Fame though? He can get behind that idea.

Background:
Zalvenos has spent most of his life with his family's caravan. They worked as traders, visiting Shoanti tribes with manufactured goods and exotic knick-knacks, and then returning to the lowlands with furs and magical items unique to the Shoanti people. Due to being on the road most of the time, Zalvenos received only a rudimentary formal education, but he has picked up many useful tips about people in his journeys. He and his family are visiting Sandpoint to trade and take advantage of the upcoming festival. After all, what is a festival without a few games?

The games are rigged, of course, but surely everyone knows that. Besides, what they're paying for is to have fun, not to actually win that prize. A good carny knows how to make sure people enjoy the experience of giving him money.
